Again with the Bats?

This registered, but it didn't register....if you know what we mean.

The post the other day titled "Another Delayed" was about a west side homicide that started in 011, ended in 015 and the victim died in 010. We read this, but it didn't click at first:
  • The two men were hit with bats and fists, but they managed to get away to the 4800 block of West Quincy Street, where they called 911.
So a bat is a deadly weapon? Again? Something the "community," certain activists and not a few lawyers have been claiming couldn't possibly be true in some previous police shootings.

Damn that reality!

In midevil times a bat was used, but they called it a two hand battle club. Sometimes with spikes and sometimes without. It is a super deadly weapon. I saw many a victims and heard the doctors talk of life long problems for the victims. But what do I know.

I'm counting down the time when I'm out of this God forsaken place.

Every month I hear of someone getting killed from getting hit with one punch. No weapon, just a fist to the head.

Damned right a bat is a deadly weapon.

Anyone that thinks a ball bat is not a deadly weapon needs to get hit with one upside the head really hard. IF, they ever wake up from the experience, we can discuss it. We are living in an open air insane asylum.

Ask the CFD paramedic who was ducking a guy swinging a bat last night at Springfield & Grenshaw.

This.

And if anyone would notice, the "urbanites" are real quick
to reach for a gun... Permanent solution to temporary problems
but that falls into the realm of impulse control.

That is something FATHERS teach...

The "urbanites" are deathly afraid of REAL eyeball to eyeball
encounters with men skilled in real and lethal hand-to-hand combat.

We were always a proponent of Policemen being
dangerous in the extreme.

Joint-crushing.
Limb manipulation/breaking.
Pressure-Points.
Submission holds.
Strangulation.

All should be on the table for Policemen to use.

It is utter insanity for Policemen to be told
that "taking a punch" is part of their job.

Bats? Who needs 'em? Just use your teeth.

'It absolutely could be a flakka case': Police suspect 'normal' teen took zombie drug before storming out of restaurant dinner with his parents to kill and face maul random married couple sitting at home

* Austin Harrouff allegedly stabbed Michelle and John Stevens to death
* Earlier that evening, Harrouff was out at a a sports bar with his parents, but got agitated and stormed off, prompting them to call police
* Harrouff was found on top of John, biting the flesh off his face, before a stun gun, four police and a K-9 were used to pull him off
* Harrouff also allegedly stabbed Stevens' neighbor, Jeff Fisher
* Fisher heard screams, rushed over to help, and gasped for air during 911 call where he told dispatcher he was 'bleeding profusely'
* The 19-year-old Florida State University student was a former high school football player and wrestler, described by police as 'abnormally strong'
* Sheriff believes Harrouff could have been on flakka, a synthetic drug that causes hallucinations, psychosis, and 'superhuman' strength
* Harrouff may have ingested something causing 'intestinal problems' and may not survive after being sedated and intubated in hospital

Stock up now. That Emerald Ash Borer bug is really making inroads into the ash trees. May not be any available ash stock to turn these up from pretty soon.

If a bat can smash open a Mexican made piñata it can bash open a head. Saw someone once break their hand trying to break open the piñata with a baseball bat, it wouldn't budge. I have a Greek neighbor that brings his bat with him when he goes for a walk with his wife. He says it is in case of a dog attack. This guy would not hesitate.

Lawyers and activists are saying bats are not deadly weapons? Maybe one of them will volunteer to demonstrate? I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to find a Police Officer willing to swing the bat!
Lawyers might be able to explain the phrase "shit for brains" after seeing the "volunteer" clobbered, maybe?
