New Blog - Bucktown Crime Data
There's a new blog on the horizon, Bucktown Crime Data.
The author has been a correspondent of ours for a while now, and is the person behind a lot of the graphs and spreadsheets we post occasionally. He's branching out. And while his blog may concentrate on the Bucktown area (014), we're hoping that he'll continue with the number crunching and statistical analysis that allows everyone to spot the trends Rahm pretends aren't existing.

After watching episode 2 of the Vietnam War airing on WTTW, i couldn't help comparing the lies from the top command staff sent to the Pentagon to that of our elite gold badge club. History does repeat itself when it comes to lies from the brass - whether in a rice paddy or a city street. Up yours, Rahmocide.

Maybe the blog can publish the true stats from the coveted FBI of the race of the victims and offenders in the 8 index crimes. The FBI has been collecting this data via UCR reports that Chicago has been a part of for the last 40 yrs that I know of. Let's see the data. I'll bet blacks are 85-90% of the crime rate in Chicago. Maybe that is why Black Lives Don't Matter. HA, HA
What is the racial breakdown of the victims and the offenders.

Bucktown Damen-North-Milwaukee area was an original gay bathhouse/reefer madness/ junkie bowery in the post war era, especially the Cock O' the North tavern and Wicker Park proper, all the while maintaining clean working class blocks up until the mid-late 70's when there were factories, businesses small and large, jobs aplenty for anyone, instead of condos, handouts and no bail.
A brief pause in debauchery for 80's gentrification and WHAM...Section 8 sprawl and the violent crime spread beyond the Humboldt Park fringe.
Crime in 014 has indeed made a comeback, but it never has it been this bad as the last 25-30 years.
History repeating itself... but I/F, The Busy Bee or The Oak won't be coming back.
