Three killings overnight has put Chicago on the verge of 100 for the first seven weeks of the year.

How very proud Rahm, Mr. Six and the ACLU must be.

Now not many guys look forward to coming to work. I don't think anyone really wants to work the tact teams and new Detectives are asking to work property crimes right out of the academy.
The tide has turned. The squeaky wheel is winning. The judges don't sentence defendants properly. The parole board lets convicts out as soon as they possibly can and now the CPD leadership and the City Hall has gotten into bed with the ACLU and other liberal activist and basically allowed them to dictate how we police. Deny this all you want, blame it on McCarthy or anybody else but it's the truth. These things happen in cycles and we're entering a cycle where the bad guys have the upper hand. So now we're going to go through a year maybe two even three years where crime spikes and murders are out of control. And eventually someone with common sense will prevail and say we must let the policed their job to stop this violence. Until then officers should be vigilante go to your assigned jobs back each other up and when appropriate make arrests. Sergeants and Lieutenants need to back officers and detectives up. We didn't change the rules 35th street and City Hall did. If you can't see this the. It's time for you to retire.

Did anyone actually read Illinois SB 1304. It sounds to me like it was written by someone who thinks the police are the criminals, phrasing like " implementing policies to end stop and frisk discriminatory practices. and "SB 1304 represents a victory and a first step forward in police reform, but there is still much work to do to implement reforms that are important to our community."" Our community" not 'the community' representing everyone but "OUR COMMUNITY" meaning their community. and "In New York City, this data was a valuable benchmark to demonstrate the unlawful use of the stop and frisk practice." Looks we are all guilty until proven innocent. and the final insult sponsored by Representative Elgie Sims (D-Chicago) and Senator Kwame Raoul (D-Chicago). With significant bi-partisan support, SB 1304 passed the House by a vote of 107-3-4 and advanced out of the Senate by a vote of 45-5-6. " We'are on our own stand together

Just picture 99 murders with 2 follow up detective a piece city wide.
that would be 200 detectives working on 1 murder a piece. Now add every half ass shooting.
Sure Rahm closing the Area was a great idea.

And get new fricking printer already for the Area cheap ass!

Tiny Dancer should use these shootings / stabbings / beatings and/or Murders to get something useful from them. Something that benefits all of Chicago : ...........

----> *** Start a city run & owned Weekly Lottery on the Shootings / Murder tallies*** <----

It'd be pretty easy to set up, so easy that even city employees could manage the task. So no crooked contracts to the 'connected' would be required or bribes to pay to 'outside lottery experts', and the best part -- the city would get to keep all the money. Minus the payouts, naturally.

The profits from the lottery could go solely towards paying into Police Pensions. Which is only fair since it's the police who have to deal with the carnage the knuckle-dragging gangbangers cause.

It's not like the city doesn't need the money. Plus the Nine Digit Midget has stated numerous times that ALL NEW SOURCES of revenue are to be looked at. So why not a Carnage Lottery? After all, as Rahm famously said, "Never let a good crisis go to waste".

And if what's happening now isn't a crisis, then nothing is.

And what's with the asking of recommendation letters for positions applied? What if we want to apply without many people knowing? I don't know, but what if we are wotkers and just not in the "in" click to get a recommendation. As we know, only the selected few, always get the bosses recommendations. I just don't feel comfortable with having to ask for recommendations. The bosses don't really are that nice to the lower ranks. We can't get the bosses to do honorable mentions to have them give us recommendation letters. Not everyone gets a fair chance in this department.

Boorish local police officers, simply put, you were getting in the way. In order to usher in marshal law and abolish the 2nd amendment, it is imperative chaos and violence rule the streets. That is why we release, import, and empower violent criminals under the guise of compassion and civil rights. That is why we use the media to slander you. Yet you stubbornly persist. Enter the ACLU to paralyze you. "Protect and serve" at the risk of your own liberty. You are merely an ignorant, antiquated tool of the old system and will be cast aside for the new world. A new world were a highly educated, open-minded, and compassionate multinational police force is there for the needs of all who accept the light.

ACLU spokesman response to stops in NY City being down 90% was "it's great the stops were illegal". His response to correlation to the rise in crime was " it does not matter the stops were illegal the police should do there job within the confines of the law". While that is true on the face of it short of having an ACLU lawyer with you during the stop your screwed. The logical conclusion is no matter how the form may be revised you will be unable to comply with the ACLU guidelines which are devised to be a no win scenario for officers. The unfortunate conclusion is abandon your impulse to do proactive police work or suffer the consequences.

