Vigil Coverage
Surprisingly, the media covered it:
- (Tribune) A few dozen police officers and family members gathered for a short prayer vigil Sunday morning for a Chicago police officer shot Thursday night, as well as for several law enforcement officers shot and killed nationwide in recent weeks.
The Chicago officer, who was assigned to bike patrol, was shot in the leg in an exchange of gunfire with a 50-year-old man in Battle of Fort Dearborn Park in the Prairie Avenue District neighborhood.

And you didn't even have to break any windows?
Lots of similar small demonstrations in support of the police across the nation.
But BLM is getting paid to show up and protest everyday. Soros money pays well.
The Battle of Dearborn Park? Seriously?
Very nice thanks to all that came out!
I also saw it on 2 different tv news stations last night.
They covered it but right before that segment on the news was a story about BLM activists honoring a thug who was shot and killed by CPD before the McDonald one. By every indication, including video, the thug was running from police with a gun in his hand. When he turned towards police he was shot and killed.
Now BLM was "honoring" this fine element of society and demanding that a segment of the park be named in his "honor"
Alvarez, IPRA, .... everyone classified this as a good shoot yet BLM sees it differently.
The media, in their constant anti police mode, reports this slanted story right BEFORE they cover the police vigil.
O.K. I admit it. I will listen to WBEZ in order to find out what the sheeple are being fed. They are reporting that the police union is calling for a job action by the rank and file by not submitting to the offered overtime.
The truth leaks out once in a while.

Um telling people not to work OT really isn't a job action.
But with the media's constant anti police agenda I guess that's the only slant they could put on it.
God forbid they tell the whole story.
May St. Michael protect all the great men and women who wear blue across our nation...Just remember the majority are on our side!
To the female officer from Lincolnwood P.D who wrote my father this morning, Thank You for the professional courtesy, You are a class act!!!
