- Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel (D) scolded President Trump for his comments during his first address to a joint session of Congress about Chicago violence, challenging him to do more than talk about it.
"We have repeatedly made specific requests of the administration for greater law enforcement integration and resources; a higher priority placed on federal gun prosecutions; and funds restored toward mentoring and after-school and summer jobs programs that have proven to be positive alternatives for our young people,” Emanuel said in a statement following Trump's address.
"Because this is so important, I’ll always be ready with this list whenever the President asks.”
Hey Rahm - Washington DC coming in means you've failed. You've failed for 6 years to get any assistance money from a "president" who was spawned here - a guy you worked for and cracked the whip for. Federal gun prosecutions dropped to just about zero during his (and your) reigns. Your compatriots have conspired to reduce meaningful prison time to laughable amounts. The fact that Chicago has become a punchline is your fault, and attempting to blame Trump for your failure speaks to you (hopefully) never seeing another national position.

The worst Mayor Chicago has ever had. And all because of his Napoleonic ego. The long list of reasons started before he quashed the McDonald tape so he would be re-elected, but that is exactly where they came to a head and put the future of this once-great city in jeopardy. And it sometimes takes a lot of courage to look a nasty weirdo in the eye and tell him that Rahm knows that he's under the watchful eye of activists like me. After the quick wave of crime fighting improvements in the mid 90's with the Violent Crime Control Act, ShortShanks and RahmShanks decimated the police ranks, rewarded more Merit hacks and mostly after obama, allowed free range criminal activity.
It was Daley who booted out ICE from the branch courts around 1990, that was the start of Sanctuary City, slow police hiring and manpower shortages followed. Daley began his pandering crusade and gave revruns their soapboxes. The city went downhill since then with excessive spending, open corruption and land grabs.
Now that crime and corruption is way beyond control (whether in City Hall, the community or the sanctuary) a pandering Rahm wants some else to do his job, demanding alderman revruns style free govmint money and an overstuffed chair to sit back on and blame everybody else. Why doesn't he ask the Archdiose or Pflaker for money, where's his business partners and the bushel baskets of money they were forced to give to his education initiative? Where are the insider contractors that build all the unnecessary venues, parks and fly-overs? Where's the money going from the economic engine, Ohare Modernization?

Rahm's construction company's donors cars park illegally all over south wabash near roosevelt and the Chicago transportation felt has given them a pass. As a disabled senior there's no free parking for us but plenty for Rahm's donors. The alderman did nothing to help this issue.

Rahm is in the driver's seat of his political vehicle
and chanting: "Winning is everything."
Said vehicle having been crashed hard against a
concrete bridge abutment gaudily spray-painted
with script that reads: "Hillary Didn't Win and
Neither Did You...."
The vehicle IS burning and Rahm truly believes
that the flames will not reach him because he's
so much smarter than everybody else.
We know what a burned-to-a-crisp human skeleton
looks like, but for some reason we're having quite the time
war-gaming what a burned-to-a-crisp weasel skeleton
looks like fused to a seat frame, grinning at everything
and clutching the steering wheel of the formerly vaunted,
juggernaut of a political vehicle.
Let's just call it a full float with a wrapper and flat-bed
the wreckage to the M.E's office so that somebody's
political aspirations can be scraped out and buried so
as to never again be an affront to decent, law-abiding men.
And Rahm "blames" The Police for his national
political aspirations grinding to a halt and shitting
a crater in his smoothly paved road of destiny.
Remember... In 2010, Rahm jumped his little shitty ass
off that D.C. charter and flounced across the tarmac
with his mind made up that he was going to pick a
fight with Chicago Policemen under the guise of:

His friends in local and national media were going
to play that up HUGELY to all but assure Rahm of
an walk-off win in 2016.

beanie wearing cadre of whiz kid war-gamers were unable
to plan for.
The Police adopting such a hard-shell defensive stance.
The native savagery of Chicago's protected, democratic
voting criminal underclass being given de facto carte
blanche at the continuous vilification and nullification
of The Police.
The national media no longer honoring the hand-shake
deal on a black-out of the eye-watering violence in Chicago.
Getting only so much actual mileage out of the
"The Police Are The Problem" meme.
The INTERNATIONAL media perking up and taking notice.
Hillary running to keep the Benghazi scandal from ever
growing legs.
Hillary losing...
Politically, Rahm is persona non-grata on the national stage.
The only people still interested in him are the big-money
concerns with dreams of installing Rahm to loot the taxpayer
treasury on a national level.
