FOP Coverage
More on the FOP Election:
When Rahm starts playing the games of "canceling" scheduled Contract meetings and such, we hope the FOP plays hardball and goes right for the arbitrator - don't play his bullshit games.
Negotiating as "gentlemen" only works when both sides act gentlemanly, and Rahm is a petulant sawed-off runt who runs his entire organization by the "news cycle." Undercut him at every opportunity. If he demands concessions in line with an imaginary federal Consent Decree, then demand job protections in line with federal officers - 72 hours, full representation, data review, etc. He can't object without looking like a failed tyrant and guess what he loses?
The news cycle.

I totally agree, fuck them. Don't give up shit. We lost to much already. Let them give big stuff for minor BS.
If given a choice between Emanuel and Kim Jung-Un, I just might choose the latter.
I can see it now. They will be in the negotiating room talking about something like adding 20 dollars to the uniform check or some BS like that and Marty Prieb will be standing in the corner rambling to a picture on the wall about the wrongful conviction movement and the Anthony porter case. Marty, we know about the Anthony porter case, its a great job by you guys but every single blog post and conversation revolves around that same one story.. Marty, there is such a thing as a job well done as was done here but there is also beating a dead horse. Move onto other cases or something for gods sake. Please be involved in FOP business and not just in the porter case and pending civil litigation. We have so many things going on right now in our union and department that we don't need 24/7 ramblings about the wrongful conviction movement.. There is a time and place for that, and I agree its extremely important and you have done great work but lets do one thing at a time here.
FOP blinks first.
Emanuel will try to drag negotiations until AFTER March of 2019.. the election.
Anyone remember Rham pushing a squad out of the snow back in 2010 or when ever he was driving out looking for a squad with a media camera.... Or the best one ever... Rham was someplace a douch bag cop with round hat, has Rham autograph his blue shirt--- it on YouTube as a campaign commercial... I was thinking, wow stupid sob prolly spent 400 bucks to get that garbage blue shirt framed
Here they come...
The City Hall orchestrated
anti-Police document dumps
and even more slanted press
coverage.
Be sure to shrink your media
radar signature and stay out
of sound and sight of the
public as much as possible
through the summer killing
season.
Pack your lunch.
Don't be seen at usual hang-outs.
Even off duty because as spring and
summer scrolls by, they'll become
even more desperate to gin up
Police related controversy to dirty-up
contract negotiations.
Rahm & Co. is getting desperate
to generate any anti-Police
spin they can leading up to
the opening bell of contract
negotiations.
Remember...
Dry, flavorless, non-controversial,
unsexy, strictly by the numbers
Policing.
It's driving THEM crazy.
If we can adopt a more hard shell
self-protective posture to go with our
increased vigilance and reduced footprint,
it's a HUGE plus for us.
Heh...
They have no idea what they put themselves
in for by declaring war on The Police and
Policing in this town.
"WAH! You Cops aren't supposed to play
mean and dirty like that!"
Police Like You Have No Friends.
Read both articles and then tell me Deano is not in the pocket of the Tines and didn't drop a tine and try to smear Graham in the media. Deans not only a disability scammer , but his cowardmess has shown straight through the election. Suck on that you coward.
I don't see any way this doesn't wind up with an arbitrator.
I heard the Sgt.'s union has met with the city a half a dozen times to work on their next contract. Each time the city has only wanted to discuss discipline.
Fuck these Rahm henchmen. They're not negotiating in good faith.... head to an arbitrator.
Fuck Rahm. That pussy has disappeared while the city is burning. He's a failure. He's done.

