Forty-What Now?
- A 63-year-old father of 43 children was found beaten to death Sunday afternoon in his home on Chicago's West Side.
The body of John Hearring -- known as Nicholas -- was discovered with head trauma in his upstairs apartment in the 1000-block of North Leamington Avenue in the South Austin neighborhood.
Multiple family members confirmed that he had 43 children.
Yeah, we had to read it twice to make sure, too.
We can just barely afford the couple that we've got and this guy had forty-three? He must have held down four jobs, nine-days-a-week, 385 days a year without a single vacation or break just to afford the first 30 kids. He surely had all sorts of time for them and their Little League games, birthdays, play dates and eventual church weddings.

The media writes that as if that is not only normal but is virtuous. In fact, it is rebrabate. I'm sorry that he was murdered but has society completely gone off the rails that we can talk about that sort of life as if it is to be celebrated? This sperm donor was most certainly great at sperm donating but certainly not good at fathering as how could he be with that many running around. I one dealt with a guy on the west side who was with one of his four year olds. He could not answer any questions about his kids' ages, names or even how many kids he had. He had to ask the four year old. I think he figured out that he had twelve kids and a few the same age as the four year old. We are paying for all these kids.

I’d like to see the press follow up on this story. Interview the 43 kids and their mother. Well wait, maybe there’s multiple mothers. The people want to know. How many sexual partners did this guy have and how many kids did each have? How did this guy support these children? Perhaps we can all learn from what a stellar father and provider he was to his 43 children. Inquiring minds want to know, we demand to know!

1209 S Racine early 70s, woman had 13 kids, knew one of them was missing but didn't know which one. Had to round up as many of her kids as possible and after a round table discussion we came to the conclusion that the 13 year old female hasn't been seen for at least a week. Make all the notifications,finish the paper the best I could and as I was leaving, momma tells me the missing female had her 3 month old baby with her.�� Just another day in the ghetto.
