Wildwood Principal Resigns
- Wildwood School principal Dr. Mary Beth Cunat abruptly retired this week. Cunat’s retirement on June 6 comes days after complaints from parents that a guest speaker at the school’s "Career Day" uses derogatory and threatening statements about police on social media.
In a June 6 letter to the school community, Cunat said that she was retiring due to a "combination of my health, my beautiful new twin granddaughters and less demanding but very compelling opportunities." The letter did not mention the school’s recent career day.
Cunat, who became Wildwood’s principal 8 years ago, issued an apology to parents on June 1, a week after Ethan Ethos, who describes himself as a "vocalist, organizer and abolitionist" on Facebook spoke at the school on May 25. His Facebook page includes the term "CPDK," which is an acronym for "Chicago Police Department Killer" and also uses a profane hip-hop slang term against the police.
This came on the heels of a brand new four year contract, so we have our doubts about her reasons for leaving a nice secure spot. Perhaps the very public and embarrassing protests planned for 12 June, along with more than a few systematic dismantlings of her self-serving letter to the parents as she attempts to paint herself and her lib-tarded progressive political efforts in a better light than that of a supporter of killing police officers might have something to do with it.
But this is a good example of what regular citizens can accomplish if they get motivated enough. Take note opponents of Alderasshole Arena and Rahm.

On June 5, 2018, the Chicago Tribune’s Naperville Sun ran a story in which the leader of a west suburban gun control organization reported that she was holding a car wash to benefit gun control behind the Bill Kay Chevrolet auto dealership. Naturally, the wording of the article would lead readers to believe that Bill Kay was affiliated with the benefit car wash.
Bill Kay Chevrolet has since contacted the ISRA to report that the dealership is not affiliated with the car wash. Likewise, the Tribune has, on June 11, re-released their story with clarifying language that accurately identifies the location of the benefit car wash.
Now that the Tribune has corrected its article, the ISRA is advising its members that the Bill Kay Auto group is no way involved in the car wash and that gun owners should feel free to keep Bill Kay in mind when shopping for a new or used vehicle.

It was a settlement not a judgement. The city can't appeal something the city agreed to.
Even if it was a judgement, if you appeal you pay interest on the amount if you lose the appeal.
The city might well be getting off cheap. Who knows how much of an award a jury might give out. And who knows what might come to light during discovery.

But stay far away from Michigan where the judges are even more corrupt than those here in Illinois, and where Family Court Judges like Margaret Bakker, drunk on their own power, can suspend your parental rights on a whim and violate of your right to due process for indefinite periods of time (this is happening to a friend’s former client right now).
Michigan judges consistently rank at the bottom of the judicial cesspool and make raising your child in that state extremely risky-and yes, even good parents with no criminal records are not safe from persecution. Michigan judges, particularly family court judges, are in the news on an almost weekly basis because they hold themselves accountable to no one, and because absolute power corrupts absolutely.
Oh, and Judge Bakker’s fiefdom sits smack in the middle of that bucolic rural utopia you described above. Allegan County. Consider yourself warned.
