Asshole Kills Ohio Cop with Chicago Roots

- A Cincinnati police officer killed in a shootout Friday was a Chicago native who had attended high school and community college here before leaving for Ohio, authorities said.
Cincinnati's police chief says a man suspected of fatally shooting the officer, Sonny Kim, apparently wanted police to kill him in what the chief described as "suicide by cop."
Kim, a decorated 27-year veteran of the Cincinnati Police Department, died along with the man involved in the Friday morning shooting in the Madisonville neighborhood, police Chief Jeffrey Blackwell said.
Sympathies to the Cincinnati PD and the family of the fallen.

SCC.......Need to brush up on your reading skills, it was the officer who had Chicago roots not the offender.

I think you got it wrong, SCC. The cop was from Chicagoland.
I'm not totally sure about that headline, or any of the facts here, SCC. Still, everything I have seen printed on this story points to the fact that the cop who perished was from here, not the offender. Who knows,maybe they both might be? Either way, I suppose I should be giving you some sack though, I've had a few before typing on this blog before, too. May he rest in peace.

Prayers for his soul and his widow and 3 kids. What a needless tragedy.
So terribly sorry. Prayers, blessings, and best wishes to the officer and family and friends. Work so hard and so long, and everyone's hopes for the future are taken away in a heartbeat. It ain't right.