That SOB is probably a commander by now. Id have Rham sign my nutsack just to be a Lt.
Be careful Graham, Mark Donahue and Bill Dougherty will do anything to get you out, they screwed us all just to get rid of Shields.
Sue for residency.
Don't bargain for it in the next contract.
FOP blinks first.
I don't think the city has ever negotiated in good faith! Hey FOP, why don't you get a 3.8 percent inflation increase per year in our contract like the mayor and alderman have!
All I am saying is not discount the 4000+ votes Dean received. Stop the negative smear on everyone fop and come together. Respond with a joint statement from kevin and dean together. Let the city know that our political process is contentious but unified. They won't know how to act. The read the blog post and know that less than 50% of total membership voted for Graham. Christ if you add Dean into the number only 60% +/- of total eligible voted. Find a way to stand together. If you break arm they will come through the line.
This election is in the rear view mirror, now we go to work together. Anything short of that is not what I voted for.
SCC says:
He can't object without looking like a failed tyrant and guess what he loses?
Disagree
Who is going to report it other than this blog?
Isn't mayor Rahm the next in line for the dictatorship of North Korea? It would explain a lot.
J.J.
Rahm.....is not my mayor
File an immediate law suit for lifting residency. It's time to get rid of this antiquated BS rule. Don't give anything up for it. Take it to the courts. Let's do this.
Congrats Kevin.Get rid of the pizza king Greg. Please send him on his way along with hair line creations Hauser. They been at the trough for years and and all that was gained by them were 48 in waists. I know they got voted in but hopefully you don't have to keep them in house. Move on and move on fast.
I would read the fine list print on that property contract between rahm's uncle and Graham...
I know everyone has an opinion and today might be a day to gloat for some. Wtf stop with the bashing. We have more viewer on this blog that are not cops and honestly we sound like assholes. Time to move forward. I hope SCC starts a blog post that truly asked the rank and file along with retirees what we expect out of the FOP. Delete any comments that are negative to a specific person on all fronts and truest see what we want out of Kevin. Give him a chance to do right by us without having all the negative comments about him, dean, bill, mark, Marty, etc.
We have an opportunity to really fight for what we want and I for one would like to know what we are exactly fighting for. City Hall is the enemy, press is the enemy, not other members.
OK Kevin it is your world now just make sure The pension is fully funded forget about the nonsense of residency which is state law this will never change your time to negotiate better pay better healthcare making sure the retirees will have the healthcare restoring the healthcare that the mayor took away for retirees because were all going to be retired one day young coppers understand this.

