Judge Murdered

  • Chicago police say a Cook County judge shot to death Monday morning outside his South Side home might have been the victim of an attempted robbery, though it didn’t appear any possessions were taken from the judge and a woman companion who was wounded.

Citing preliminary information, police said the woman, 52, encountered the gunman by the garage of the two-story brick home in the 9400 block of South Forest Avenue around 4:50 a.m.  Words were exchanged and she was shot once in the leg.

"Upon hearing the commotion and the gunshot, Judge (Raymond) Myles exited his residence," Melissa Staples, the chief of detectives, said at a news conference at police headquarters. "(He) exchanged words with the offender before he was fatally shot multiple times."
It's early in the investigation, and there are far more questions than answers. We'll see who gets arrested and what their background is - because there is always a background.

An actual fair and knowledgeable judge. Ruled by the law and not by his heart which is hard to find these days.

Hard to say this was a "random robbery attempt". Too early to conclude anything. Was it "pay back" for a jail sentence? Who knows? Will let the investigation play out.

OT - No column about the "Professionals" at O'Hare?? Nice job pulling a doctor out of the plane (Sarcasm) - that was my first reaction to a really bad job.

But thinking more about it though, the Aviation Police were put in a really bad position. How else can you remove someone who is not cooperating??? They did not pepper spray him. (at least I did not see any video where they did). They just yanked him out of his seat, but what else could you do?

They get the "bum rap" of being unprofessional when in reality, UNITED was the "unprofessional" in this situation.

Speaking from experience (we were overbooked on a UNITED flight from O'Hare to Richmond, VA about 20 years ago), it is a really bad feeling when you go to sit at your seat, and someone else is sitting there - AND THEY AIN'T BUDGING.

We had to walk off the plane and believe me, you feel like a criminal. PLUS, the agent at the gate was more worried about going on his break than fixing the problem. A supervisor came in and got us on the next available flight, First Class - but it was four hours later and we missed an opening Cocktail reception at this important conference. The airline tickets were purchased five months earlier - so how did UNITED screw it up? They never answered that question. Seems like their business practices haven't changed much in 20 years.

UNITED AIRLINES, the Motel 6 of Airlines. (and that is not really being fair to Motel 6, but you get the idea. UNITED should be the Hilton or Hyatt of the Sky - it isn't.) Customer service? Not then and not now.

Ironically he gave youths who appeared in his courtroom several second chances according to leroy martin and even had them write reports rather than revoking their bond when they violated their bond. Hey big spender, the only non-professional was the so called doctor. Remember it is United's plane and if they say you are gone you are gone. They offered up to 1000 bucks for people to get off the plane. This didn't have to be this bad but it was no one's fault but the DR. Even according to the guy who filmed it, the cops didn't use force until the "dr" started flailing his arms and pushing the cops. Fuck him

You will also notice the grand amount of police officials used when someone of importance is murdered.

The ASA,judges and politicians worse fears someone hunting them down for an old case.

But when an officer is a victim it is part of the job and lets second guess the officer.

Time for the court system to see that second chances is gambling with others lives.

The aviation police officer should have refused to forcibly remove anyone from that plane. The airlines could have offered up to $1350 per seat for voluntary reschedule. They did not and the airlines were wrong for asking the cops to drag the man off the plane. I have had problems with United in the past. During court martial proceedings Monday, Football player Tevin Long was also sentenced to 30 days confinement and ordered forfeiture of pay, the academy announced

He was found guilty of wrongful possession and wrongful distribution of the controlled dangerous substances Alprazolam, an anxiety medication, and Oxycodone, a painkiller, the academy said.

In regards to the writer about the O'Hare incident.
I'm retired from there, so I think I know just a little bit.
The airlines want us to be their bouncers, and won't sign complaints or when they do, they will not back up the employees involved.
Nither the CPD or AVPD get very good training. Many years ago, the feds offered to fund a small 2 week training course for officers assigned to airports. Yep, you guessed it, the brass told them NO.
And aviation has had a bunch of bad bosses ( the last guy told them to run and hide ).
And they steadfastly have declined retired officers offers of assistance. There is one part timer there who wrote the book. I doubt they ever asked him.
They have no mace , tasers or guns.
Rham runs the place and you can tell.
And yes, over the years, our guys (CPD) have done many things just as stupid.

It's tragic that someone had to lose their life to a savage who might as well have been raised by

attack on our judicial system".

