Hey SCC, the Lieutenant's job is an administrative spot.
A few people sad to see him go. Hopefully he'll take a couple of them with him. Very large but quiet majority could not be happier. Bye bye asshole.

He was always a nice guy.....but badly flawed in a lot of ways.
Methinks someone is shitting their pants right about now.
Why you wouldn't go in and f***ing retire after seeing the writing on the wall is beyond me.
So is Denis soooo politically connected that everybody else involved is retiring but he gets moved into an admin spot because nothing is really going to happen to him unlike some other people?
Or does that mean he decided to finally tell the truth (i.e. cooperate)?
Unit 606 - Fugitive Task Force.
All the other dicks that chose to remain, are staying in Area North--- HOWEVER: they have been told NOT to sign in on any department computers OR be assigned to any active investigations!

Except that he was reassigned to 606 which is not an administrative spot. They are a field unit just like an Area. Still taking care of the privileged.
Why is this guy not fired? If this was not a blatant example of Obstruction of Justice, what is? Are Daley's flunkies still above the law?
Denis and McGoneBoy were serious pals. Was Mc holding something back and now that he's gone the Koschman fallout begins?
I hope the Detectives are going to be ok on this one. They are both top notch guys who are all for helping the Police.

Walsh and the rest of the supervisors attached to the Koschman scandal should have been forced out as soon
as Dan Webb's report was released. But I guess McCarthy was under political pressure to keep all of them
around, at least for awhile.
He gets his brother's old spot. Not Administrative by any definition. Maybe he will take his little Ricky Schroeder boy toy with him. Maybe he will take Senior mastery gummy Sargento " I am holier than thou" and I disturb crime scenes for a living too. What a triple threat. Well, you are half right...
Walsh dad deputy was in 015 fort forgoten back in the day , we all had clout back the then under the great mayor Washington rip, proud retired Wagoneer man or the real meaning squadroll crew member all rip.
he is a piece of shit (LIEutenant) and any other officer withholding or coctocting info need to be fired.
Why is he not fired? Hope the feds get him soon! Slipping by everything he has done, all the mayhem he has caused who is this goof connected to? was he paid off for hiding files in a murder? Feds please look into this, you want a great CPD cut the head off the snake!
This man is in this shit storm because somebody, who was involved in the first investigation is a coward and after having the investigative file brought it back to the office and placed it on a filing cabinet. When he came to work he saw it there and did the right thing. So get your facts straight. For whatever reason you don’t like the man that s fine. But if you are a whining little brat who is upset because he made you do your job then STFU. He isn’t perfect but he’s done more for policemen then most of you will ever know. Sure is easy to sit behind a computer screen and bash someone. That includes you too SCC. If you have a problem with him you should go and tell him exactly what it is………

Walsh's son loses the University of Chicago scholarship if he leaves the job either by resigning or being terminated. He will fight this until the end.

There are many policemen of all ranks who have done more good for policemen than you will ever know. DW has a history of doing damage to many investigations because his idea of helping a cop was stupid and illegal. DW so badly wanted to be known as another John F. but DW did not have the brains nor class to know how to achieve that respect. Sending DW to 606 as a punishment is just another CPD example of never hurting the bosses or clouted, which is one in the same.
If you have an informed opinion about the man then speak your mind, but leave his kid out of it. My sons went to school with his kids and believe me when I tell you that their academic achievements were well above the curve. You had to be accepted into the university to qualify for the scholarship so congrats to this young man.

How does ones kid qualify for a scholarship like this? A prodigy, luck of the Irish, or a quid pro qou for helping screw up a homicide investigation?
His kid that got the U of Chicago got over a 4.0 in high school, and a 35 on the ACT. McCarthy didn't get him anything. Hes also a senior, and will be done in 5 months.
DW, was Prince when he was in 018 and treated everyone more than fair. Got to know him a little bit and DW was great guy in my book. Hope he likes his new assignment cuz I know he'll treat people there the same way he treated us in 018.

Read the description of what this drunken sop did to a female gas station convenience store clerk in Michigan that resulted in felony charges. He should have been fired then. You or I would have been. Go ahead, google it.