It has never been more important for all of the police unions to be on the same page regarding contract changes for discipline. If the city can get the supervisor's unions to buckle in and change those sections, the city will have more leverage with an arbitrator when it comes to the FOP.
Mark my words the election cycle has started already. Mike Shields will begin shortly. His first move will try to get back on the pension fund. All I can say to Kevin is Watch your back and find a candidate for Pension Fund immediately. You have the wind at your back and you need your guy up there. Him and his brother Dan will try to dirty everyone up and he already started this process this past election by getting 1700 votes. Doesn't seem like much it is 30% of what you got in the run off. Be careful that history does not repeat itself.
Dean jr. Was upset yesterday. He thinks his merit promotion costs daddy the election
I like the way the Sun-Times has their two pictures. Dean is clean with a straight tie and the American flag in the background. Graham is desheveled with a white cinder block wall in the background. The Sun-Times is so
Obvious in their attempts to slant the story. What happened to reporting the news not trying to make it. Pathetic.
I worry that this graham guys in bed with the mayor already. I get the feeling he just let the fox in the hen house....
Pension and residency are the top priorities. We need to challenge the crazy residency rule with absolute passion.
I Guess Jamal Green, ACLU, and the Black Caucus of aldercreatures, will not be dictating the next Contract! Coppers will not be "Interrogated" on perhaps the most traumatic incident in their entire lives, immediately after it occurs, while they are still confused. Coppers will not have to Guess about what a video contains, before they even see it. Yep, Rahm may have lost more on this election than Dean. Baby "G"
I am pretty sure it is in the mayoral job description to be a sawed off runt.
Dear Kevin Graham and FOP union hopefully all of you have learned a lesson from Dean Angelo and his team, you work for and represent the membership, you must become outspoken, fight for us and have our backs especially in this difficult time with law enforcement. To the board especially those on the Graham ticket now is the time to step up and do what you have always said you would for the membership if you do not you will be replaced next election and will feel the wrath of it during your term. I worked hard to convince the membership that the Angelo team time has expired and I will do the same again. Good luck to our new President and let the new direction begin. Signed a 20 year plus veteran.
No matter who won. The last contract was a pretty clear indicator of that. Remember when FOP forgot to send the letter, (and wether it was incompetence or betray those involved should never be forgotten or forgiven) Then the city dangled the retro over the membership's heads. So to save face the next FOP regime put it to a memembership vote, and this was the biggest slap in the face, watching the majotity of my fellow 9161s give away their benefits for a retro check.. That was disturbing, and a pretty clear message to all those posters with big dreams we are screwed. This time the city with all its antipolice 24/7 media power will go right for throat, and find a way to go after any protections you have left regarding discipline and use of force. Its not even worth the stress, the hole was dug the last contract.
Policemen should not negotiate contracts, always end up on the losing end. Hire a good private firm ASAP.
During the negotiations make a note that COPA and Kim FOX "Y lady" will be watching very closely.
Anything we lose with regard to discipline will be fodder for these police haters.
Ok we have a new crew in. Maybe now we can all stand together as a membership of the FOP. Show our force and strength. Angelo's team was just as bad as the anti police people out there, he never backed us.
off topic but another NYPD carpetbagger lands a spot
http://www.delawareonline.com/story/news/local/2017/04/12/wilmington-names-chicago-crime-strategist-police-chief/100367322/
Prepare to get fucked.
Next move will be in Sprinfield. Amendments to Labor law have already been drafted. "In order to facilitate all reasonable and necessary reforms ...." "Any public employer, which has an established police department, found by the United States Department of Justice to have engaged in a pattern and practice of unlawful or unconstitutional policing....shall not be required to collectively bargain over matters relating to assignments, hours of work, discipline or accountability...."
There has also been talk in some circles to suspen application of the labor act completely for us. What does that mean? No negotiation or arbitration about anything! Not Limey but since nobody seems to be Ingram anything a strike doesn't really scare these politicians so much.
Keep talking dummies. Before too long that's all you will be able to do.
And the first time or little thing they violate tell them unlawful and labor action to follow starting with the "flu epidemic" That Rhama Dama Ding Dong wants to be the ballbuster then game fucking on
Wow the same voters that elected this medical abuser woke up and voted out this useless representative of law enforcement officers. Their is hope not just for working officers but for honest working Chicago citizens and innocent victims of the thugs running rampant because of Tiny dancer,Bullwinkle,Dart and Media cycles. The first volley was Trump.
Hopefully Graham will not be the PUPPET for Doherty and Donahue, if so we are in for a screwing. These two are for themselves and gamed the FOP before will high salaries, plus benefits. God Bless FOP!
The Times quoted nine fingers saying, De-boy was a strong voice for the rank and file and retirees. My dad is retired from the CPD and I did not hear a peep from him when the retirees medical was taken away. I only hope the new president is a strong voice for us.
I saw Dean this morning at the gym and he just said he is glad he is out of that office. We talked for about 10 minutes while he was doing leg squats with 2 45 plates on each side. For a little guy he is a strong fella. He said he is looking forward to the retired life finally and just getting himself back in shape. He mentioned that in this new retired chapter of his life his goals are to complete a Chicago Marathon and get Dean Jr the security director gig at the new Depaul Arena. He said that he served this city well and honorable and now is the time the city pays him for all these years of locking up bad guys. As I walked away I saw him spotting Mike Lappe doing the bench press. All I could think to myself is wow.
File a suit for residency
Lets hope there's no nonsensical in fighting again.
Never trust Rahm to hand over anything he already decided he's not giving up or taken away. That's crazy.
Expect reductions, hold backs and eliminations for those under 5 yrs.
Cheaper Healthcare is not coming back, unless you're an illegal.
Wages will not be more than 7% over 5 yrs.
He won't makeup Pension obligations either.
He won't be hiring thousands and promoting hundreds, supplying vehicles and equipment for everyday needs.
Forget about perks like Residency and eliminating Merit promos.
He may not bend over backwards for the 2% paying CTU-CPS, but he will cave to them for the 98% votes.
He's already made it known he is about as Anti-Police as any other disruptive, manic, crazed Democrat.
Rahm will pull the Shortshanks Poormouth again.
As for Arbitor...try and find one in pitiful and corrupt CookCo Illinois that will delve into Rahm's city finances.
Best option...A Day Without Police, for starters.
Screw Rahm - Stay Fetal
Remember in the 90s when insurance was free?
They've been chipping away at the stone ever since.
They'll eventually get what they want. Don't expect any FOP pres to resist or go against the machine too much.
Rahm needs the support of the police in his next election????????? He should take a page from Jane Byrnes negotiations with the police.

