So this appeared as part of "Rahm's Chicago Values" tour on the underpass at 59th viaduct between Western and Damen a few days ago:
At last report, it had been "erased" by the Graffiti Blasters.
Aside from its embrace of the obvious false narrative (we had those unsightly teeth fixed and our skull collection is much larger), one has to wonder what City department or grant (or aldercreature) funded this public "art."

Quick questions. Who was actually involved in the supposed 6 training exercises other then maybe swat? I know of no one in any district that has been involved. No one I know in 001 or 018 has been part of anything other then a little traffic control for an exercise.
Here is the best part. I work in as an ET in forensics and we have had ZERO training on how to process a scene like that in Vegas. Pray that the FEDS come in to process the scene of something like that in Chicago.

Sometime in the past twenty years, the term "vandalism" was replaced with "graffiti artist."
Years ago, one such "artist" fell thru the glass window of an old factory he was spray painting/damaging. The media never labeled this as vandalism or such. It was the first time I heard the term "graffiti artist." The owner of the old factory, when asked for comment said "it's marked no trespassing."
That was easily 20 years ago. It's only gotten worse. I'm sure the parents (white well to do kid, suburbs) rather than wondering where the kid went wrong, thought something different.

Lately coppers have been trying not to do shit, myself included, but sometimes you get a call and the shit just plops in your lap and you have no choice.

Stupid thing for the City to allow to remain (assuming it wasn't City funded). Does nothing but sow distrust between the community and the people that protect it.
But if we want to be honest and objective, then you can't simultaneously argue/complain about the City's financial priorities at the same time completely minimizing the report discussing police overtime. I understand that families need to be fed and tuition paid, but that's the case no matter where you work.
One of the reasons this country is going down the sh1tter is because we have this inability to approach any problems with an iota of objectivity. It's all absolutes - we're 100% right and you're 100% wrong.

My wife and I have been there recently and we're told this Max's Deli on SKOKIE Valley Rd in Highland Park, has new owners.
I had on two previous occasions a fabulous corned beef sandwich. Portion was huge!

Why should he pay for them when rahm will fix it, and the fed will rebuild it? The politicians fuck things up here and down there. There has to be more to that story when the ex/LK is involved.
This summer I couldn't get an extra day off to save my soul. I put in personal day, baby baby furlough day, comp time, anything and everything just to add am extra day off and every one of myers requests was denied. The city cancelled most of my days off during the summer, Now they are beefing that I made overtime. F*ck you - I wanted the days off and the city (Rahmacide) denied me.
You can't let the police numbers dwindle down to nothing, not hire policemen for years, and then beef that the few policemen that are left are making over time.

Where did you come up with these numbers. 126 started last week been a class of 100 each month. Go to the academy and see how crowded it is
