Ethics Testing, the test that every city employee supposedly has to
pass, but every city politician seems to have no concept of the rules
contained within.

Don't forget lawyers must take annual ethics training in the continuing legal education courses they have to attend. How many ethical lawyers do you know of?
That thing infuriates me. It's one of the biggest jokes going.
Different rules for different classes of people. The politicians routinely flaunt, ignore and trample all over these very same ethics yet we get disciplined if we don't take the course.
Why isn't there a check box for I don't want anything. Anybody I know would never want any type of business deal with the city. (late or no payments)

Ethics are something you talk about but never practice if you are a politician or work for the government.
The funny part is the silly ethics test has nothing to do with law enforcement. Not one question pertains to police work. The whole test is for big shot city hall guys that have access to gov. Contracts and deals. Dumb!

This is the same method I used when conducting the LEADS exam back when I was still working. Everyone WILL pass this exam!
But the mayor can take millions of dollars from a company then issue the company a NO-bid contract.

Did Daley ever take the ethics test? Didn't he start working for the law firm who managed the parking meter debacle after he retired?
Ethics?! We have a coniving Mayor, crooked city counsel, political hacks and kiss asses on this Police Dept. We have to take this stupid test that don't mean shit! Can't wait to leave this corrupt City and corrupt State!
Should be a class-Action Lawsuit filed, for every Officer forced to submit to this. No allegations or Evidence of any wrongdoing yet forced to submit these. Just like the Piss-Test, both Unconstitutional. No unusual behavior documented, no reprimands or suspensions, no der election of Duty, no excessive Absenteeism or documented behavior, yet dedicated officers are forced to piss into a bottle to keep their job. Fuckin Communist Totalitarianism. All because of Political Correctness, this Blatent Discrimination is allowed and forced upon Officers by CPD and other Agencies, while Politicians again walk away Scot-Free

That was okay, because he was clearly working for them before he ever left City Hall.
Question. ...Can a Alderman Rezone Property from Business to Residential that his Wife who's in Real estate bought.... that's Pat O'Conner.

99% of Lawyers make the rest look bad.
Ethics test was always a joke on this job. There was always a Misc-X card with the answers either taped to a computer or alongside. Ethics, they cannot define the word.
Taking this test is the only unethical thing I've ever done
It wasn't heroin....it was a legally verbal prescription.

Only Chicago Policemen have any compelling rules to abide by...
Whether under pain of discipline up to and including separation, imprisonment, loss of pension and civil action resulting from these.
Not to mention the shame, destroyed reputation etc...
Chicago's political and media creatures have no such cares and concerns.
