The 9th district commander went to roll calls the other day to say Good job everyone! BUT make more traffic stops and make sure to let some of the stops go so the public can think nicely of the police again... HAHAHAHAH YEA OK. My guess is 003 is up for comstat this week. Always happens where I’m at too. They NEED those numbers for comstat. They just can’t let the number thing go. Always have to measure us on numbers. The new flavor is TSS cards.

Hey Sgt... don’t you have the number for copa maybe they can get you activity on your sector since they are already full pledge homicide inspectors (civilians) they can come out and do traffic stops for you, movers, ISR’s maybe we can get them to take over mental calls, domestic calls and respond to person shot. That would be awesome makes my job a lot easier. Thxs 024 copper.

I worked in 003 for years and had the pleasure of working for some great old school bosses.Needless to say somebody forgot to tell this clout hack sgt that showing up for work and answering calls in a shithole like 003 is hard work in itself.
Even tho the dumbass merit sarge put it out on a PDT which will be digitally saved forever nows a good time to read this again and use it as your guide when pressured for any type of activity--- modify as necessary (yes - I have saved a copy to use at time like this). One of the best to froms ever written IMHO----
At the request of Lt. Schmeer #225 R/O is submitting this report in response for arriving at VSWO checkoff (Housing North) sans "activity".
R/O was unaware that a minimum activity threshold or index existed as a condition of participating in the VSWO program.
Moving forward, R/O will make a concerted effort to comply with any activity mandates requested of him by Lt. Schmeer #225 under the condition "activity" is clearly defined and tendered to R/O explicitly in writing by the requestor.
This should do the trick nicely so you can go about your day worrying about whats really important, you and your partners safety and avoiding the trick bag this job has become. Remember--- FETAL until 29 and a day!!!

003 is filled with merit bosses who should never have been promoted. The BLM Caps Sgt MJ is a perfect example. One night she worked OT on the street for once on 1st watch and didn't like the fact "her people" we're being issued an ANOV for DOPW. The offender refused to sign so as they were putting cuffs on him she grabbed the officer by the shoulder and ordered him not to make the arrest. She took the officers ANOV book and ripped up all the tickets and told the officer he was being petty and to "get rid of that carbon copy too." Too bad they went over the air with their stop and it's all on audio and that carbon copy never got destroyed. Marching with BLM eventually is gonna catch up with you real soon

He's probably in like his third week as a Sgt and thinks he owes the commander for keeping him on 3rd watch. You don't owe them shit. If you stick around after the next Management Bid, which should be soon, you will probably be the only one. 003 never has Sgt's because it sucks there and a Sgt should have enough time on the job to realize it, unlike some of the newer officers.
Tickets = Revenue generation.
More tickets = more $$$$.

Whether by merit or legit testing (I use that term loosely), if they have their sights on promos they will be happy to stand on the backs of the blue shirts to get it.
