Rahm is getting some heat from the community lately. He's being accused of "victim shaming" and of acting morally superior by suggesting that maybe, just maybe, the "community" ought to attempt to follow some sort of morale compass:
- Democratic attorney general candidate Kwame Raoul on Thursday criticized Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s focus on a lack of morals in African-American communities struggling with gun violence, calling that approach “outright wrong.”

During Democrat Day at the Illinois State Fair, Raoul was asked if the mayor’s remarks amounted to the mayor “talking down to black people.”

- The field house at Garfield Park was packed with young teens for championship games in a local basketball league Thursday night. A fight broke out, then another and soon police started clearing the crowd. That's when the shooting started and everyone ran, according to Chicago police and witnesses.
Kenwon Parker didn't get far. The 15-year-old student at Marshall High School was shot in the chest and fell to the ground in the West Side park shortly after 9 p.m. His friend Kimmy stopped, knelt down and tried to talk to him. “He got hit,” she said. “He was trying to breathe.”
Kenwon died at Stroger Hospital, less than two days from his 16th birthday. A 14-year-old boy was taken there in serious condition with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. His family said he was expected to recover.
According to the gang database, the dead 15-year-old had a SSL (Strategic Subject List) score of well over 350, which translates into an extremely high probability of being shot.

Not blaming the “communitay” is so important to the left that when someone makes some headway by doing it that person must be destroyed. Bill Cosby is a case in point. For 50 years he was a beloved comedian, well thought of by people regardless of ethnicity. But then Cosby made the fatal mistake of trying to help the communitay. He went to high schools in predominantly black areas and gave lectures to parents - mostly mothers- pointing out that they must take more personal responsibility for themselves, their children and their community. He talked about the cancers in the black culture - generations of fatherless kids, addiction, high unemployment by choice, devaluing education (being good in school is a bad thing; it’s “acting white”), the gang culture and on and on. At first the left’s media mouthpieces started printing rumors about Cosby in an effort to shut him up. When the rumors didn’t work, and Cosby was drawing bigger and bigger crowds of black people agreeing with him, they decided he must be DESTROYED and out came Gloria Allred and her nuts and sluts brigade. Maybe Cosby did do some of the things they charged him with, but the media was happy to cover it up for 50 years. It wasn’t until he began to be a threat to the Black Grievance Industry, the Revrunds Jackson, Sharpton, Pfleger, et al, and the Democrat Party that the order went out to shut him up, even if they had to destroy him.

The only thing they don't do is shoot each other, blacks seem to have more propensity for violence while whites seem to just self-destruct.
No matter the skin color, this trashy element of society deserves no seat at the table when discussing public policy because it is toxic and destructive. It keeps people down and drowns them in the muck and will destroy all of society if given the chance. People who follow these lifestyles cannot even successfully chart their own course in life, they have NO business steering the boat for all of us.

You know what else is racist? Statistics! Especially crime statistics. Those damn numbers make it seem like black people are committing the unbelievably overwhelming majority of all crime, especially violent crime. Someone needs to talk to these statistics and let them know they're being racist. Maybe we could have some reverends and the superintendent of police march on the expressways and in various non-violent, non-black neighborhoods, in order to let these statistics know how they're affecting the black community.

I heard Rahm talking on a news clip about family structure, morals and values and for the first time in a long time I actually agreed with him.
