Good Idea

Here's a good idea from the comments:
  • "Day without an Immigrant," "Day without a Woman" - where's the "Day without a Cop"?
FOP, start working on this.

Well, this woman was working hard, wearing nothing red, being responsible and making a difference today.
I've already butted my head on the glass ceiling and gone through it thanks to the quality of my work and sheer determination. (It sure wasn't going to happen by taking random days off to wear asinine pink hats and blindly follow a directionless herd.)
Today was supposed to be a day to honor women's accomplishments and it was turned into a circus.

Or "day without the FOP". Oh wait we have experienced that for the last three years of Disability Dean in office. Please vote this con out. He is a disgrace to officers that are legitimately disabled.

I recently got an eye opening slap in the face that showed me just how much we've been kicked to the curb by this administration, both the city and apparently the FOP. I am spending three months in Florida with my family and recently had the unfortunate opportunity to call 911 for an ambulance due to an early morning life threatening medical emergency. The fire department ambulance responded and agreed that it was a life threatening situation and promptly transported the patient to the emergency room where she was stabilized. Fortunately everything turned out alright, at least until I received the bill from Blue Cross. The ambulance bill was $1045.00 and BC/BS says I owe the entire amount. I checked the Benefits Booklet provided to us by the city and it shows that my portion of an ambulance would be 10% of the PPO rate, $104.50. After a series of phone calls to Benefits Management (totally useless and incompetent) and BC/BS, I was informed that the ambulance service was not in network and therefore covered under the tier 3 provisions. The tier thee provisions require a $1500.00 deductible be paid before any benefits kick in and that the deductibles I have already paid do not apply to the tier 3 services and are treated separately. Now, everything else down here is treated as a tier one, hospital, emergency room, tests, doctors and covered as such. All are in network. But the fire department ambulance ,used in a true emergency to get to the hospital is not covered. What does the network for fire department ambulances cover? Only the City of Chicago? Some suburbs? The state of Illinois? Who knows? No one can give me an answer. Thanks City of Chicago...and how did the FOP allow this to happen?

The entire country is off it's axis spinning endlessly into oblivion! These democratic ideals are nothing more than a totally laughable smoke screen to try and embarrass the best President we will ever have which is President Trump who has been creating hundreds of thousands of jobs, and is entirely pro-police. we are waiting until he finally gives the order after AG Sessions are all trained to come into this corrupt city-state-county and decimate the criminal enterprises. They have billions in new taxes in the past decade we had an explosion in cell phones, cable TV, excessive taxes on energy, water and everything else sky high and the democrats are still grasping for more blood, guess the blood all over Chicago streets is not enough! Where does all that money go? drive around the state county city totally falling apart infrastructure, police dept CPD still driving unsafe paint falling off vehicles, the jalopies at the derby look better and probably are safer, the police stations are in disrepair how many coppers have gotten cancers from this pathetically moldy, and asbestos causing materials? I worked in the old 008th district 3515 west 63rd street many coppers from that era contracted cancers and many sorry to say have died!

look at the shoddy construction methods look at the crown jewel headquarters 35th street:
*floors tilted had to put shims under desks to keep drawers from magically opening.
*The "pool" by rear entrance every time it rains janitors with squeegees pushing water from the doors
*Dock doors so unaligned wind passes right through
*Plumbing toilets always covered in plastic
*Showers were leaking into medical section from 2nd floor locker room
*Gym weights replaced from round to hexagon so they don't roll across floor.

If this is at the crown jewel imagine what the districts and areas deal with? 111th street look at it enough said!

Who is the CEO of Chicago?

How about a year without elected thieves in Chicago crook county and state of criminality Illinois! Today page 14 Chicago sun-times article on Chicago police pension fund at 25% funded the lowest funding of any city in the country yet we have the gold braid people basically stealing huge pensions, like fire did eliminated the gold braid saving 10's of millions while our fund has not stopped the pension grab! Even the mayors made guys security so called specialist are all patrolman every last 1 but wil get minimum sergeant pension up to commanders monumental pension payments never taking a test complete politics. Not jealous but why is fire top pension civil service rank which is lieutenant but yet many 6 figure pensions why is this allowed! Hope the Feds look into the friends and family loan and loss program who gave permission and signed off for the 60 million for daleys family failed investments?

So the hard working street coppers who busted their asses will be sol eventually as the pigs get fatter? Dishonest media hello extremely low hanging fruit any good investigative reporter not being forced to bow down to city hall? Crickets!

How bout being a pioneer and enter physics and get a doctorate in it. The rest is just snowflake bull shit. Screams, shouts and tantrums, instead of hard long nights at the library studying for quantum mechanics and diffEQ, while my immigrant parents worked and saved for a little 100 here and there for our textbooks.

Why the f@ck did you not sign up for Aetna? All you retired guys are paying Raham a 467 commission each and every month.

Good on you Pilsen Girl...
You get it.

The older, REAL female relatives have said plenty about
entitled, crazy females and the stunts they pull.

They counseled the younger women accordingly:

Don't have a bunch of females in your business.
Don't have a bunch of female friends.
Don't let your mouth write big checks your ass
can't cover, that way you won't need to play
that obnoxious "But I'm a GUURRLL" card.

Great-Granny (b. 1900) was the main one.
The best-est and baddest woman that walked this Earth.
Her husband was killed, ("He made real good whiskey")
she raised three kids, worked a farm and ran off
all so called suitors with a shotgun
and a "Army Revolver."

"Whoever he was, he tore my corn up
running through it after I shot through the door..."

(The woman didn't take kindly to bullshit.
But Good Lord was she Love and Kindness
personified)

And she was REKNOWN for not being afraid
to use them either.

She'd be beside herself had she lived to
see the foolishness, nastiness and pussy-hattery
passing for dialog or even agreeing to disagree.

Good and decent people are good and decent people.

They come in different wrappers but the soft
and chewy center is all the same.

Clear plastic is high class.
You really haven't lived unless you've walked into
An ethnic living room from late 60s/early 70s with
Covered lampshades, couch, pillows.
Martha Stewart would turn up her nose, but for a
Working class family in a steel mill city with polluted air,
This was really up there.

If you are retired or working CPD per our contract you don't have to pay the ambulance bill, just submit to Department of Finance, ask for a form from your watch commander to submit to Department of Finance with the ambulance bill.
