- With five and a half hours left in the Memorial Day Weekend in Baltimore, they have had 27 shootings of which at least 9 were fatal, making it the bloodiest weekend in Baltimore this century. The mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, prosecutor and black activist, Marilyn Mosby, and Chief of Police Batts as well as the rioters and looters in Baltimore have all done their damnedest to separate those abusive cops from the innocent citizens minding their own business on the streets. They got their wish and the streets are running red with blood.
You can tell this article isn't from some left-leaning media outlet. Baltimore is likely to experience some of the worst numbers in recent years, numbers so bad that CompStat would be hard pressed to explain or excuse them.

29 shootings with 9 fatal?? hahahah, childs play. in the past 4 hours weve had a homicide in 002, 015 and one in 007. we also in the past 4 hours have had about 9 others shot... 4 hours, thats it. catch up baltimore.
The mayor had the right idea. "We will have an area for those that want to protest and we will have an area for those that want to destroy."
...and we will also have an area for those that want to shoot and kill and be shot.
Too bad for her the shooting area is known as "Baltimore."
Sadly, my first reaction was "wow, Baltimore gangbangers are significantly better marksmen than Chicago gangbangers."
Shame on the politicians , courts and media for what they are turning this country into.
I work in a north side district and I should post the positive comments from the tax payers regarding the police I get, and the negative comments about the events going on and who they really blame when they see how this area is turning. It's sickening working vri and seeing well dressed citizens and out of towners shopping on Michigan ave. with low riders and shirtless thugs roaming in packs. They blame politicians and media!

I doubt it. The same situation occurred in New York City. After the two officers were killed the officers did everything by the book. Then the bosses started denying time due and changing start times. Then the officers decided to follow what the bosses told them to do. The same will happen in Baltimore. There is no long term unity in our police culture. Every officer only thinks of their own short term interests. If society wants us to do every single thing by the book then we should do just that.

I love it . Give liberal Baltimore what they want. Let the bodies pile up and maybe someday , I don't know when ,but maybe ,these assholes will appreciate the hardships the average street cop goes through to keep total strangers safe.
They'll pull out all the stops to try to charge any cop to the absolute fullest extent of the law. Damn the costs. Well, here are the costs. They're willing to trade off all these shootings and deaths for the charging of a couple cops. It's obvious the cops are getting the message. The message being - under no circumstances do any more than answer your calls. If you try to be proactive and make any mistake at all, you can be facing life in prison on murder charges. "F" that!!

Big problem , when a black receives a ticket for running a red light . He fails to take responsibility for violation because black leaders have brain washed him that he is stopped for driving while black . Plus many are driving without insurance , suspended driver license again , not his fault , racist police . There she was, only four months on the job and enjoying what she obviously perceived as the high point of her career -- the crucifixion of multiple police officers. Standing behind that podium with the huge seal of her office affixed, and all those microphones. She delivered her pronouncements and then kind of jutted her chin out like -- well, like Mussolini.
