He actually did see it coming. Pause the video at the 23 sec mark, That black car drops the shooter off. the victim see's this either out of the corner of his eye or from the camera and, well, boom boom boom. The shooter you see after the phone is dropped is supposedly a friend of the victim shooting back at the attackers.
What is disturbing is that guessing from what he is saying in the video, this guy obviously was confronted earlier that day. Maybe minutes earlier. He didn't decide to go in the house (or the store), he stands on the corner and decides to kind of subliminally taunt his rivals live on Facebook. Then, as he's struggling for breath, it sounds like he garbled "can't go out like that". Well, you did buddy.
I'd be lying if I said this video didn't disturb me a little. And I grew up on the west side throughout the 80s & 90s. If this guy lives I hope he sees how stupid he looks at 31 years old, and gets his shit together.

Looks to me like the guy shooting on video at the end is the victims friend returning fire.
At about 23 seconds you can see a black car stopped behind him, and when he turns back to face the car is when he gets shot.
Then when the guy on video runs up, he's shooting in the direction of the car as it drives away.
Looks like the block security was a little slow today......
