Shots Fired at Police
- Four people were in custody Thursday afternoon after shots were fired at officers in the Gresham neighborhood on the South Side.
The shooting happened about 3:20 p.m. in the 8000 block of South Sangamon, Chicago Police said. No injuries were reported.
Police could not immediately say if officers returned fire.
No one hurt, so that's a good thing.

Off topic but a question...heard that last night (Friday evening), an on-duty had a medical emergency and got into an accident somewhere around 61st and Ashland. Read that his condition was not known, heard he passed. Also heard a child was injured, and possibly expired. No confirmation on it though. Does anyone have the real story? No updates on any local news sites.
Don't worry about it. Someone asked if there was a 10-1 on zone 8 on zone 6. Dispatcher said it wasn't het concern saying that it was zone 8 prob. Sums up police safety!
It's not a felony to shoot at the police anymore under Kim Foxx.

No one was hurt. Well, I'm glad no Police Officers were hurt, but if the article read four shitheads killed in gunfire exchange with Police, that would also hurt no one's feelings because they'll be out again before the inks dry on the Police reports!

Are you fucking serious?! I’m not one to file complaints but, if true, he/she needs to be suspended. I would’ve snapped on that asshole over the zone. I support being fetal but we need to be there for each other. I just read that the shooter shot the vehicle responding enforcement officer was in and the officer also exchanged shots. Glad no officers were injured.

Maybe Brodsky should set up an account where a check or money order can be sent, to avoid the liberals and anarchist's like Rachael Perrotta of Elston Ave.
Recently I was at a certain location and ran into a PO on no Pay status, and reached into my wallet and gave him USC to put food on his table.
We can all avoid the A$$hole$ like Rachael from knowing our business.
Maybe one day Rachael will have a life threatening issue or disease, and we can shut her Go fund me page down.
Not surprised about the GoFundme Shutdown, they also shutdown the account for JVD's family's bills... Even though it wasn't setup to use money for his "Defense Fund".... The JVD one was for mounting bills for his family (If I recall correctly, GFM still shut it down... But they'll allow other fund raisers for bail for civilians accused of crimes... Just goes to show...

Don’t understand how they can close them down. Thought people had a right to donate to who they wanted and anyone could have a Go Fund Me page as long as they were doing nothing illegal

Won’t be the Patrolmans Credit Union. They must be having their own problems. They just allowed CTA employees to become members. Let’s see how that works out and find out why they did that. CTA, who’s next?
