Sixteen years later and still the greatest nation on earth and under GOD!!! NO PC HERE!
I still can't watch TV shows or documentaries about that day. God bless America.
Almost 3,000 souls including 343 FDNY firefighters and 60 police officers. And that doesn't even include scores of first responders who later died from illnesses related to working on "the pile".
Its been rough since then.
God Bless ALL those that perished that day, including 72 law enforcement officers and 343 firefighters, some of our nations best and bravest fellow first responders. May they all Rest In Peace.
I will not forget.
So many are trying to make us forget. When was the last time the planes striking the WTC were shown? The plane crashing into the Pentagon? The Falling Man, God rest his soul.
I Remember.
I Hope You and Yours will too.
And to think there are people who worked on the who were denied disability. So many victims of the cancerous materials. As I watch this happen on a TV downtown it looked like a movie, one station showed people jumping and when the towers fell there were immediate stories of the first responders and others who ran back into the building to save others. I will never forget.
God bless all .. Brave souls called upon that morning had no idea .. Never forget

Never forget. Regardless of time, this attack and the deaths that are still occurring should be burned into the psyche of every American this should be taught in schools and discussed frequently because we are still targets and the evil that conducted this attack is still there training and planning for the next attack. Be vigilant and prepare.
Unfortunately, too many have forgotten.

I will never forget. I still cry to this day.
We all remember where we were when we learned of this, as we all remember where we were when we heard JFK was shot.
The security measures taken since at airports, stadiums, schools, etc are something.
Too, this country (and the world, I guess) has embraced this "diversity" crap, much to our detriment! Look at Europe! Norway, etc.
Patriots, police, first responders, at times, are "haters" or called other names.
Words, cultures and more are being, sadly, redefined.
The young ones will never know how good this place once was.
Personally, I always feel protected by law, police. It is a shame you have been demonized.
Prayers/thoughts to all in law community. It gets old, but "thank you."

I was in NYC in July and visited the 9/11 Memorial/Museum with my Wife and Daughter. Even after all these years it is still heart-breaking.
28 consecutive years of grifters.....Bush...Clinton...Bush redux....Obama......
.....testament to the resiliency of the American spirit that we still manage to not choose to submit, in utter resignation, to the fate of all who confuse meekness with weakness, humility with futility and kindness with blindness.

More than half the department was not on the job that day 9-11 and it reflects the attitude of the chosen who lead us and those that follow after were gone. It comes down to this " kid you don't know shit " and boss " you ain't shit " ! It is up to the next generation to rebuild a once proud police department. Last year I watched the most powerful documentary I've seen covering 9/11.
It was called '15 Septembers Later'.
The roughest, toughest man couldn't watch that and not shed a tear.
9-11-2001 changed my life, I will never forget.
God Bless those who parished that day, the brave first responders and people who ascended into those towering infernos, the families who lost loved ones and GOD BLESS AMERICA.

I was working midnights and had just turned turned in the radios and car keys.
My partner was turning in the "humper" in the Sergeant's office. We all huddled around his desk watching it on the computer monitor,he said we're at war now boys!
Burned in my memory,

I was on a military base, on orders, and did not hear it mentioned once before flipping on the tv that night. I was like wow. That was quick.