I don't think it would have mattered it the judge were a truck driver or a carpenter. The alleged
offender was just another asshole with no desire to live within the rules of civilized society. His
girlfriend dumped his ass and he reacted the way a large portion of the populace has been
conditioned,to act. With violence.

I'm sure I've had him as a judge but can't recall if he's on the side of the law or the criminals. I'm not speaking ill of the dead but these judges are as complicit as the unscrupulous defense attorneys and civil litigator sharks that hoist criminal elements as being victims of some BS police conspiracy. Most judges will never face this threat from the very people they love giving breaks to because of their insular lives in the suburbs. Unfortunately for this judge, he found out the hard way that offenders in Chicago are unpredictable, senseless and incredibly violent.

I doubt this was a targeted homicide due to the initial contact with a female companion but maybe I'm wrong.

Judge PC, however, gets it. She has always been an honest judge who tried to make the right call. I would love to be able to personally thank her. Last I heard she was bounced from Br 50 for being to, well, compliant with criminal statutes. We need more judges like her.

4/11/2017 04:03:00 AM

"Please," pursue offending vehicle?
Hmmmm... It sounds like somebody
is longing for a return to the days when
Chicago Policemen were safe to do society a
solid by doing the extras they were famous for
in bringing BEE-AY-DEE folkses an' peoples
to the bar of justice as demanded by society.

Prayers beforehand for any involved Officers
should any such "pursuit" go sideways...

Once upon a time?

"You Chicago Cops do what you need to do
and do it right to correct this outrage and we
the people of this city will impose on the powers
that be to have your backs in bringing the perpetrators
of this outrage to Justice."

Now?

The SJWs in their war against The Police and
delivery of effective and meaningful Public Safety,
have, in their zeal to prove how much smarter than
The Police that they think they are, have redrawn the
margins of the "gray areas" so tightly as to eventually
be proven as a very real detriment to Public Safety.

And thus you have last year...
And this year doesn't look to be very promising either.

"If we support you Cops, you'll be just as dangerous
as the criminals."

No... Y'all need to NOT want to be underfoot
and in the way when Policemen (or any other
profession) are plying their trade.

Caveat:
Policemen ARE human and sometimes very
human things happen on the way to getting
the job done.

No more or less than with M.Ds, and other
professions but the customer base isn't as
messy, dangerous and unpredictable as
with that in Policing.

With Policemen hyper-focused on staying employed,
staying out of prison and keeping their families, reputations
and assets intact, society can forget about any of the
legendary and luxurious extras Policemen used to have
no problem providing for the overall good.

Everybody was in a hurry to get their licks in
and NOBODY gave any caution as to what
they were asking for in their zeal to "reform"
The Police and Policing.

Ok... Now what?

If suddenly, the Judges, Dart the Fart, and the incompetent States Attorney Foxx start doing something because it took a Judge killing for them to notice their policies are fucked up; that means, the regular people getting robbed and killed are lesser in their eyes. The point, minorities are being used as pawns by the Dem's who are perpetuating racial conflict. There is no place in our justice system to make a group special by not enforcing our laws. It's a domino effect, you start by not enforcing the immigration laws, then you refuse to administer jail time because of a persons color (because you believe it will do more harm), stop enforcing the felony parole statues, special gun law for the so call oppressed and traumatized and you have a featured if not broken justice system. As I see it, the progressive movement, Liberal Dem's, and media, have taken affirmative action to another level which could lead to violence these types are not expecting.

My gut says robbery is down the totem pole of possible reasons and there's a good chance it was someone who had some type of dealing with the judge. (Personal note: when there was a credible threat against me a few years ago it was someone with whom I had nondescript incidental contact and not someone I would have thought of as a suspect.)

I know there's a lot of bitterness about judges and "the system" overall and the blind sided (or worse) "do gooders" who have no idea what it's really like but the truth for the most part is that this is just trying to squeeze two gallons of problems into a quart jar. The resources just aren't there and legislators aren't going to do anything about it except to make it worse.

It's time for some truth. The truth is that we can't lock everyone up -- there isn't enough room. And no matter how many police officer and prosecutors we throw out there it's not going to change a segment of society that has too many issues to fix. It starts in the places we can't reach: the home and the individual person. The truth is also that some of our institutions are part of the problem when they should be part of the solution. Everyone talks a good game when the microphones and cameras are on but the rest of the time it simply isn't working.

