Once again, selective outrage over common sense. A cop has been charged (over charged most likely) with a crime. He is suspended without pay. His wife had to shut down her business because of threats to her safety and her clients. So a two-income household has gone to a zero-income household.
So what's supposed to happen? She leaves her husband to save herself? Not really what a marriage is built on. Two able bodied people go on welfare? We suppose that's acceptable in certain communities, but most people have more pride than that.

All the TV crews were there, but the protesters weren't except for a few. They had to wait til later to get a respectable crowd (for TV).

Ok, here it goes. I'm a 20 year veteran of the CPD and I work in the 12th district. I need every Catholic Chicago Police officer to help me lead the charge against pfleger. My plan is to get him removed from St Sabina. As we all know since we were children our favorite priests have been removed from our parishes. My plan is to log all the money that Chicago Police officers donate to the Catholic Church by means of school tuition as well as their contributions to the church. We will then present that very,very,large $$$ number to the archdiocese and demand that pfleger be removed from his Parrish. Money talks and if this first step does not work my plan is to gather all the officers and their families to plan a march around the Cardinals house located at Dearborn and North Ave. SCC I would love be your input into taking this to the next level. Thank you and God bless all my brothers and sisters in the Chicago Police Department, it's time to stand up for ourselves and stop this nonsense. We can make this plan work if we work together and stand for what we believe in.

Guess what folks, the Archdiocese does not want to hear about the priest..in other-wise, they are on his side.
Pfleger's people should read this scripture that warns against people like him: Romans.16.17-18.GNB "I urge you, my brothers and sisters: watch out for those who cause divisions and upset people's faith and go against the teaching which you have received. Keep away from them! For those who do such things are not serving Christ our Lord, but their own appetites. By their fine words and flattering speech they deceive innocent people."

Sent my kids to catholic school, found out though that many other kids were "subsidized" so i work 3 jobs and I pay for people that pay nothing! When you go to Walmart and say buy a loaf of bread and you get to register and say "let the guy behind me pay for it, I feel oppesed and don't want to pay" what happens? Correct you cannot get the bread.

I have sent numerous emails to the Archdiocese and I have also called and left messages but have to date never received a response. Recently,I began emailing my own parish and forwarding his posts to them so that they can see first hand what Pflger preaches. I have even told them that many are beginning to withhold support for the local parishes and personally I am amazed that the church can afford to alienate to many of us. I also told them that many Catholic parishes and schools are supported by police officers and firemen to pay tuition and do not rely on Big Shoulders to foot the bill. No one seems to care !
How coincidental. Just had a conversation here about the lack of Catholic charity & love & compassion, given by Pfleger (I refuse to call him Father) to Van Dyke, and some of us took to the web to voice our discontent to Archbishop Cupich. I hope more do.

I have written to the bishop 4 times about Faker Flegher and not even ONE response. No longer do they receive money from me. I do contribute to the Police Memorial group and I am not a first responder.

Several weeks ago my door bell rang and I looked and observed 2 Elderly women at the door. I decided to answer it and see what they were selling. They invited me to attend one an open house at their church St $%^&* and meet the staff, priest and pastor. I informed them that I no longer give any funds to the catholic archdiocese as long as fr flakey is a member. They told me his is a good man. I told hem no, he is a racists and promotes violence thru the church. I asked them what other priest gets driven around in a new Escalade and spends money lavishly at Carson's and Macys. I told them to have a nice day and closed the door. A few days later I saw them standing out by the area church in their nun habits. Oh well, I would say it to them again and the cardinal.

It is Blasé who has to yank Faker out of his parish and reassign him as all other parish priests are eventually moved. If we, as CPD Catholics, go to Sabina we will only create a shit storm which the media will spin to aid Faker. And honestly, how many of us would bring our family to Sabina when the Cardinal's residence is in a safe neighborhood? Don't waste time at the Faker's hate house - go to the mansion and take a few Faker dollars to give to Blasé.

Since when does the public get a vote or say in the affairs of FOP. which Jason happens to be a member. I certainly hope that the race baiting head of Sabina, doesn't employ anyone convicted of a felony let alone been accused of one. As a matter of fact, He should lead by example and not allow any convicted felon, or person under indictment and or suspicion of wrong doing in or on the church premises. No criminal violent affilated gang members, either. Sunday service is gonna be a lot smaller but he can lead by example.
Scc, can you get An online petition set up so we can sign electronically in order to get phlakey tossed out of st. Sabinas and/or the archdiocese of Chicago ??? This could send a clear message to rid this fraud once and for all

Someone should remind Father Faker that Catholic Charities here in Chicago employees hundreds of ex-offenders. According to the web site, they even have 125 of them making children's meals!

Ok. That's great to help a copper. N his family but Where's my help off payroll since 3FEB no income no insurance suspended pending board decis>on to terminate. After 22 yrs service 59 yrs old raising a 16 yr old daughter living currently on retirement money was going to retire in AUGUST to get free medical. All this from a medical beef rule violation of running family business while on medical. So wheres. My job n. My help

For those not paying attention , Blase doesn't live in the mansion it's to opulent for his socialistic leanings. He actually lives at Holy Name 730 N Walbash.........Check it out
Can't protest in front of the church can't get in his face cause you know it will be on video, however anybody working can address the "safety" issues of illegal parking and the non-parishioners being inconvenienced by the illegal parkers. Can't fill up the sidewalks and fire lanes it's not "safe" and "emergency first-responders" won't have access in the event somebody has a medical emergency ............

"Pope Francis has already made headlines for choosing a five-year-old Ford Focus as his preferred papal transportation, part of a public emphasis on thrift and poverty. But last weekend, the pontiff expanded his garage with the addition of a 29-year-old sedan with 186,000 miles as his personal car.
"According to the Catholic News Agency and others, the car, a 1984 Renault 4, was donated to the pope by Italian pastor Renzo Zocca. Zocca had written Pope Francis earlier this year, offering to donate the car which Zocca had used for decades while working in impoverished neighborhoods of Verona, as a symbol of their shared concern for fighting poverty. A month ago, Francis called Zocca and asked why he didn't just donate the car to someone else who needed it. “I answered that this car had already given much to the poor and now it had to go to the pope," Zocca said.
"On Saturday, Zocca and about 100 well-wishers delivered the Renault 4 — after a tune-up to an engine that made 34 hp on a good day — to Pope Francis, who took the keys and climbed behind the wheel, telling Zocca he had driven the same model while living in Argentina and "it had never let him down.”
