More Third World Crap
- A worker found what was believed to be a human head Friday morning in a bag in the McKinley Park Lagoon, leading to the discovery of other body parts in the lagoon, officials said.
Police were called to the lagoon, 2210 W. Pershing Road, about 10 a.m., after someone working at the lagoon found what were appeared to be human remains in the lagoon, said [...] a police spokeswoman. Area Central detectives were conducting a death investigation.
Police News Affairs would not detail what was found, but officals [sic] said what was believed to be a person's head was found in a bag. It was not known if the head was that of a man or a woman, a source said.
So now....
- the Marine Unit gets some more practice searching for the rest of the body,
- the K9's get to practice cadaver sniffs,
- the city engineers get to practice draining another lagoon, a la Garfield Park last year,
- the Detective Division gets to open yet another "death investigation"
How soon until they get around to draining that other lagoon? Where the shooter drew a map to the location of yet another dead body? Oh yeah - that one is just classified as a "missing" and McCompStat wasn't looking for extra bodies for that year.

Reminds me of a job I had back in the late 90s. Some gardeners opened a sewer cover to fix a drainage problem in what is now Magie Daley Park. What they found in the sewer was the body of a guy that had been missing for 5 years. Needless to say that after five years in the sewer getting the guy out in one piece was not possible. Single bullet hole in the back of the skull. The more things change the more they stay the same.
No one can hold a candle to Gacy or Dahmer. This is simply a small time killer sewing his oats.
Here is another "pattern" to ponder. Have you noticed how many bodies are coming up dead inside burning vehicles? One in 012 yesterday. And the one in 010, I believe a couple weeks ago. I think there have been 3-4 now. That almost cartel type shit like that murdering Zeta crew a few years back. And I'll bet that all these arson murders are just death investigations still.
Where is Walsh when we need him to keep down the stats? He could have made this a suicide or accidental, possibly a drowning.The body just fell apart in the water! All these bodies burning to a crisp started to pop up at the same time George Hamilton began to portray the Extra Crispy Colonel Sanders in commercials. I think there is a direct link. I should be promoted to meritorious detective.
Grew up in McKinley Park area. Me and my brothers used to go fishing with our bamboo poles in that lagoon. Used to catch nothing but bullheads and carp, but it was fishing. So watch has Changed??? Just throw them back in like we used to do!!

The city has gone from a Detective Divison Chief that couldn't get enough TV time to a chief that may not know she got promoted- Come to work Staples and see what's happening in the field. Hiding at HQ doesn't count as being engaged with the violence in the city.
No doubt the various lagoons in city parks cover up many secrets.
In news footage coppers were seen on their cell phones..... are those phones now subject to search and seizure?
Or is that only the case when BLM members are accusing the police of bullshit?

Hi People -Missy here, I bet some of you people missed me, I was off for 18 months cause of a bad case of Boils, I lost 98 pounds and am down to 170 now. That weight used to keep me warm when I was a parking ticket guru. Now I just sit all day after coming back to work answering phone for a Dep. Chief of Detectives, Nippers, I never she this person I answer the phone for and someone told me to just say he/or she is gone for day. No one told me the bosses name.
I think, and it never rings. I do keep busy talking to my best girl friend Amber, she was close to Supt McCarthy and drove him around when he could not drive himself go to licenses establishments looking for illegal stuff, so Amber says people ! I thought McCarthy was a nice man and he always gave me a funny look when I seen him at headquarters, You think he liked me.
I think after my plastic surgeon fills the pock holes in my face, I might go back to work as a Sgt in 001. I been taking so much med' I don't know if this is the old SCC, Amber said there is one great SCC and he lives in the mountains some where in Kosovo.
