Both articles are skimpy on details but at least the Times show the little mutt standing with his "artwork" and our moron mayor.
Read the comments section in the Trib article and get the story from an eyewitness to the path of destruction that actually happened versus the simple traffic stop.

Yup. Damned cops planted that stolen car around Herbie's body and forced him to drive it.

"Nothing to do with No Gangs" should be pumped into every police station and holding area. It is a CLASSIC better than any Jib-Jab or anything else.

OT but related: Lake Co. IL State's Atty. Mike Nerheim did the right thing: He & the Major Crimes Task Force took time to fully investigate a PO involved shooting which occurred in Zion 7 weeks ago. The offender had stolen from another thug a previously stolen gun [love that one.] Squad car camera shows PO repeatedly ordering felon to drop the stolen gun - offender refuses - PO shoots offender. Shooting ruled justified. Ch. 5 News Christain Farr keeps the race card as the top part of the story. Felon's family gets the majority of the air time - you can see the $$$ signs in mama's eyes. Yesterday, when Ch. 5's Kye Martin reports on an unrelated robbery, the offender's race is not mentioned [guess the race]. Then Carol Marin reports on a prior PO involved shooting & out comes the race card again [white PO/black civilian]. Channel 5 News is rapidly becoming another Ch. 7 News with racial turmoil as its result - the truth is not a goal - but a casualty. Let's see how much coverage Police Week observances are given by 5 & 7.
Stay Safe - and remember not all State's Attorneys will back you up. Especially in Cook County & Baltimore.
