Again, just a rumor, but it's good to keep this at the forefront of everyone's mind so no one forgets exactly who and how this Department has been driven into the ground.

Thanks SCC for keeping this travesty on the radar. It is clear that many in the top 50-75 had info that wasn't privy to the entire tested group. (I'm saying it nicely so as not to use the C word [cheat]). The only fair thing to do now is leave the list up so those who scored 101-200 that didn't cheat have a chance to be promoted.

GREAT game at the Edge last night in the annual Law Enforcement Classic between the CPD vs. FBI. It was an up and down battle but it was a great game that ended up in a shoot out. Our boys fought hard but alas, the Bureau won. But no matter, a good time was had by all and we were able to send another group of veterans to DC to see their Memorial.
SCC...I went back and re-read old posts from April and March 2009. On March 18, 2009 your post ran a yes / no survey for a no confidence vote on Jody Weiss. Please do it again and post the results for Special Ed. Reading those old posts and revisiting the context of that situation made me realize with stark clarity 2 things: 1) morale is the worst it has ever been 2) we are resigned to just take it.

Then start the interviews. Anyone found to have committed a Rule 14 violation, would be separated.

How about brilliant, confident because she took the time to study throughout the process and smart enough to work so she did not have to cram. I was her study partner, not Patrina. She also went to Bernstein and Voulgaris's study group and studied with me, not any other group the entire time, you know why, because she hates study groups. Ask her why and it has nothing to do with CPD. Also if you knew her personally and didn't just fantasize about being her and in her world you would know that her and Williams fell out way before the test and she went to an entirely different Unit way before the test and left NOBLE. Yet again, way before the test and still, it had nothing to do with any testing crap. She was close to 100 so once again, cheating top scorer lie. It's not your fathers 003rd district (well, maybe days is with an openly BLM Sgt and female desk personnel who say they are only "voting for the black" union candidates) but there are still a lot of covert racists like LT Hall. A young white PO with not much time OTJ recently asked to partner with a Hispanic officer on an 06 car and was told "06 needs more diversity" even though the random 06 cars up and running are pretty much equal black, white and Hispanic. She could have just noted he didn't have a lot of time. She and the others deserve whatever bad cards they are dealt. In a district that has heavy hitters like Farrakhan and his mosque, The Jacksons (both Jesse Jr and Sr) living there and former deputy chiefs son and superintendents daughter as supervisors on the watches with a host off other high ranking NOBLE members, it may be an uphill battle but one can hope

the problem is that our minority bosses have no loyalty to each other and they try to show each other up, backstab each other and then just cant keep their mouths shut, instead of promoting 1, then wait until next group take another etc, but don't be stupid, or yes be stupid and mark the same answers as your friend on the test. dumb people then get promoted for the wrong reasons and cant do their job as LTS. because they are just dumb. how embarrassing to all. you deserve to get fired.

The Aviation Union is in bed with Garry's partner (Simon) with an expanded cleaning contract and will only pay lip service to the current Aviation contract. The next step by Paragon and United Services will be control of the new casino cleaning and security contracts. Garry attributes this whole golden opportunity to the CNN expose and the embarrassment to the city and the Mayor and express his gratitude to the whistleblowers highlighting a $10 million dollar contract.

The department is FULL OF CHEATING pieces of shit who then sit in easy spots where they do nothing! Oh, sorry, they cash incredible checks for sitting inside and sending emails (oh, wait they don't do that, their admin sgts do!). The best part is they think we forget when they brag for months to years how they were promised to get promoted. But now, they make it "legit" and are not on the merit list but performed so well they miraculously were in the top 20. wow.
Now follow the friends who are their business partners who were promoted! or classmates. or mistress at the time of the test. A LOT OF PEOPLE KNOW THE TRUTH!

If this is true, and I am reserving judgement at this point, it will and should rock the police department to its core as well as city government and expose to the public what every police officer has known for decades. That this department is a hotbed of political patronage and its promotion system is corrupt and must be reformed once and for all if there is any change for real reform in the department and for a boost in morale .

Mr. Simon will not be getting the cleaning contract (or any other contract) at a casino in Illinois. Rivers in Des Plaines paid a 1.65 million fine last year for using Mr. Simon's United Services Company for cleaning at the casino.
Rahm and the Aldercreatures must be heavily vested in private security firms. It is obvious, that they are doing their best to destroy CPD. It can't just be for votes. Is the end game to farm out everything possible? The way things are going, I would say they are succeeding. Who else is involved and how is the money flowing? No matter, nothing will be done to the key players. Serve up the foolish and wreckless and carry on.

It's good to know that Saadia Carter still reads the blog. It's hilarious hearing her defend herself on here. If Carter was legit why did she originally pass the Lt's promotion up when the first cheaters made it? As soon as the allegations started she was the first to try to disassociate herself with Noble and the cheaters along with another male Sgt in Noble assigned to IAD, last starts with a (P).. She has never worked hard or worked the street. She was an Administrative sergeant who stared in the mirror all day, took long lunches and collected Noble dues. Tell me again how and why she deserves to be a Lt? The work that she does for Noble has nothing to do with the department. The most work she's done on this department was to get female officers booted who worked for E/C and was getting too close. Mrs Eric and I spent her last days as a sergeant prancing around A/S wearing big hair and heels telling people how she was waiting to be promoted. She tried to wait until the smoke cleared but Weeezie won't sit still.
Saadia is smart and she is very nice, but hard worker she is NOT. When she worked for Williams at HQ she NEVER came to work but was always marked present. Ask anyone who worked there with her and they will verify this. When she went to Area South she still did NOT do much work, she did not know what to do and relied heavily on another Sgt who eventually made Lt.

What about Lt CP from the academy. Another one of eddies sgts who's dumb as a box of rocks who had to be made merit Sgt but yet scores in top ten of Lt test. Then goes to a district for a couple weeks now is in academy on days weekends off. Slap in the face to those who studied. 018 is laughing.

If not then there should be. I entered private industry after retiring from CPD. I have seen big bosses fired for taking basketball tickets from vendors, dating people in their departments. This is all too common on the CPD, I and probably all of you have seen a lot of it through the years. I was upstairs in the district at 0300hrs with the watch commander typing a report on a shooting. We were 20 feet from the commanders office. All of a sudden the door to his office opens and he and his secretary walk out. They did not know we were there. You should have seen the look on his face. He had a couch in his office. Both were married. Nothing new here. Disgusting.

Turns out, one copper found out that he was not privy to an answer or two and had to wait a few classes to be promoted. Then there was the Steve Georgas crew in 024 who studied for the detective exam, they miraculously all scored well too. It's who you know or who blow on this job.

What is sad about this whole ordeal is, what if those that have been referenced or thrown in the mix because someone is upset that they made it and they didn't, is found to have done absolutely no wrong? Unfortunately, their names will be associated with this scandal based on the allegation alone, justifiably. How fair is that when we are held to the standard of FACTS as a law enforcement agency? What is being done now is simply them being found to be guilty until proven innocent and guilty even after being proven innocent because of unsubstantiated perceptions and lies.
Just like the IG report was published regarding the Gun Turn In and that published audit had no discrepancies which is unheard of in city audits, but someone reaching and creating their own alternative facts posted something that an idiot could justifiably prove the post wrong, but the idiot posted it anyway, not to mention the Lieutenant bids post! I'm sure, same idiot. We have so many factual incidents and avenues that can be discussed, but the simple minded jumble their own private hate in with good daily information, daily.
