That Was Quick

  • Chicago police are questioning a person of interest Tuesday evening in the fatal shooting of a longtime Cook County judge and the wounding of his girlfriend outside his Far South Side home, according to law enforcement sources.

Judge Raymond Myles, 66, was slain shortly before 5 a.m. Monday when he came to the aid of his girlfriend outside his home in the West Chesterfield neighborhood after she was shot in the leg by an assailant.

The brazen attack, believed to be the first fatal shooting of a Chicago-area judge in more than three decades, touched off a massive investigation.
Keep your ears open.

Hopefully this lead or other leads will result in an arrest and the POS given a life sentence, cuz we in the great state of Illinois don't execute people.

Listen learned here is never step out of the house to investigate screams without a firearm.

RIP. No one deserves what happened to him. When criminals lose all fear of the criminal justice system, this is what happens. I hope this was random. No one is untouchable.

Maybe the offender is one of the people parolees that the new Kim Foxx administration says they'll no longer prosecute when they violate their parole. What a brilliant idea! NOT!!!!!!

Wow, if solved this would be in record time. Should regular victims expect the same treatment? My bad we all know the answer.

In the meantime the great state of Arkansas is set to execute 7 people by the end of the month. The reason being...... The drug they use is about to expire! Now there's having your priorities in order, don't want to waste the drug so expedite the process. God I can't wait to retire where things still make sense!

Probably an acquaintance, a parolee, a neighborhood chap just clowning, and he crazy.
We won't hear about the suspects past because it will cast a shadow on Chicago Values.
Plenty of excuses but no accountability.
Once again its the Police acting Stupidly that started all this, mm-hmmm.

Stay Fetal, write the report and let The Area follow up.

We just lost a judge who believed that G.E.D. certificates were the answer to rehibilitatating aspiring criminals. The day before a person was shot at 26 and California in the weekend tally as sourced by heyjackass.com. A week or so ago a defendant on bond for a gun case attending court in the morning call at 26th street, shot some guy numerous times in the stomach. About a month ago, some gangster gets bonded out and is killed blocks away from 26th and California while entering onto the Stevenson X-way.

Lots of violence associated with the world renown Restoritive Justice Hub which was formerly known as 26 & Cal. Time to re-program those HunchLab algorithms to include known "hangouts" of those who are criminally justice involved.

Wont this set a bad precedent with the public? That only big time cases get this much attention and manpower so early?

Suntimes indicates the getaway driver basically turned himself in for questioning. Maybe he thought he could collect the $25,000 reward the FBI was offering anyone with info that led to the arrest of the killer/killers, you know, I was there but had no idea that this person I was with intended on robbing anyone. There not always bright as we know.
Yet others on the blog indicate there is more to the story then an armed robbery gone bad, Hmmm

To whomever wrote the clearance rate for murders is 10.3%, you apparently have no idea what you are talking about and/or need to get your eyes checked. It’s 43.40%.
