Once Again, the Unbiased Media

  • A 13-month-old baby in a stroller was struck and killed Saturday by a car that had allegedly fled the scene of a shooting on the city's South Side, police say.

[...] It is unclear whether there was an actual police chase, but investigators say that the vehicle that allegedly struck the child was fleeing the scene of what appears to be a fatal gang-related drive-by shooting three and a half miles away. The driver lost control of the vehicle, which went off the street at 63rd and Ellis around 1:45 p.m. Saturday and onto the curb where Dillan was sitting in his stroller.
Actually, there wasn't any indication whatsoever of a police chase, but you can bet some opportunistic soul is going to swear upon a stack of bibles that he or she might have seen something that looked like a Crown Vic within a mile or so of the crash within an hour or three.

If there is money to be made through a lawsuit, then of course the babies family is going to claim the vehicle that killed the child was fleeing police pursuit.

One of the cousins in the article is quoted as saying that she made eye contact with one of the vehicle occupants and she could tell that they didn't mean to hit and kill the baby. Can you imagine her saying that if it would have been a police vehicle?

Say it isn't so, Media....Go Frown Your-self. Police Chase??? Why don't you make it a Royal Carriage Ride through the Hood for all the difference it makes. A Police Chase it wasn't. Tell it like it was...a bad Guy ducking so the Law didn't get 'em. Some day it will be your turn.

They want SO BADLY to rope The Police in
on this!

"Well damn!
Can't we just sue da Po-Leece anyway?"

We're loving how more and more of these non-Police
involved incidents are piling up...

"Po-Leece talkin' loud on dat blog 'bout protectin' deyself from us
an' shit! Rahm! Make 'em get dey ass back to work!"

Remember this?

"We don't need y'all comin' in tellin' us how to do!"

This bland, unseasoned, non-exciting Policing
is driving m/fers up the wall.

Respond.
Drop a report.
Call for the body-snatchers.
Have CFD do a washdown.
Roll to the next one.

Heh...

"Y'all actin' like y'all don't care about US!"

Well give us a clue as to whodunit?

"Fuck y'all... That's Y'ALL JOB to figure out."
(Actual answer at one of the many Homicide
scenes we've attended.)

Best ever?

M/Fer laid out in the street with a fucking third eye in the
middle of his forehead. The two eyes he was born with were
open but he wasn't seeing a damned thing.

Stink of cordite still in the air.
30 or so stray and random assholes gathered around
looking at The Police real crazy-like.

"Whodunnit?"

30 or so IGNANT M/Fers said:

"Huh?"

>Looks at partner in disbelief - both turn and walk back to car<

"Wait! Where y'all goin'? Ain't y'all gonna do sump'n 'bout dis?"

(Something said along the lines of folding the know but now
very dead POS into a garbage bag and leaving it up on the
train tracks. No worries though. The Police played their part,
a reluctant witness came forth and the offenders subsequently
caught a few days later.)

Real Feel as soon as we walked up and took the scene in?

30 some IGNANT m/fers watching two of their litter mates
boxing over money/dope.

One didn't like the idea that he was getting his ass beat...

Up come dat strap y'all!
>POP!<

Funny shit though.
M/Fers were SALTY because The Police got there before
they could turn ol' boy's pockets out.

A pack.
A 9mm strap.
$1100.00
U.S. Currency.

Yet we have an attitude problem because
our sympathy gland had ceased to function
years before that incident.

"We needs to take ovah CPD!"

For all intent and purposes, you already have.
How's it working out for ya?

Crazy is the new normal...
The Police are the problem?

"Why are you Cops so mean, bitter and full of hatred?
Don't you have rules against being that way?"

We mirror what is projected our way.
From within and outside The Department.

We weren't born this way.

Is it no wonder why that vaunted
Morale Survey is firmly under lock and key?

They won't release it until they can spin it as
some sort of "Police Rebellion," the results are
plausibly that bad.

I was shocked to find one media outlet reported on this incident.

Does it qualify as a "hate crime" since the perps were minorities?

Why are the Reverends silent and not preening for the cameras?

Blame your own people for keeping E. 63rd street blighted! The only new construction buildings are churches and 1 building funded by government and private dollars. South side politicians are to blame! Not the Police!

How hard is it to show that a chase did not occur.

GPS on all vehicles will show the truth. I know media affairs can't log into any computers because they pretend to be police.

Shout out to media affairs for leaking info to the south side Alderman who then ran with info to the media regarding the baby stroller crash! We know it was you because you called the Area begging for info...

On CLTV and WGN today, they spotlighted the head of the Dovetail Project. He's one of Chicago's Very Own. He mentors young black men. During the segment, they showed how black men have died at the hands of the police. He urged black men to behave when they interact with the police . He then told them to remember the officer's star and beat number. They should follow up by going into the station and asking for a sergeant to lodge a complaint. Why didn't he urge them not to interact with the police? Why didn't he tell them that normal people don't interact with the police unless they're crime victims? I liked CLTV because it just gave the news and didn't have the boring, moronic side show that WGN and the other channels have in the morning. I can't watch it any more. It has turned into a fraudulent, liberal, race- baiting broadcast. Our media is no better than Pravda. If you watch CLTV, you'll discover that they hate you and view you as the enemy.

Yes, it absolutely MUST have been a police chase and not the savage, barbaric acts of the black gangsters that caused this. And don't forget to blame the guns too!

We should have a march to end violence. Marching with signs and infantile chants is very effective. it gathers all the unemployed idiots into one place and shows solidarity with the socialist agenda.

Yep, our thirty second reprieve from being crucified by the media has ended. If you can't chase anyone for a homicide who can you chase? Sooner or later the media will begin to analyze foot chases that end in police involved shootings. The community will continue to scratch their heads as to why murders are up and clearances down.

And before the media writes this off as yet another callous lack of regard for the community and that poor little boy's family, you can hear the stress in the voice of the officer who called in the child being hit and asking for an ambulance. I'm sure no one at that scene has slept well since. I'm sure they will remember it for the rest of their lives. The job doesn't go away when you retire, it stays with you forever.

Thanks fuckers! (ABC, CBS, NBC, CLTV, WGN, FOX, TRIBUNE, SUN-TIMES, WBBM ETC ETC)

She would rather die than cast the Police in a passingly
sympathetic light under similar circumstances.
