- Five people were killed and seven others were wounded Tuesday in shootings across Chicago.
The five people gunned down were the latest of 13 shooting deaths in the city in the first nine days of 2018, according to Chicago Sun-Times data.
The violent night wrapped up with a spate of shootings that left seven people shot — three fatally — over the span of four and a half hours.

Always thought that also, at least the b.s code jobs that would happen on the beat where assigned ! Vri could be more beneficial if it was implemented right ! P.S whoever the boss is that oversees it now is a complete idiot !

Never like pissing off a partner, but while on VRI I would seriously think "we can totally take that traffic crash, missing person report, hold down the scene, etc..." I sure as hell don't enjoy any of those, but if I'm earning time and a half then why not? I could give two fucks if anyone would have appreciated it, at least I'd have gone home without trying to be useless. When it's all said and done, no movies but still an easy 3 hondo, and a pissed off partner who is a big boy and will get over it.
