Under Two Weeks

Warm weather coming:
  • We're in the final stages and down to the last two weeks before St. Baldrick's 2015. Scheduling of shave times will start next week so there's still time to sign up if you haven't already. We'll be at the academy and in 025 from 0700 - 1700 hours on Friday March 20th. If you're not able to join us please consider supporting one of our brave shavees. Challenge the other watch or districts to see who can get the most people to sign up and invite a friend to come along and watch you as you help fight childhood cancer by getting your head shaved to show solidarity with the kids who lose their hair to chemo treatments.

To sign up just go to St. Baldrick's site and click on the Academy or Area North and follow the links. If you have any questions you can e-mail Bill O'Reilly, chromedome1269@sbcglobal.net.

    Until we find a cure!
With all the new Inspectors out there, you know you could use a trim.

Bread cards? What nonsense. Use "Magic shave" if a razor bothers your skin.

While mother nature beat St. Baldrick to the punch in my case, I wholeheartedly salute all those who support and participate in this honorable event.
God Bless them all!

O.T. The Simon City Royals were filming an officer eating at a Subway restaurant at Belmont and Laramie. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HuAjNxG-yss

That is a veil threat. The voice sounds like Thadeus Jiminez. The piece of shit who won a 25 million dollar award from a jury.

sure wish there is a cure. but unfortunately due to big corporation and our own government they will NEVER allow a cure for cancer. It would be a loss of trillions of dollars from big pharmaceutical companies around the world. Sad sad world we live in.

O/T the media are racing to call the Wisconsin cop shooting a black male "Ferguson 2" - in the family's rush to remember this gentle giant with the obligatory graduation photo, they neglected to mention his arrest last year for armed robbery. The liberal Madison media will spin this every way against the cops.

What happened to Murph in What happened to Murph in Area 2?

Unfortunately after hosting the event for the past 7 years in Area South & at the 22nd District, I was unable to commit to hosting an event this year.

The great news is that the Academy event has more than enough room to accommodate anyone who would like to shave their head, come and cheer, and support the cause. Please go see Bill O'Reilly there or venture further north, and west, and go support Anne Zamzow at the Area North/25th District event.

Finally, I ask that if you can't help out with Saint Baldrick's this year, that you please say a prayer for Emily Beasley. Emily was our honored child at last years event in Area South/22nd District. Emily is currently battelleling this dreaded disease, again and she can use all of our prayers. Her father Ed, a Detective in Area South, was also one of the main workers for the south side event the past two years. I'm certain he would welcome the prayers and support, wherever you know Ed & Emily, or not.

I'm sorry there is no event south for this year but I hope you can still get involved, or again, at the very least, please pray for Emily and her family.

Until we find a cure!

BIll Murphy
Area South

Armed Robbery arrest , gentile gian only did a strong armed robbery . Both heros to who ?
Do you think Reverend Martin Luther King would think a criminal was a hero . I don't , he was a true hero in America , fought for equal rights , non violence , raised hs family with values .
