No arrest for whatever reason - at least Anita can't drop them again:
- A Chicago Police officer suffered a broken wrist Friday in a scuffle with protesters.
Police were trying to make way for an ambulance on its way to Northwestern Memorial Hospital when a small group of protesters “engaged police,” according to a CPD statement. One officer was taken to an area hospital with a broken wrist, according to the statement.
The group dispersed immediately and no arrests were made in that incident, police said. The statement did not indicate the precise location of the altercation, and police did not immediately respond to requests for more details.
"Engaged"? Sounds like a battle. And the "protesters" are blocking ambulances to Northwestern? How would those people (or folks) have felt if someone like the former mayor was on his way there?

These are not "protestors" they are criminals. Arrest these assholes please.
Wrists can be tricky to heal. Take your time, listen to your doctor, enjoy your IOD time with your family, especially now with the holidays. Check the tax codes: salary while IOD used to be tax free, don't know if that is still true.
Bosses were giving orders to the officers to let them be, let them get in their faces and don't do anything. Do not say anything!! Do not put your hands on them!! Do not tell them to move back!! They get in your face ignore them!!. So when the supervisors are the ones stopping the police from being the police and take NOOO police action, there is no hope to take the streets back. The supervisors approve the case reports, TRR's and time off, you don't want to upset them. So just be there and let the protesters curse you out, call you all kinds of names, make threats against the police and just don't do anything but watch these people act wild and being reckless creating a hostile environment all over downtown, people running in the middle of the streets harassing drivers passing by, obstructing traffic, laying down on the floor in front of cars trying to get run over and jumping in front of vehicles passing by attempting trying to get hit by a car placing them selves and other people in danger of causing accidents that most likely result in damage to property or bodily harm. In other words this is RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The ambulance should just keep rolling. The duallies should be able to roll over large amounts of human debris.

Well at tonights "protest" in the Viagra triangle the jagoff got into it with a motorist that didn't agree with his agenda so the pos slashed his tires and then got physical with the driver when the driver recorded him with his cell. An RD was pulled for the incident and this little prick is now a wanted offender. How long is the newly shuffled command staff going to let these fucking animals run wild?? If only the motorist had a CC and a mag with 15+1.

They would have felt exactly like the poor bastards on TV the other night surrounded by "protesters" as they tried to drive on a public city street, and what if one of those cars contained a man and his pregnant wife on their to the hospital for the birth of their child. Wel it true is UN-FUCKING BELIEVABLE to me that this was allowed to place at all and it was caught on camera then quickly switched away by the news producer. Threatening someone and causing damage their property is still a crime in Chiraq but I guess if your a "protester" it's allowed

I'm getting sick of seeing the protesters and all the live television coverage. Here's and idea, take away the coverage and they will go away. Demonstrations start around 4pm, just in time to make the evening news.
Lead story was all the demonstrations and farther down the agenda the coverage of the funeral for a fallen firefighter.

OK I understand the soft approach - to a point. But when do the gloves come off. An ambulance is attempting to bring a patient to a Hospital and they block the path. They have to go.
So what happens when someone dies in the ambulance, who gets the blame?

Teachers union is involved more than people know. Maybe the new car 100 will have bigger balls than the old car 100. Last week the locked one of the jag-offs up and after the protesters surrounded the squad car 100 ordered him released. The media should be looking into the group that is providing the signs and people for these marches. At the bottom of the signs is REV.COM/US. Perhaps this website is about blm? simply unable to determine who was actually involved in actions that may have caused her fall. Other than that, I can't
see how anyone wasn't arrested who was directly responsible for the officer's injury.
