Again With the Cars
- A Lawndale man is accused of shooting a man in the right calf after his son and the man argued about a car title, prosecutors said Sunday.
Darnell Halmon, 41, of the 1500 block of South Ridgeway Avenue, faces one charge, felony aggravated battery with a firearm.
A group that included Halmon’s son fought Friday with another group of people about a car title, said Cook County Assistant State’s Attorney [...], at a Bond Court hearing Sunday. The shooting took place in the 1600 block of South Ridgeway Avenue about 11:15 a.m., police said at the time.
Halmon pulled out a semi-automatic gun and shot a 19-year-old man in the right calf, according to court documents.
Police found Halmon shortly after, about a block away.

These people just have no self discipline or self restraint. They operate on pure emotion.
And how much time did he serve from those 11 convictions? The judicial system here is beyond a joke.
Friday, I told a civilian friend to watch for stupid stabbings and shootings this weekend, thanks to the heat. And there you go.

Anyone try a gun arrest iltoday? Apparently there is some genius plan from downtown. Saw these kids get two pistols on a traffic stop and no bullshit, three detectives and a sgt came out to "investigate." Apparently you can't call felony review yourself in a few area south districts. Anyone know wtf is going on with that? All it did was waste a shitload of people's (or folk's) time and all these guys got were misdemeanor charges anyway. Same if they'd called themselves.

No, what we really need is for Mayor Emanuel and the Democrats to keep passing the buck. It's always the fault of someone else. They blame the gun industry, other states with so called lax gun laws, etc. They never blame the liberal social engineering policies that lead up to this mess- Democrats believe too many blacks are in jail so we can't send them to jail. This County is full of people with the so called "non violent offenders". Non violent means multiple convictions for: robbery, armed robbery, auto thefts, burglary, etc. This place never ceases to amaze me. Often times a sentence is given out for six years and they get out in 18 months.

Too many people of colour in Cook County Jail because of that charge. Gives people a life long record too. Toni Preckwinkle wants to make it a ticket, an ordinance complaint. Fine only. Until there are as many white people in Cook County Jail as people of colour.

They want a detective on everything to get charges. We will be a borough of NYC pretty soon. That means we can get the pad running again. The widows and orphans fund. Bag man brings the Captain his cut.
When I leave this city I'm never coming back. I see the day when I warn my kids to never set foot in Chicago. Nice future.