I'm also a supporter of Marty and I personally don't think that he can repeat the Porter case enough. That case highlights every wrongful conviction case taken on by the wrongful conviction movement. It was the start of the anti-police false narrative and the poster child Gov Ryan used to abolish the death penalty in Illinois. I would not stop talking about it until every person in Illinois knew about it and how it turned public opinion against the police. Keep calling out all the reporters who jumped on the anti-police band wagon and don't stop until the police have their authority and reputation restored.
Kevin, congrats to you, I voted for you and so did my co workers. Please stick to what you told us during your roll cALL visits, be true to the membership, and don't sell us out. Do not settle for any deals, we give up nothing. If we have to go with an arbitrator in 2 years, so be it!
I hope that the new FOP board goes over this crap with a fine tooth comb:

Exactly what I said before the Presidential election, only it was Hillary or Putin!!!
Observations from an outsider:
As a non-LEO I think your strategy of passive policing is the best. I hear on the street from regular folk to jackass kids that the police are not doing there job. I say to myself how the hell or why in the hell would anybody jeapordize all they have worked for to give it away to some hood jagoff, cry baby criminals. The people are beginning to want to have more police but I say let those fuckers eat cake (or shit).
They finally have a police force they have demanded by their own words and actions.
A regular working stiff beat cop is getting fucked by both sides so all you can do is answer calls, watch the hose downs of homicide scenes and go home to the ones you love and are loved by. I don't know what to call it but a lose/lose situation and until things get straight continue. As the gentlemen says "police like you have no friends" is truly a mantra to live by and not get screwed for doing your job.
If you want to protect yourselves citizens, learn the art of gunfighting, get CCW and be prepared to use it in the event you or your family are in danger.
My old man was pleased when he heard I was moving to Chicago as he was a Maryland State trooper until some dick hit the car he was writing a ticket to killing him. He would be spinning in his grave knowing how CPD has declined.
These are big boy times and you pay big boy prices if you fuck up in anyway.
Be safe, be SMART and avoid your usual spots for the summer is not yet upon us and I fear we will need level 4 bio-hazard boots to walk in the blood these assholes are going to spill.
G_d bless CPD.
Citizen Richard
Be strong, be safe and go home after every tour.
Well said SCC. The crooked politicians and media will stop at nothing to smear the CPD. Hopefully this new FOP administration can stay one step ahead. Trump was able to win the election with almost every media outlet, politician and celebrity against him. Hopefully Preib will develops a similar strategy and finds away to reach the masses with an articulated representation of the members. Time to get up on that podium and reference the Laws and Statutes that we follow, enforce and the criminals break. Speak to Laws, know the Laws and let the residents of Chicago watch the crooked politicians and media tip toe around them.
Hey FOP,
Hear we go! Stick it in their ear!
Contractual Protections like the FEDS have!
http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/local/politics/ct-black-caucus-police-contract-met-0414-20170413-story.html
Disability Dean showed up at HQ today to get put back on disability. smdh
I am happy to see part of the Blue Voice team get elected.
It is time for our Chicago Police Officers to get the proper representation that their dues go for.
Hopefully the ballet dancer will not be able to step all over this FOP president.
DumTimes & Mark Brown leaves it up to Kevin "Crackers" Graham:
" (not blaming the police)...I find it interesting that a security camera ...shows two employees physically attempting to block the woman from leaving the store, putting their bodies on the line in the process.
"The police, facing exactly the same threat, pulled their weapons and shot the woman dead. That gives me pause."
– I don't know what Brown is hoping for, besides caving in to Pandering Rahm's Caucus proposal to delete FOP Contract articles. And what does he want FOP president to do...agree with him?