That out of the way, I say that I don't worry so much about the people in jail than those who should be there and aren't. And we have to stop being such racists -- dare I use that word? No, I don't mean being racists in the typical sense of the word but it seems that maybe the "do gooder" mentality does more harm than good. It's like when I see a lot of these special programs, giveaways and what have you starting from little kids on up. What are we teaching them? Aren't we just sending a message to them from an early age that we don't think they are as capable as us so we have to make exceptions for them? And that just snowballs and snowballs into adulthood. At some point personal and community responsibility has to be restored.

The truth is that police, prosecutors and judges can only do so much with the few tools provided. Let's be honest: we have a small tool box and often it's like a roofer trying to fix a plumbing problem.

The truth also is that compassion for the right people and at the right times isn't wrong, either. Sometimes the people we get are so institutionalized and how we deal with them is so scripted along those lines that everyone has just given up. Having worked in rural, suburban and urban law enforcement I've seen how odd it can be when some of our urban folk gets into the system elsewhere. Some think and many try to scam the system (forgetting that there are telephones and computers everywhere so they can easily find out how much of a dirtbag they are), others are just their usual antisocial selves but a few are taken aback by what I can only describe as the line from Beverly Hills Cop about how clean the patrol cars are in Beverly Hills. I remember one kid who got into some trouble in a rural area writing the court here asking if he could get his court date moved back because he was going to take the GED test in that jail on his original court date. In spite of the massive failures there are occasionally a few small victories and it's easy to lose sight of them.

As for the judge, my money is on that it wasn't a random robbery.

LMFAO if this is true.

How about this? HELL. FUCKING. NO.

There'll be absolutely no vehicle chase from me unless it directly involves MY family. Ditto foot chase unless it's family, friend or fellow officer involved and important (read: I AIN'T responding to your foot chase for dope, gun... whatever).

And, sorry. This case should get no special treatment because he was a judge. We can't get charged approved when we get spit on, battered, etcetera, but we should pull out all the stops for this?? Nope. Fuck that.

Tragic? Absolutely. Deserving of attention above and beyond any other LEGIT victim? Absolutely not.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The flight crew is in charge of an aircraft, disobeying them is a Federal Offense. The doctor hit an armrest and bloodied himself because he refused a legit order to disembark. If he didn't want to be pulled out of the aircraft like a sack of potatoes, he should have gotten up and left like the other three passengers.

The Aviation PD was tasked with getting him off of the plane, and that they did.

Now we're getting somewhere. The horrible, moronic progressive policies of leniency towards criminals will not change until the officials themselves begin to feel the effect of their actions. When even a judge isn't immune from a thug's bullet, maybe the rest of them will think twice before they coddle criminals.

----------------------------------------
Big Spender, please change your name to Big Moron. Who is going to sign a criminal complaint in this matter? And for what? Criminal Tresspass? For a seat that he already paid for? This is a civil matter all day. The airlines have a policy regarding overbooking and refusing seats - not a law. The police enforce the law. Not corporate policies.

Of all the stupid comments you've posted on this blog, this one has to have been on your top ten dumbest. These aviation security "officers" are nothing but hacks that can't get on real departments, who go around telling everyone they are the police when they are not. Making unarmed traffic stops. Jesus, someone should be embarrassed for them, if they're not ashamed of themselves. And I don't want to hear the bullshit about how many of them are "ex-military". So are a lot of shitty CPD cops. I hate to break the news, but a few years changing oil on Hummvees does not automatically make someone a good cop. Neither does 12 years of combat. They are not the same. Respect the service of veterans, but don't confuse that with making them automatically qualified for every job in the world. The ones that are have no problems getting on the job at real police departments.

Also, I don't care what the uncooperative passenger's past is. Drug dealer, shady doctor, whatever. Last I heard we swore to uphold the Constitution of the United States, which does not take your CQH into consideration as to your rights in a civil matter. The airline was too worried about their profit margin to make the appropriate bribe - already having to transport, lodge, and pay 4 passengers and now fly 4 crew members for free, they stood to loose money even on an overbooked flight. So they didn't want to offer, say, $2k for a seat. Maybe their policy doesn't allow for it. I bet it will now. That's the nature of the cutthroat business of slim profits that airlines claims to be - even after federal bailouts, paid for by OUR TAX DOLLARS. Everyone trying to dirty up the passenger in this instance is the same dirty cop that accidentally forgets to return a knife or other property after an inventory search of a car before tow. Dirty ass motherfuckers who wipe their ass with the Constitution, then cry when they feel their rights are violated because a boss says they don't want to see your lame Harley or flaming skull tattoos on your forearm while in uniform.

