Casualties Mount
- A 12-year-old boy was shot Saturday night in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood.
About 5 p.m., the boy was shot in the leg in the 8700 block of South Sangamon, police said.
He was taken to Comer Children’s Hospital, where he is in “serious condition but stable” condition, police said.
- A toddler died Saturday after the stroller he was in was hit by a car driven by a suspect fleeing a fatal South Side shooting, police said.
The boy, who was about a year old, was pronounced dead at the University of Chicago Medicine Comer Children's Hospital, said [...], a spokeswoman for the Chicago Police Department. Nearly two dozen relatives and friends huddled in a light rain outside the emergency room at the hospital, crying and exchanging hugs.
A witness at the scene of the crash in the 6300 block of South Ellis Avenue said he saw the car come up on the sidewalk, where a woman was pushing a baby stroller. The car "ran straight over" the stroller, Micah Ocana said.

Look man, don't you know by now that Sharpton and JJ can't make a big splash when an African American commits a crime? They only come out when the Bad Police do something or when a white man is the offender.
The media tried at first to say this was a police involved pursuit, instantly trying to place the blame on the cops even though it wasn't true.

I am one of the so called "two year wonders" you allude to. This "two year wonder" along with his "two year wonder partner" has done more police work than most guys with 15 years on the job. I like working. I like stopping people and making arrests. Give us some slack and no I don't pretend to know everything. If you want to lay down then fine. No, but the Memphis City Council has voted to dig up General Nathan Bedford Forrest and his wife from the graves in which they have slept since 1908. The beautiful bronze monument "will be sold" rather than simply given to the family.

I'm also a 2- year wonder and I can already tell the difference between the bosses that were here and the ones that are here now. I would never ever bring in anything or do anything (other than answer my calls in a timely matter) if it wasn't for VRI. I have no respect for the pencil pusher from 35th and Michigan that came here. I might only have a few years but I sure as hell have more street knowledge than the one telling me what to do on the street. Chance the Bosses, bring in more respectful ones if you want the people in 003 to do proactive work, otherwise fuck off.
