Free Speech?
- An “angry mob” of protesters effective shut down a speech by a pro-law enforcement scholar at Claremont McKenna College on Friday, surrounding the building, screaming obscenities and banging on windows.
Manhattan Institute fellow Heather Mac Donald, who is promoting a book called The War on Cops about the Black Lives Matter movement, was forced to give her speech on livestream – to a largely empty room — and then to flee the University building under the protection of campus security when things got really scary.
Kind if ironic that (A) facilities that are supposed to encourage and espouse free speech, aren't and (B) those screaming "fascist" are in fact, the fascists. This is how you get eight years of Trump.

Wait till these fuckin snowflakes get out of college and into the real world, cuz they will be in a rude awakening. One such awakening will be when they get a job and find out how much they are being taxed, in order to support all the free giveaways that they were protesting for while they were in college. The other awakening will be when they become victims and suddenly need the police to solve their crime. Of course they will complain about the high taxes and that the police should be doing more to stop crime, while they sit in Starbucks with other snowflakes drinking their latte and reading The Reader or The Onion for their fair and balanced news.
And now that Trump has Sessions in the AG's chair - we ought to locate every fascist POS that denied that woman her civil rights, arrest them, and indict them on Federal Civil Rights violations. Then cuff their asses up for 10+ years on each count.
Send a message - Protest PEACEFULLY or go to jail. Enough with this bullshit.

I may be biased given that I'm a cop, but I thought The War on Cops was a balanced read. She backed up her writing with statistical data and conducted thorough research to debunk commonly spewed BLM statistics. The old saying is that you can make stats tell any story you want, (so I suppose she could do the same) but some of her research really did show the ugly truth behind the anti-cop agenda of BLM. Especially how "unarmed blacks" are counted as such.
It is a shame that academia has become nothing more than an institution of propaganda-pushing liberals. The politicalizafion of learning is ruining young people. They aren't taught to think for themselves - they're taught what to think.
The way this author was treated is nothing less than an attack on free speech and the very backbone of this country's value system. I bet it doesn't make the news for more than 2 nights. And how long was BLM burning and looting and destroying? More than two days, if I recall. But that was fine. They needed "room".
I hope this whole thing just motivates Macdonald to keep writing. If anything, she got at least a couple chapters out of this experience.
Some of these so called colleges and universities should look at the case of Missouri University and learn their lesson. when you run afoul of common sense and most importantly, the alumni. As I recall from the article, their enrollment dropped about 5,000 in one year after the frizzled hair professor was calling for muscle to remove a free lance reporter from covering their BLM civil disobedience.
Alumni and others pulled their students out, alumni diplomas were returned and their contribution money dried up. Now the place is actually publicly discredited. It is a shining example of how to punish the colleges and universities who do not allow competing points of view in exchange for promoting a dogma.
Man I am glad I went to Western. The program there had a lot of retired or career change ex cops (CPD, ISP, FBI to name a few) in the faculty that kept it real for we punk ass students.
Free Speech is allowed only if you agree with THEM.

That's comparable to the story where Trump supporters were atacked by masked wearing left wingers and after being beaten the next day's headline read "Trump rally turns violent" with no mention that the offenders were Clinton supporters. Of course all the blame was place on the Trump supporters for being there.
Also, Fox News reported last night that college students on the east coast are protesting the prospect of a Chick-fil-A on the campus. The LBGTgroups feel unsafe because ownership of the chain made donations to conservative causes that didn't have their interests at heart. Seems the open minded liberal groups maybe aren't so welcoming after all.

The indoctrination is happening at the high school level. Just ask the "Parents of New Trier" who opposed the mandatory all day seminar on "racial civil rights" earlier this year.

As they bounce from job to job because no boss is going to put up with their shit. Mom and dad's basement will be their "starter home".
It's only a matter of time before some of these snowflakes try to throw a flaming garbage can through the wrong store window or beat up the wrong passerby and wind up with a .45 in the forehead.

Lots of federal money or taxpayer funding keep these institutions afloat. I'm certain that if a liberal ideology was suppressed a call for investigations and talk of "civil rights" abuses would be raised. Democrats would rise up. Kind of like censorship of one's opposition is acceptable.

Going to a very liberal college im Chicago and listening to the bullshit they spew is ridiculous. They have the teachers think for them and make their minds up, and they do not dare think about anything else or relate to the real world. The entitlement and mindless drones my generation has become is going fuck this country over even more. I just sit in class and smile knowing that when they enter the real world their minds are going to explode. I know what to expect I'm just about to graduate and get out of that hell hole and hopefully get on with CPD. (I know I'll get some negativity for that one)
