Here's how sad this job has become. Unit 124 is staffed better than 020. The academy has become way too bloated to the point that it out staffs an actual district. Granted there isn't much going on in Lincoln land, but that doesn't make it right. At the rate that bodies keep getting piled up on Jackson av the academy will have more manpower than 017 and 014. Pretty soon there will be a 124 tac team complete with tac LT and secretary. People need spots you know. Might as well be teaching these newcomers how to properly wear bluejeans, backwards ball caps, and paper jump. Cause they will be going to district teams via reverse seniority. I think this is the change all those recruiting posters are talking about.
The IG Is WORTHLESS RAHM has him in his Pocket. Just Like Left hand Eddie there all bought just like Prostitutes.

The detective unit we actually have one? With the clearance rate of under 15% every last person in that unit should be demoted because even though detectives are put there as patrolman and they still are patrolman even though they call themselves detectives it’s time that they get them ordered dumped the whole unit revamp it and redo it all they do is take a lot of overtime money and they do not do their jobs simple as that time for that unit to be gone! The mayor had a great idea along with Eddie of putting all of them in uniform driving around and marked police vehicles which they have already bought it’s about time more police presence On the street they can answer some of the calls along with swat they can answer calls in the district where they all belong enough for the nonsense waste of space waste of time put them where they belong where they can be useful answering radio calls!

Writing reports, dealing with rude and hate filled community members. Conducting traffic stops. Etc. etc.. The CPD is the only job that I know of in which LEARNING the basics of the job have absolutely no bearing in being promoted to positions of leadership. This has never been more evident then it is right now. The people in leadership rolls have never done any of the work that they are asking others to do. It makes no sense.
Staples shouldn’t be anywhere near the Superintendent position. The fact that she is the Chief of Detectives now is evidence of the above. The current status of the CPD is an embarrassment and heartbreaking.

Remember,James Jones & Brendan Deenihan deserve a lot of blame. Both those hacks were Dets, Sgts in the det. Div. Lts in the det div, and I bet Staples doesn’t make a move without asking Brendan. Shit, Bilsett is a ghost patroller. When was the last time anyone saw that guy at a scene? So if we’re going to hang the executive management staff of the D-unit let’s make sure we get them all because they’re ALL accountable for the 16.91% (as of today).

Some like them and some don't but Frank Valadez and Jimmy Sanchez put in their time as the working police. Dana Alexander too although he's been exempt for it seems like forever. But yeah off the top of my head I can't think of many others. This would make a good topic in itself.
