And his taxpayer-funded $125,000 in annual workers’ compensation and disability payments isn’t enough to maintain the lifestyle his estranged wife and fellow ex-con Sandi Jackson has become accustomed to, he says.
So he’s asking a Washington, D.C., judge to order the sale of the $2 million home where Sandi lives with her mother and the couple’s 14-year-old son and 17-year-old daughter.
The kids can temporarily move into a D.C. home owned by his father, Jesse Jackson Sr., lawyers for Jackson Jr. say in a court filing.
It certainly is amazing how well the Jacksons have done without ever holding a real job in their lives. It doesn't seem to have bought Junior any class though.

Even with the high salaries they made with government jobs how could they afford a house in Chicago and a two million dollar house in Washington DC? Plus all the airfares back and forth. I always thought I was a better man than jjjr or John F Kennedy Jr. Given the same opportunity I would have accomplished more than either.
Jesse Sr. was not at MLK's side when he was killed. He was in Memphis but when he got the word he got out of Dodge at the speed of light. Put ketchup on a white shirt, held it up in the State Legislature and claimed that it was King's blood. Reporter for Trib, Barb Reynolds wrote this in a book, Jesse Jackson the Man and the Myth. She had to get out of town. Too many death threats and the book was removed from Kroch's window downtown (Daley didn't want any more riots). Reynolds went onto to Harvard for her Masters and eventually ended up with a talk show on Public TV.
Are the Jackson's still around? Are they still relevant? Haven't seen any of those critters in front of a camera in a long time...maybe Chicago media has wised up a little bit. NAH!

None of his children attended a CPS school and he was able to afford college for all of them and not working a 9 to 5 gig. Not jealous but with the juice he had at one point, clearly he could have helped out. But then again, you only have power if you can wield it, so why bring up people when you can keep your scratch and blame whitey? I used to attend PUSH meetings, waste of time, all the praying and donations were doing a damn thing for my family. I busted my ass and earned my measly earnings. My wife an I have raised three kids without link, without housing assistance, without welfare cash assistance, paying for our own health insurance by the way, without anything but wic while they were babies and a few months of transition in a switch of breadwinner status imposed upon us through no choice of our own - drunk drivers will do that to families sometimes.
Regardless, with 30 grand a year give or take, we have lived a simple life, and have actually managed to carve out a tiny little piece of America to live out or days remaining in this world, turning out two of three willing to serve in our armed forces, one of which wears a law enforcement badge.