It does give Rahm and Special Ed reason to issue and require patrol officers to either carry gladiator shields or push around shopping carts to all weapon violation calls that may involve crazed consumers or armed and deranged urban terrorist street thugs.
Witch Hunt continues.
Stay Fetal, practice if you must, just answer the calls and take reports.
Rahm voters are dwindling.
Then we have this headline:
Black officials want changes to contract with police union
http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/local/politics/ct-black-caucus-police-contract-met-0414-20170413-story.html
Excerpt:
Roderick Sawyer
A day after the election of a harder-line Chicago Fraternal Order of Police president, an array of black elected officials Thursday called for Mayor Rahm Emanuel to demand police contract changes they say would make it easier to report misconduct by cops without fear of reprisal.
City Council Black Caucus Chairman Ald. Roderick Sawyer, 6th, said the 18-member group he leads will vote against a new police contract if those changes aren't included. He also said he has enough support from aldermen outside the caucus to kill a proposed deal.
"The FOP contract has been preserving and protecting a culture of racism and violence in our Police Department for far too long," Sawyer said while standing with African-American federal, state, county and city officials. "Now is our chance to change that once and for all, and I would challenge the FOP to contact us and meet with us to discuss what's beneficial for the entirety of the city of Chicago, not just the rank-and-file members of the Police Department."
Sawyer made the call a day after Kevin Graham defeated one-term incumbent Dean Angelo Sr. for the top FOP post. Although Angelo was resistant to the contract changes the Black Caucus seeks, Graham has taken an even harder line on the issue of reform.
Graham declined a Tribune request for an interview Thursday, but a written statement he issued after being declared the winner a day earlier made clear where he'll stand. "We look forward to immediately preparing for the upcoming contract negotiations, fighting the anti-police movement in the city, and obtaining fair due process and discipline for our members," the statement read.
(So I guess all the carnage in the black community is ok blame the police right goofy alderman as the people get maimed and murdered? The community you all serve is fraught with mayhem and violence)
Set the tone FOP...go the way of trump!!! Hopefully the new boss of local 2 does the same!
Lift residency after 7 yrs!

Agreed pension should be #1 issue followed by healthcare!
As a retiree I understand that the union should be run by active officers that fulfill the responsibilities of representing their members on hours, wages and other conditions of employment. I would also hope that they remain cognizant of retiree concerns, medical and pension. I would hope that as the union shifts direction and focuses on active officers they don't throw us to the wolves. Good luck to the new regime.
Pension and residency are the top priorities. We need to challenge the crazy residency rule with absolute passion.

No, your insurance should be your top property along with the pension. Just because you're not sick today, doesn't mean you won't be sick tomorrow.

This is what I fear they will do to Mette and Preib.
Donahue wants his power back
Here's what you are right about. Rahm runs the City based on the news cycle/court of public opinion. And, if he sees an opening he will take a battering ram and attempt to force it open until his army runs roughshod over you. Here's what you are wrong about. If this goes to arbitration, you will not get everything you want. Have you ever gotten 100% of what you wanted in any agreement? No. Has the City even gotten 100% of what it wanted in any agreement? No. That's why its called negotiations. Figure out what horses are worth trading knowing that discipline and benefits/pension will probably be 1 and 2 on the City's want list.
Just decided. All Dept of Aviation Officers have to go back to the academy and get trained in Procedural justice. Possibly Force Mitigation. They are still deciding on that.
If the city has been meeting with the sgts union then its because their contract expired last June. The FOP contract was a 5 yr deal and doesnt expire till this June so why woild the city be negotiating with FOP before the contract expired?
If given a choice between Emanuel and Kim Jung-Un, I just might choose the latter.