There used to be real men on this job. They are nearly extinct. I hope you young cops get your heads out of your fucking asses and never do something as stupid as these aviation hacks did or say something as asinine as "big spender". Stay safe out there and use your god given brains.

Stop the bullshit about aviation police they go through our academy, have to qualify 1 time a year (same as cpd) many are part time coppers in suburbs so stop acting all high and mighty because your cpd, yes I am airport cpd and appreciate the help so many lazy cpd coppers who hide all day and night and it has gotten worse under the new commander OB! have another drink boss!

FYI

The judges have a special person in charge of all there security.
One of the great merit person and wannabe financial detectives.

The title of this secret spot in the Cook County is under The Chief Judges budget.

Maria M Maher
see link (SCC you are a great source)
http://secondcitycop.blogspot.com/2006/05/presenting-our-next-superintendent.html

http://www.chicagoreader.com/chicago/killed-by-a-cop-car/Content?oid=925152

Now that she is soaking up a City pension and is (june 1 2010) 3 year from being vested in a County pension. Oops forgot the salary 107,885$ a year not counting take home car or medical insurance.

Well it looks like Maria forgot to give all those Judges the head up.

If you recall CPD sent out an email a few months back warning all officers about a certain website that researches families.
Word coming down is she just like to puts herself in for out of state training on the counties dime but has not changed any security protocols.

So Maria who does not know general orders as a Chief in a deposition(see above) did not warn anyone about the NET.

For the Trolls in county government all the state attorney and judge address are on the site.

So if you are hired to secure judges what paper work do you turn in?
Have you seen her on TV yet leading the charge?
She is not even calling the AREA she is calling her buddy at HQ who just happen too be a fill in for ED.

Don't need concealed carry at the house Sir. In Illinois an FOID card is all that's needed if you're on your own property, you are legal to the property line of your home/business with an FOID. There are a few robes that have CCL and more with FOID cards. Many others are reluctant to own firearms due to the negative opinion of the 2nd Amendment by their masters in the democrat party or they are just anti-gun . Another possibility is he might of owned a firearm but walked outside without it,sounds crazy but it happens frequently. There are documented incidents of firearm owners answering loud knocking at the door at 02:00 or checking on the dog barking like a maniac at the back door in the middle of the night with the firearm in the nightstand/lock box. Many CCL holders (and a few off-duty Coppers) state they only carry if they think they are going to need it. How you know you're going to need it is beyond me. I remember comments on here not long ago where a guy said he put a snub in his back pocket to take out the garbage and there were comments that he was a paranoid fool.I would rather be considered a "paranoid fool" than an unarmed idiot caught with his pants down.

Star and 02 bars now instructing firearms/CCL

Staples was a PO in 020 in the 90s. I believe she became driver/bodyguard for Miriam Santos the former City of Chicago Treasurer who was convicted in 1999 of mail fraud and attempted extortion. Santos got 40 months. Does anyone remember, didn't Santos stand up for the police against Mayor Daley and after that, the sky fell in on her.

My two cents on the United Flight fiasco: Any copper that thinks the cops were justified in dragging the DR out like that is a moron that I would hate to be stuck working with if your judgement is that shitty. Saw the incident on TV and was praying no CPD guys were involved in that garbage. I don't give a rats ass how full the plane was or what the seat ruling is. Use your common fucking sense. This guy was uncooperative to United staff. He wasn't armed or disturbing the peace of any kind other than not wanting to give up his seat that he paid for. So these idiots drag this dude out like some real criminal all for some civil shit. What a bunch of dumbass people. I guess no one had the sense to tell the United ticket people to ante up and offer/ auction off more money for the seats??? I'm sure someone would of taken the offer. Hmmm... Let's see over 1k in seat offer vs thousands now in a law suit and bad PR for United. You tell me not one of these airport cops had the fucking common sense to explain that to the flight staff before going hands on?? Remeber this guy was not a threat other than not wanting to give up seat that he paid for. It's this kind of shit that makes us all look bad.

And to all those guys who cite the federal aviation law etc.. GTFOH okay Tackleberry. It ain't that serious this guy wasn't a terrorist or unruly passenger until United decided to fuck with him. Choose your battles and use your brains. Who's law are you enforcing? United Corporations or the Supreme Courts ? Call a Sgt and let them explain it to the flight staff. It's your job as a police officer to sift through the bullshit and provide conflict resolution through the path of least resistance. Dragging a guy out when someone can be easily offered more money is not it. It ain't your fucking money it's the airlines. They have plenty. But guess who won't have any now. You when you get thrown under the bus and fired. Need to Exercise better judgement and ask questions. You're supposed to be a police officer not a bouncer.

