A Load of Bull
- There was an unusual candlelight memorial Wednesday night in front of a slaughterhouse in Queens.
They're remembering the bull who escaped certain death Tuesday and took over the streets.
Cops couldn't exactly get him to heel so they shot him with tranquilizers and he died.
The people at the vigil wonder if the bull could have been saved.
"No one deserves cruelty, abuse, torture or murder," a protester said.
Pardon our confusion.....escaping certain death.....the bull dies anyway? What's the issue? It escaped from a slaughterhouse. At least he died high as a kite from all the tranquilizers. We heard the Animal Control people might have utilized some fetanyl to boost the lethality of the darts.

It reminds me of the animal rights Chicagoans who were angry that the police shot a cougar that was loose in Roscoe Village. Even Dumbbell Daley understood that a wild animal is not the same as a house cat.

I remember some crazy liberals that were all offended when CPD shot that mountain lion or cougar a few years back. Hello ? Its a cougar in the city snatching up pets. Now I see people letting their dogs play with coyotes on the lake front ? I don't know whats going on now days with people and their priorities.

Young man in Virginia, I believe, plugged at least a 550-pounder in his back yard. Thing was charging him --- and there were kids in the house right behind him.

Chicago Casino Bill Passes the Senate!
The Lodge has recently been experiencing an influx of phone calls questioning the likelihood or even the existence of a Chicago Casino Bill. In order to respond to our Members' 'inquiring minds' and to also address the inaccuracies that are surfacing as of late; the Chicago Casino Bill (SB 0007) is not only very real, it passed out the Illinois Senate on February 28, 2017!
Shortly before the Bill was called for a vote; the chief sponsor, Senator Terry Link stated: "[some ask] why we give general revenue funds to the city of Chicago to pay for their Police and Fire pensions? Well, guess what? Pass this Bill [and you] won't have to worry about that in the future. For all who continue to ask how will we pay [Chicago Police and Fire] pension benefits; vote for [this Chicago Casino Bill] SB 0007, for that is exactly what it does."
Another large shout out must go to Chicago Lodge 7 lobbyists Andy Raucci and Dave Sullivan for their continued professionalism and expertise on behalf of our Membership. The next step is to send the Chicago Casino Bill to the Illinois House of Representatives.
