Garry's E-Mail Reveals What?
- A Cook County judge, ruling Wednesday in a lawsuit by the Chicago Tribune, ordered the Chicago Police Department to give the news organization emails from former Superintendent Garry McCarthy's account under state open records laws.
Circuit Judge Kathleen Pantle's order came after Police Department lawyers failed to appear at a hearing in the case and did not file any responses in court.
The Tribune filed a lawsuit March 23, alleging that the department violated open records laws by failing to produce emails requested under the Freedom of Information Act. Tribune reporter Stacy St. Clair made a FOIA request to the Police Department on Jan. 5 seeking "all email sent by, received by or copied to Garry McCarthy's email account" from the month of December.
Pantle ruled that the department must produce the emails by 5 p.m. Monday.
So, any guesses? Something about "merit" picks? Maybe having Rahm and other aldercreatures view a certain video before Rahm decided to suppress it for fourteen months? Or how about Rahm's swearing on a stack of construction contracts that he had Garry's back, mere hours before he tossed him under the bus?

Hey, this is Chicago, what did you expect to happen concerning corruption and secret deals? And after all is said and done, nothing will change in Chicago. Because in Chicago it is okay to deal from the bottom of the deck, have secret contract deals, create meaningless jobs for crony friends and relatives, have corrupt police department brass who give answers for promotional tests to friends and relatives, and just cover up shit that is not politically correct. It's the Chicago Way.
If only the emails of Shortshanks and Twinkletoes were made available would the layers of the onion lay bare to a rotten core of corruption.
Remember when someone posted that, though fired, Garrrrry still had keys to his CPD office and he spent nearly a month locked in that office every day? Gee, maybe that FOIA request should be amended to include all deleted emails and materials from that time frame.

Rule 14 is never administered correctly in this Department. And if some poor guy does get a rule 14 allegation the Department takes years to do the case and lose it at the Police Board. Waste of time or selective punishment?
This new Chief/Boss Kirkpatrick has stated that "If you lie, You Die" to her former officers. I will bet money if someone dropped a case of Rule 14 on her desk now it would disappear like the Koschmen murder case reports.

Due Process is forced on all Officers but the same officers get no Due process.

If there is a thin blue line it almost certainly starts at the 5th floor. Perhaps he has his own line, such as a brown line for all the shit he does. Do you really need a list? It's kind of obvious who they are wouldn't ya say.
Maybe Garry's emails will be almost completely redacted as that asshole Rahm's were.
Does anyone really believe, knowing Rahms controlling personality, that he never saw the video? Please. Anyone watching how he operates knows the answer. All the CPD command staff saw it and then some, so how can anyone believe he is the only one who didn't? Don't get fooled.

if you give your personal cell numbers to any white shirt and they call you regarding ANY type of case related to work guess what?
Anyone can FOIA your phone record for the shift. The whole shift and text.
Don't think your sergeant will keep your phone number secret.
So do not use your cell for any activity while working! They will throw you under the bus and will give in writing all the numbers they called when the City request them in a lawsuit.

You must be one of the people who believed the campaign commercial. You mistakenly thought Rahm wearing a blue fuzzy sweater meant Rahm had morphed into a soft, fuzzy person.