In 1992 the police department started a hiring blitz that actually brought up the department 13,500 police officers in strength. You had summer mobile, three wagons per district, SOS, rapid cars, an extra gang team per district was implemented, fully staffed detective division, and CAPS was implemented. All of these factors contributed to going from over 900 homicides to under 400 yearly. Now the department is going backwards, your lucky if you have one wagon up per districts, no specialized reactionary unit, a decimated dectevive division (running on skin and bones), 23 districts instead of 25, 3 Areas instead of 5, old and beat up equipment, the entire command staff are all meritorious hacks, ISR's, DOJ investigation, and a mayor who only cares about himself and making his friends richer. I see 900 homicides being the norm again until what was done in 1992 is repeated.

Yes, all coppers should already be aware that a Google search of their name, etc and will return a lot of information online, address, phone, family names, etc. Be very careful with giving anyone your name, especially, (any such receipt)which basically you just gave one of the scumbags on the street, the keys to your home.

Very Important **** but OT***
For the false narrative that keeps being used to promulgate these issues from BLM, Other Organizations, the President, The DOJ etc...they keep making these racist inferences and citing fact to premise their narrative. I have a liberal friend who I always argue with and, for years, told him to look at other statistics to gain a better understanding of the truth. Last week he sent me an unbelievable (believable) article that his child sent from college as they argued certain truths.

I sent this link before but did not see it posted. If the facts are not true, please advise.

*************Google AIM.ORG "Black crime against Whites White Guilt*************

The author painstakingly references factual data to show that the Left's Narrative is disingenuous at best and outright known lies more likely. Some of the other cited material seems to show how America is slated to be CHANGED... you know..."How's that Hopey Changey Stuff working out for ya?"

Anyway... the article factually shows some truths of what we are already aware of. STUDY IT STUDY IT STUDY IT...Be prepared to speak freely.

Projected 600 murders in Chicago this year.
A 25% clear up rate projects to 150 solved and 450 unsolved. We could do our own version of the tv show "How to Get Away With Murder". Produced by Tiny Dancer.

2/25/2016 10:31:00 AM

If you work, they know who you are and will write one for you. Also, if you were thinking this is fair, you should probably resign yourself to being miserable for a while, until you realize life is NOT fair. When you recognize that you have to be much better than the connected people just to get looked at, you may have a chance. Don't expect to be given anything and decide for yourself that you will work hard to take what you want from the connected ones.

From POLIE MAGAZINE on-line

"VIRGINIA BILL SEEKS TO KEEP OFFICER'S NAMES SECRET

It started with a reporter’s attempt to learn whether problem police officers were moving from department to department. It resulted in legislation that is again bringing national scrutiny to the Virginia General Assembly: a bill that could keep all Virginia police officers’ names secret.

In a climate where the actions of police nationwide are being watched as never before, supporters say the bill is needed to keep officers safe from people who may harass or harm them. But the effort has drawn the attention of civil rights groups and others who say police should be moving toward more transparency — not less — to ensure that troubled officers are found and removed.

If it is made law, experts say the restriction would be unprecedented nationwide, the Washington Post reports.

The Virginia Senate has already approved Senate Bill 552, which would classify the names of all police officers and fire marshals as “personnel records,” exempting them from mandatory disclosure under the state’s freedom of information law. The Republican-dominated Virginia House will consider the bill in hearings starting Thursday. Gov. Terry McAuliffe (D) has not taken a position on the bill yet, his spokesman said. "

Wow, this makes a lot of sense. Not that any law would stop a hacktavist on a mission.

What part of ""Call our intake department at (312) 201-9740 x 301."" do you think they are having a problem understanding?

Nobody is "fetal" so please stop using that little pricks word. We are simply giving it to them 100% on the legit and if you aren't then you are a hopeless fool. There were 943 homicides in 1992. So this is still better. Perspective is a good thing sometimes. Just sayin.
2/25/2016 09:22:00 AM

You do realize that 1992 is a year shy of a quarter of a century ago and that there are now officers on the job that weren't even alive then. Medical technology as you might imagine has made significant gains in that time too. Many gunshot victims that would have died in 1992 survive a similar wound today due to the differences in medical care that 24 years provides. So in other words, comparing homicide numbers in the year 2016 to the year 1992 is pretty irrelevant and silly.