Next time look at your ticket and listen to the pre-flight instructions dickhead. The crew is in charge of the aircraft. The doctor is still in a Chicago area hospital and already lawyered up with Corboy and Demetrio. The gate employees made an error, that why he was boarded. The other passengers got off of the flight and received compensation from the airline.

....Of all the stupid comments you've posted on this blog, this one has to have been on your top ten dumbest. These aviation security "officers" are nothing but hacks that can't get on real departments, who go around telling everyone they are the police when they are not. ....
-----------------------------------------------
Top Ten Dumbest? Aviation security officers are nothing but hacks?

Who are YOU to make ANY judgement? I did not knock them, I said they had a bad job of cleaning up a mess that got out-of-hand because of a poor policy UNITED had.

Did your reading comprehension miss this in my comment -

"They get the "bum rap" of being unprofessional when in reality, UNITED was the "unprofessional" in this situation."

As to your rant (I read through it several times to make sure I followed your "logic") you make a point about an excuse for the Airlines "slim profits -

"So they didn't want to offer, say, $2k for a seat. Maybe their policy doesn't allow for it. I bet it will now. That's the nature of the cutthroat business of slim profits that airlines claims to be - even after federal bailouts....."
---------------------------------------------

You then rant about cops with tattoos which has nothing to do with the O'Hare incident. Let's get back to it.

UNITED's gate supervisor - whoever that was - made a bad decision in letting people on, then having to "bribe them" (in your words) to get off with some dollar amount. (FYI - FAA states on domestic flights they can offer up to $1,350 on International up to $5,000).

So they didn't even offer the max amount. The doctor was yanked off the plane (I still don't fault the Aviation police as they did not have much choice) and the additional crew who could have been put on another airlines got on the plane.

Everyone arguing that it's federal law.. blah..blah..blah..to get off the plane when requested, you are correct. He resisted. He never should have been put in that position. So now let's all see the result unfold.....

Did any of you look at social media today? The same "news platform" that tells the story on what you do in a single call, did the same thing to the incident on the plane. It put the whole thing under a microscope and added a Million comments and pictures - all negative.

So now let's do the math. They could have offered more money -but someone had the great executive skill to say no, we are not offering anymore. They could have, but they didn't.

SO, instead of offering $1,350, or even more, $2,000. They now have a PR disaster that is NOT going to end anytime soon. Just like the News Media played the Abatte tape over and over and over, they will do the same thing with the videos recorded by the smartphones.

Did you have a chance to watch the stock market Tuesday? Specifically UAL (United)? They LOST $850,000,000 in corporate value from this incident (it was more at one point, but it came back up a little) Better wonder if your pension fund has UAL in it.

So because someone in their job was too stupid to go a little higher - $1,350 (which they could have according to FAA), they lost the company $850,000,000 and that is NOT the final number. Wait til you add in boycotts by passengers (and there will be, thanks to social media) and more importantly, China is talking about boycotting UNITED which will really impact their profits.

Agreed aviation police did the job, CPD is so short handed they help out a lot, if CPD was on scene same scenario, why is it that all the disturbance calls by airlines police res[pond no complaints signed and people are thrown out of airport, would be better to be bouncers at "da club" airport coppers its a new world no complaints no enforcement stop the madness the airlines have billions and will blame coppers!

I knew a lot of the Aviation PD, worked at O'Hare a long time. Feel bad for the Aviation PD that got caught up in all of this. The head HR guy who came in with Evans used to work for United. Typical city crap, guy doesn't have the director title, but he's been running the show. Highly doubtful that the Aviation PD will get a fair hearing. Already seen Rahm crowing about how Ginger (Evans) took care of things.

Happy to be retired, don't have to deal with those nitwits in 400 anymore. Leaving Chicago soon.

Perhaps the judge wanted him to walk his dog? In Chicago it could be anything or nothing at all. People get shot everyday for no reason at all. It happened to a judge it happened to a junkie same same but the judge shooter will be caught. No fetal cops on this job.

I don't know Staples, but what qualifications does she have to be chief of detectives?

4/11/2017 08:32:00 AM

What??? Do you live under a rock? She was a Sgt in Area 4 HGS and returned later as the HGS Lt.

