No Torches? No Pitchforks?

  • Three people were taken into custody Saturday after a protest in which people threw rocks and other objects at the South Lawndale home of Ald. George Cardenas (12th), according to the West Side alderman and the police.

Cardenas said Saturday night that the protesters were walking down 26th Street in Little Village and decided to walk toward his house, though he doesn’t know why, and started throwing things at his home, the Sun-Times is reporting.
We can think of half-a-dozen reasons to throw rocks at aldercreatures. George isn't thinking hard enough. George was interviewed and started making some really....interesting statements:
  • “My family was startled and scared,” Cardenas said. “That’s not cool. That’s not acceptable. I work very hard to maintain law and order. I am not sure why I was picked.
You know who else's family is scared George? Ours. And the families of every copper we know lately. You want to guess why you asshat?
  • “Once you start throwing objects, that crosses the line,” he said.

He said there wasn’t any major damage to the home, just debris near the windows and objects on the sidewalk.
How about when someone starts throwing punches? Punches recorded on video? Oh, but wait....Anita says there wasn't any "damage" to an actual human being, so charges aren't really warranted. We certainly hope that Anita maintains this level of disinterest for a simple piece of property that got hit by some rocks.

Storms coming, and the politicians want the police around.

Cardenas was insistent on being very clear that this was his EX wife's house. He repeated it several times on the news. What the heck was THAT all about?

The is a huge difference in status and importance, between a high level political leader and patrolman. The political class must be protected. The police are paid to take risks. It goes with the job.

“Once you start throwing objects, that crosses the line,” [Cardenas] said.

Just throw at police. You'll be all good, no one will do or say much of anything.

"Room to destroy" is "good for the city" and will make you a "Gentle Giant."

Boy! I am catching on to all this new stuff fast, huh?

Rahm Antoinette and his court of fifty jesters will regret having pissed on the "thin blue line" that formerly stood between them and anarchy.
We have seen several ideas posted here that work to our advantage. Example: paper avalanche, no revenue production, strict adherence to the General Orders and other directives, strict application of all traffic laws (except 10-1's or other immediate help situations), arrests only on signed complaints, ect. The point is this: they will use you, abuse you and then toss you aside if you let them. If some of the responses on this blog and talk around the Department can be believed we have the ears of at least some of our supervisors. Can we affect some positive change to the current climate? Maybe. Will the worthy citizens of this city stand up and be counted? Maybe. Chiraq will explode if things don't change soon. Be strong, take care of the family (personal and police), make sure we all go home in one piece and, to borrow a well worn phrase, TOGETHER WE CAN!

About time somebody actually took out something against one of the main problems of the city, the Aldermen. Want change? Protest at their homes.

Good!Publish the home addresses for every Alderman, so their constituents can complain in person when the Police Abuse Them. The Alderman is displaying the arrogance that is destroying the Mayor's dreams of national office. The City has turned into a cesspool, and nobody is safe. The Alderman needs to understand that first hand. Yes there is a Residential Picketing Law that was written to protect elected and appointed officials in their homes, but since every other law these days is adjusted for the Masses of Asses, let them picket at residences.

This is exactly what I worry about. I have elderly parents I leave at home while I'm at work. I worry one of the anti-police jackasses will do something while I'm at work, but our families don't matter

Our elite leadership thinks that they are above and beyond any danger from the results if their actions and inactions. They do not realize they are creating a much more chaotic world, and they will not be able control the chaos they have unleashed. They think they can control it...