Next time choose the ladder.
I hope Graham is not a lame duck president like Dean was. We will not give up anything and demand those pension payments be made. If the city can waste money retrofitting street lights to led then they can meet the pension obligations!!!!
Tell Rahm we want nothing more and nothing less than the same protections the fed's get.
Who gives a fuck what "the community", Fr. Phaker and the Black Caucas want removed from our current contract.
To all you birds chirping about repealing residency:
FORGET IT!!!
NOT GOING TO HAPPEN.
Sue?
Waste of time and money.
Unless you forgot, there never was any secret about it. It is a preexisting conditions of employment.
Sue? Did you forget that the Illinois and Cook County courts are owned by the same political machine that runs the City.
Ann Burke, Illinois Supreme Court justice:wife of Ed Burke. Good luck.
the State Constitution gives considerable home rule rights to municipalities.
Arbitration? No go. Arbitrator can not order the City Council to change the ordinance.
Sorry. You're stuck.
The only teachers get what they want. It's about time we get what we want.
Black caucus wants to change state law to allow anonymous complaints against officers. Officers want to change state law to change residency requirement... sounds like a fair trade to me.
OT: Just saw that a passenger was bitten by a scorpion on a United Airlines flight. Can the PR get any worse??

Pension....yes.
Residency is not going to happen. It is a requirement for employment. Plain and simple.
Think longer term issues.........like medical benefits....both active and retiree.
We need to band together and protect each other because no one downtown could care less.
We really should explore being able to manage our own health care benefits. Philadelphia did it. First couple of years were rocky, but that is with anything. We would put too many hall-connected lackeys out of a job.
Anyone who thinks the crime that was the wrongful conviction movement shouldn't be trumpeted nonstop is an idiot who doesn't understand the forces the police are up against. Martin is a hero
Be careful Graham, Mark Donahue and Bill Dougherty will do anything to get you out, they screwed us all just to get rid of Shields.

how ?
Our union officials should have term limits.

Agreed...How about focus all attention on the pension! This is our survival. This is what we're working for every day. This was a contractual agreement signed on our first day in the academy. It's sick that it's even a topic for discussion. Next take residency directly to the courts. No one else in America has this. Chicago has greatly changed and we should have the option to move if we choose.

Agreed pension should be #1 issue followed by healthcare!
Pension, and healthcare.. I give can a fuck about residency I came on this job knowing I have to live in this city.
demand bodycams for alderman
lets see what they do for $130,000 a year and a $500,000 expense account
SCC I'm with you 200% , That little Ballerina Yuppie Prick has to go , and hes got all city Dept's acting the same way with workers everywhere , Don't give this Midget Prick a inch . All these Kiss Asses have to go , We are now back to the Old days , where there's some Ass Kicking needed , Like Back in the Jimmy Hoffa Days.
Wtf is this. First day and a one minute press conference. Come on Kevin this is not what I voted for. Nobody is asking you to negotiate the contract in the media but for the love of God say something or DONT call a press conf.

No when you retire MOVE but your health insurance is a huge retirement issue. Benifits and protect your rights same as federal agents. Stop this residency BS. Protect the contract restore the parts lost by Angelo. No more concessions more not lesd
Pension....yes.

