How's the Dog???
Someone got shot in "West" Englewood - no surprise there. But a dog caught a round, too:
- A man and a dog were shot Sunday afternoon in the West Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.
The 23-year-old man was in the 1500 block of West Marquette at 12:35 p.m. when a group of males ran through a nearby gangway and one of the males opened fire, according to Chicago Police.
The man was shot in the buttocks and thigh and taken in good condition to Stroger Hospital, police said.
The dog was also struck in the leg in the bullet.
Word is the "gangster dog-ciples" are suspected in the shooting and additional gun play may be expected in areas frequented by the "new breed pups" which the victim has an association with.

Don't be fooled into sympathy, dog had a rap sheet full of stolen treats and was allegedly barking back at the shooter.

I heard the dog was a better witness than the thug who was shot. Hope they catch the person who did this, the scum who would shoot an unarmed dog should be hung.
