Another CCL Defends Self
- A 21-year-old man was shot and killed Thursday night in a Target parking lot on Chicago's Southwest Side.
He walked up to a 2014 Nissan Altima parked in the 1900-block of West 33rd Street in the city's McKinley Park neighborhood and started talking to the person inside around 8 p.m., police said.
Moments later, witnesses told police they heard gunfire. The 21-year-old man suffered gunshot wounds to his back and chest. He was transported in critical condition to Stroger Hospital, where he later died. The victim has not been identified.
Here we go again - the VICTIM is the 27 year old Concealed Carrier. The OFFENDER is the dead guy who tried to stick him up. The Case Report will read the same thing, but the lib-tarded leftist Rahm-ass-licking media (but we repeat ourselves) think that anyone who gets shot is a "victim."
- The 27-year-old man was taken into custody and two weapons were recovered. Police said that the 27-year-old man was released without charges.
The Chicago Tribune reports the shooting started out as an armed robbery attempt. The victim reportedly had a gun when he walked up to the vehicle and tried to rob the older man, who the newspaper said is a concealed carry license holder.
The 27-year-old man reportedly fired his semi-automatic weapon - one of the two weapons later found in the vehicle, along with expended shell casings - after a struggle in the car. He was reportedly returning to the scene when officers stopped him in the 3300-block of South Damen.
While we don't wish a reporter any particular harm, we do wonder how they'd write about themselves if they were on the receiving end of a similar situation and defended themselves properly and legally - hahaha...we know, complete fantasy. "Reporters" in Chicago do what they're told by the politicians and licking the boots of their liberal masters.

He isn't a victim. But he is very dead. Here is how it should read,

This whole situation was shady. Dude drove off and left the scene afterwards, probably to stash the drugs from a dope deal gone wrong. While yes, he does have a ccL, they got him listed as GD and he has multiple arrests, and only misdemeanor convictions. So.....ya. Might’ve been more to it. But hell yes the “victim”, is not a fkin victim. He is a damn offender thru and thru.

Something fishy about this.....might wanna hold back on the ccl holder being an honest to goodness victim. Why leave the scene? Maybe to get rid of the dope he was there to sell? Or get rid of the money he had to buy the dope? Either way this isn't as clear cut as you think!

I am happy that it looks like the CPD has treated him with courtesy and respect in a very stressful and upsetting situation.
Two weapons were "recovered"? Was one owned by the CCL holder? WTF? With the high cost of a decent sidearm, no thanks to the crook co. tax on weapons and ammo, not to mention the the confiscatory tax or "fee" for obtaining said license the least thing the police should do is let CCL holders slip into the wind.
Yeah the news media is a POS. Never, ever trust it. They would rather write an article exposing a few cops then actually report on the corrupt system that creates them, protects them.
I read that article and compared it with one from Alabama and thought, "My God we live in a city ran by jagoffs" along with their hand puppets.

Why was the victim of the robbery held in custody for two days. From the beginning it was clear what the case involved, yet this poor guy is held for 48 hours. Lawsuit?
When there is no accountability for juvenile offenses, shoplifting,,theft, burglary,robbery. It turns into armed robbery and then murder sooner or later. Chicago values. Gotta keep promoting them to the next level.
I feel he was about to do the right thing and just leave the scene, but got cold feet and returned. The Target at that location has camera's and I'm sure if he's a normal thinking person; those camera's changed his mind no doubt, and caused him to return.

Several people questioning why the victim left the scene but I would ask why would the victim stick around? What law requires a victim to remain at a crime scene and notify police? What's wrong with that citizen taking matters in his own hands. That's why we have courts to dispense justice. The accused would have been given a fair trial and punished accordingly. Instead he's being buried, it's just not fair. Why would anyone not give up their property without a fight, the criminals are depending on this. Those actions prevented a hardworking crook from earning a living, and especially bad right before Xmas.

This is why I tell anyone who will listen, if you can, get into the wind, fuck staying on the scene; that means your gun is taken from you, now your held for 48hrs. and identified to the bad guys relatives.
How can Target be a gun free zone??? Think about that for a minute. This reminds me of the Fib reporter last week who gave her car away, to some "polite" citizens, and then claimed she was carjacked, wtf? Fuck it, just leave. There is no law that states after you defend yourself you have to hang around, just leave.