You must be another asshole worried about yourself and the value of your overpriced home. Residency has been abolished almost everywhere else in America and pretty much at all other departments in IL. It's an out dated rule; another rule for the government here in Chicago to control all of us. Residency needs to be challenged, and I think the majority of people on this department agree except the few selfish people like yourself worried about yourself and how much you can make on your house. If residency is ever lifted, nothing says you have to leave tool!
off topic but another NYPD carpetbagger lands a spot

Biggest "Legend In His Own Mind" that I ever met. Complete arrogant jag-off.
STOP. BEING. DIVIDED. We are all we have right now, we need a united front, behind whomever we have. Our only power comes in numbers. Don't be like those lesser than us who get divided by a few. Stand the F up. We are the police. I will die for each and every one of you. I don't even like some of you, but I will lay my life on the line for you in a heartbeat. We are at a critical juncture my brothers and sisters.

If the city has been meeting with the sgts union then its because their contract expired last June. The FOP contract was a 5 yr deal and doesnt expire till this June so why woild the city be negotiating with FOP before the contract expired?
Agra will do what they did last contract. They accepted some concessions that affect them less than us, negotiated away some health care changes that changed our BC/BS plan, then sat back and waited for the "me too" clause to kick in if FOP received any better or additional benenefits
They took short money raises and iif FOP negotiated better pay raises for its members the Sgt would also receive them because of the me too clause. Just an important point. They have they me too clause, we dont
Fuck residency! You guys want to drive 25 miles to work? The nice areas in the suburbs cost as much as the nice areas in the city, $675k for a nice house in Old Irving Park, plus, you can have the same leftist retards in the suburbs brain washing your children to hate themselves and their parents. There are a few very good schools in Chicago, work to get your children in them. Save for your retirement because you don't get social security and the pension is in a death spiral, def comp all you can. The ghetto dwellers don't give a damn if you wind up eating dog food to survive.
I'm more worried about the pension and healthcare.
another NYPD carpetbagger lands a spot
and far away from his cpd girlfriend
The City must love dealing with us on contracts.
it obvious many of you have probably only negotiated that lovely car you bought with free oil changes.
Nobody seems to care about being stripped without pay?
City paying its share to pension fund on time?
Cancelling days off becoming the norm?
testing structure for promotions?
rights regarding cameras owned by the city which you carry all day recording yourself?
Too many units that are volunteer that are not protected by the contract?
Yet everyone talks about uniform allowances that are not pensionable
Retro money with no interest or late fees.
residency nice thought but extremely low chance on any kind of success.
Kevin good luck hopefully you're able to resolve many of the issues the most important issue of all is the pension forget just forget about abolishing residency it is a waste of time would be a waste of FOP members dollars this is the law. It is been like this it is not going to change do not waste our money trying to abolish residency
All these " fuck residency " guys are so funny . They only care about there own shit hole 3 bedroom half a million dollar raised ranch .. residency is for the future hires and us guys with over 20 that want out . You want to stay ? Go ahead , enjoy . Indiana looks great to me . 45 min drive , no problem
Here we go again... Don't know what it is going to take to convince some of the neanderthals on this page that residency is never going to get lifted.... Lets not waste are time even fighting that... There are many more important aspects that we need to fight for... PENSION AND HEALTHCARE and many other things that the city is trying to take away.
Dont waste time on residency.
If you dont have a pension, you aint gonna be able live in the burbs either!

Black caucus wants to change state law to allow anonymous complaints against officers. Officers want to change state law to change residency requirement... sounds like a fair trade to me.
F**k you troll. I came on knowing I have to live here. I also have a RIGHT as a citizen of this United States to face my accuser.
Pompus pricks , "residency will never go away" yeah like our pensions weren't supposed too ? Fu
Shields and McGuire are teaming up in 2020. GUARANTEED. Do NOT buy the kool aid those 2 connected hacks are selling

Remember in the 90s when insurance was free?
They've been chipping away at the stone ever since.
They'll eventually get what they want. Don't expect any FOP pres to resist or go against the machine too much.

Then maybe you need to find out if you can elect ANY Chicago Union Employee to head YOUR Union.
I'd Fight tooth and nail for the Blue Shirts for 10 years in Office at 3 years OTJ PO pay.