If you don't like her, or you're disappointed "a man" isn't the Chief then that's on you....
Staples knows her shit and delegates to the competent Dets and keeps the dogs away so they don't mess anything up.

Will it get solved? Nobody can predict that but I can promise you she'll make sure it gets handled.

I know you're trying to help by providing where she was previously assigned but it backfires. You see we all know that most Sgs without clout, fresh out of academy training have to hit a district. It is the clout heavy that get assigned the choice spots outside of patrol, i.e. Detective Division, Intel, Org. Crime, etc. They are just being groomed for their next promotion. It looks legit, as if people have actually climbed the ranks, but of course as we know, in most cases it's all smoke and mirrors. I would rather see what police work these individuals have done over their illustrious careers, to get a real idea of who deserves a merit bump. I know countless men and women on this job who would have excelled had they been given the same opportunities that clout provides the chosen ones.

FYI I used to work in reservations for United over twenty years ago before gettting on CPD. I was trained as a supervisor to handle disputes on the telephone. We were told that travel certificates like the ones being offered to get off the plane cost the airline pennies on the dollar. They encouraged us to hand them out like candy. There's a couple reasons why this remains true. One it keeps customers flying United even if they had a bad experience. And two especially today there are all kinds of fees the airline can earn by keeping the seats filled. Bags changes the purchasing of reserved seats etc. This gate agent screwed up by boarding everyone then looking for volunteers to get off. Don't know all the facts though, this four person crew could have walked up at the last minute stating they needed to be on the flight happens all the time. Gate agent still should have offered travel certificates until she had the four volunteers. Hate to say it but that gate agent man or woman was probably having a bad day and really dropped the ball. It's a tough job, there's a lot of stress to board the flight quickly and get it out "on-time." The kicker here is this was a "United Express" flight. This means it's a small no name airline that owns and operates a few planes to short distance routes. United allows these small companies to use there name which makes it appear as a seamless transfer to get to your final destination. It's on the ticket in small print. So basically the gate agent probably was not a United employee. Not payed what United employees get and doesn't receive benefits United employees get sonnothing to really lose. Another way the airlines screw themselves trying to save a couple of bucks. This lawsuit could sink this small airline if United doesn't cover it.

The Sergeants pictured in the Tribune article were out of uniform. Baseball hats with ties. Shitbags.

4/11/2017 01:40:00 AM

Wow. That's all it takes to be a shitbag now? Wear a baseball cap with a tie? You really need to learn to focus on important shit. You don't get inspector pay by whining on the blog, so save it.

4/11/2017 09:51:00 AM

I'm tired of this "Hill Street Blues" look these last years. We as an organization look like shit. I'm retired now but when I came on the job we all wore a uniform. We all looked professional. Fuck it! Why don't we just wear blue jeans and T-shirts?

4/11/2017 06:22:00 PM

You must be a real joy to live with. A retired cop reading the blog and bitching about uniform standards? We should follow Leory martin's standards and suspend officers for any violations despite the circumstances? Life sucks for the street officers so give them a break. Morale is horrible, supervision non-existent. Stay fetal.

Couldn't agree more. Poor acting job by the "doctor" afterward too.

Yeah I'm retired from the airport and believe me we had some beauts in 050 too.

The entire situation is set up for "fail" the way they have the two units set up and this kind of thing was bound to happen. These airlines are assholes too, I really wish these guys would have told United to bugger off and handle their own consumer issues.

ust heard that the "Rev" Jackson will be picketing UA at O'Hare tomorrow afternoon.
I'm sure a substantial donation to PUSH can make it all go away!
If you are assigned to O'Hare have fun and remember you are being filmed.
I guess he is too busy to demonstrate for the murdered judge.................OR The father & son shooting each other or the 2 8yr olds or really anybody else for that matter

I know little about the aviation police officers, except that they are state certified and the city does not think too much of them so they won't let them carry a firearm. That is telling by the way. But, why would one of these officers physically drag a passenger off of the aircraft without a signed complaint by United? Are they that damn dumb? I bet this has been going on for years where the airlines use the cops as their pimps. The captain has every right under law to order anyone off of the aircraft and if you refuse, then they should sign a complaint and have you arrested. But, this guy did nothing wrong. he did not violate a criminal offense, just a request for the airline to give someone else his seat which he paid for, by the way and was allowed to board. United mishandled this, their manager mishandled this and the DOA cops mishandled this. All of them will be lucky to keep their jobs.
