Tempting Fate....Again

The Sun Times has continued playing with fire, now claiming it might be eight days without a fatal shooting:
  • Chicago could be nearing eight days without a fatal shooting for the first time in more than four years.

A man was found shot to death Saturday afternoon in a vacant lot in the West Side Austin neighborhood, but it was not clear when the shooting actually happened.

Officers responded at 12:23 p.m. Saturday to a call of a person lying face down in a vacant lot in the 5400 block of West Ohio and found Antoine D. Watkins dead, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office. Police said Watkins was 32, while the medical examiner’s office listed his age as 22.

An autopsy Sunday found Watkins, who lived about a block away from the crime scene, died of multiple gunshot wounds and his death was ruled a homicide, according to the medical examiner’s office.

But it was not clear when the shooting happened, and it appeared the body had been in the lot for quite awhile, according to a police source. Watkins was last seen Feb. 3 and had been reported missing Feb. 8. Area North detectives are investigating.
So what if, with the warm weather, the ME declares he died five days ago? Then Chicago didn't actually go eight days. Chicago went three days, and today it's five. And if the lady in the garbage can is found to have any amount of high speed lead projectiles in her body, then it's back down to two days.

You see how foolish this is?

Here's the reality - for all of 2017, Chicago is down nine total homicides - and that's with a couple "death investigations" on the board and another four or five on life support awaiting a final determination by The Man upstairs. Nine homicides is a bad weekend, and there are plenty of those on tap once the weather warms up. How about the media stop with the "days without a homicide" and start a "jobs being moved into Chicago" or "number of days a CVS stayed open in Garfield Park" or even "how many days is Whole Foods going to stick around Englewood"?

If South Shore could not hold the Dominick's at 71st & Jeffrey, how can Englewood hope to support a Whole Foods?

Englewood's population is off roughly, what, 2/3s from its historic peak, when the people who built the neighborhood still lived there.

Well it looks like homicides resulting from firearms is under control, dwindling. No need to hire more cops. Never mind all the people shot in the same period.

And they also need to acknowledge that ever evolving medical technology is the primary reason these shot multiple times motherfuckers aren't checking out like they used to.

Just more smoke & mirrors laid out by the faithful media whores at the direction of their Manling Northshore Pimp Mayor and perpetuated by the litany of Fort Fellatio Kool-Aide guzzling gold star Bossholes.

Chicago's violence provides training for military doctors (from 2014). The number of shootings is keeping pace, maybe it's just the meatball surgery is getting better.

BOYCOTT bourbon street and tell all your family & friends to as well. They are now backing out of the contract they had with all the officers who were throwing the several officers who were fired for the Van Dyke incident after they already had passed tickets out and booked the room. They just notified the committee that they will not support the officers and that there benefit will not be taking place there and it's on the 19th of march. I urge all officers and officers family's to stop giving them our service. Even if you don't agree with the situation this is a absolute joke and a slap in the face of all the officers that go here and spend lots of there money and have thrown many other events there. If we never stick together we will never get anything done to change. Plus that place sucks anyway. The merrionette park mayor, police chief and bar owner al said no way do we support you and it's not happening here.

That is very true President Trump exposed the media for what they are dishonest liars who will do anything including fake news to sell their lying stories! The media is not an asset to law abiding honest people they are the enemy when they constantly lie and embellish any anti-police story. The media is not our friends never has been but gotten even worse as they are owned by rahm & company and do as the master tells them to do. How do you think all the "leaks" about CPD are dripped out rapidly? City hall and the police so called press office!

The Police Department Stats for Homicides are always lower and Politically Managed to make the Department Rahm look, like he has control of this "Crisis". The only Credible stats for homicides are the Medical Examiner. Unless the Sun-Times is Pimping for Da Machine!
And when you see some of the people or folks writing for the Sun-Times: Mr. Brown, Da Angry and Militant Ms. Mitchell; the use of the word "Pimping" is appropriate.Remember, when Rahm loses the next election, he and most of his advisers will leave Chicago, because most of them are not from here and they hate the weather, and the locals. And YOU, will be left with the bills and the Clean-Up. Give the Public that remains Democrat, nothing more than Basic Service, do NOTHING more than answer your calls! Baby"G"

Since investigative journalism is now a thing of the past, and newspapers get their marching orders from the liberal political party, they're probably safe reporting what they're told to report.
If politicians started getting their asses killed on a regular basis, things would change in a hurry! But they can live with just regular assholes being killed.

Studies detail how much funding sanctuary cities stand to lose

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2017/03/07/studies-detail-how-much-funding-sanctuary-cities-stand-to-lose.html

All told, the states hardest hit would be California, New York, Illinois, Pennsylvania and Maryland.
According to the report, New York risks losing $191.1 million, followed by Illinois at $91.3 million. Pennsylvania and Maryland round out the top five with $65.2 million and $35 million, respectively.

(We are what over 100 billion in debt thanks to the democratic panderers and thieves this state is dead last in everything, from terrible unsafe infrastructure to crime running rampant especially in Chicago what is on the agenda for summer when the heat gets consistent and police are still vilified?)

A “sanctuary city” typically refers to a government that has refused to comply with federal detention requests from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement or take part in other immigration enforcement actions.

Trump’s January warning was enough to prompt Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos Gimenez, a Republican, to abandon his government's sanctuary status. But many sanctuary cities are likely to stay the course. Leaders in New York, Philadelphia, Los Angeles and Boston all say they won’t bow to pressure from the White House

(above you notice he is a hispanic that knows how much the cuts will hurt the people who he has taken an oath to uphold the law)

The Office of Community Oriented Policing Services, which provides money for law enforcement agencies to hire additional community policing officers.

(Bam there it is badly needed money for policing in the chiraq with all the winter blood flowing, overwhelmed emergency services thanks to rahm refusing to obey federal laws another thing he has caused)

Don't count your chickens yet....Wait now, the body cams are still due in the hood by early summer or late spring. Even less engagement by the Poleece which we all know what that means.... So it may be a slow start winter/ spring. But it sure may be a tusnami of bodies by fall. A lot players got 'kilt' last year so there's a lull in the action but by late summer the new crop will be fighting for turf. Two things you can always count on in da hood: LINK and Chalkie.

Tribune just slammed the coppers trying to throw a benefit for the officers of the JVD case. Article states that the officers lied about the facts of the case as if it's been proven. Was the allegations of all involved proven to be rule 14? Or just a political action to save heads from rolling at 35th street and city hall? And why aren't the bosses who signed off rule 14 as well? Finally I was unaware that the tribune was judge jury and executioner for cook county, why do we even have a police board if that's the case?
