I've been attempting to point out her and her malfeasance throughout numerous posts. How is this individual a police officer, let alone a merit pick? Thanks Personnel Department, thanks CKS. Why would an officer want to hold the name of someone who took part in murdering a fellow officer? Shame on this whole department. This is the beginning of complaints and lawsuits as she demands a gold star. We have an enemy within. Her officers should constantly check off with goose eggs. OT: Watch for your emails...Patrol is now getting emails saying you must attend an 8hr class on this tour of duty (8hr) "BIAS" class. Is an FOP rep going to sit in on one of these classes to see what they are shoving down out throats? To make sure they wont be passing out shit that they expect us to "FILL OUT"? Like the bullshit survey they first proposed. Gee, when do we start educating the fucking residents? 1 school in Texas finally got the right idea...The school has a class that must be taken in order to graduate and thats how to deal with police if your ever stopped. She bashed the blog! Talked about her “tac,” experience. When she was asked by a 20yr vet exactly where was this tac experience from, she replied that she was in 020 and 024 tac teams, but that she was detailed all over the city, so she was the real police. Ha!
Crap like this makes me really I hate this job now. Never thought I'd say that when I came on. Can't wait to retire.

I feel sorry for all you P/Os in 015. My advice is to stick together and record every interaction with her on your BWC and also write every thing down. Keep copious notes. It will seem like a waste of time, but when you are down at IAD, standing before a Judge (as a defendant), down at the Federal building either as a defendant in a criminal case, lawsuit, or are suing her and the city, you will be glad you kept notes. Lastly, think about buying a backup recording device. Something inconspicuous that no one knows about.

We have same thing at Unit 050 on 3rd Watch, the old timers here warned us about this racist goof who won't back up anyone or even respond to his calls then resorts to making everything about race. Over my 20 years I've always tried to form my own opinions of fellow officers of all colors and sexes but wow these guys couldn't have been more correct. This guy won't even answer his radio until 2-3 other responsible officers acknowledge the job he just blew off then he miraculously responds on the air, like everyone is stupid.In light of what's going on in the city we are blessed to have a close knit multiracial unit that looks out for each other and overwhelmingly backs each other up AND actually like each other. Eddie Johnson- you have to move the commander in 015. I get promoting your own people but keeping them in the same district after a promotion no one respects Cato. We took a major hit with barb west, lots of good officers left. The storm subsided when we were blessed with Dwayne betts, hands off managing and let things fall into place. He took things in stride and knew how to be a commander. Cato pulls his own event numbers for his own stops...micromanaging is an understatement.

You're absolutely correct. She had a made up Community relations/CAPS position. But remained at HQ not in 005. So outside of being FTO for 1 year, her entire career has been inside at Public Saftey HQ including whatever she was doing in the superintendent's office in the earlier years. So, much b.s some of the dates on her resume profile just says public safety HQ. No actual job description. I guess she was truly hidden. I still can't figure out how she needed merit if she had 12 years to study... literally hiding in HQ with no responsibility. Her and Ms. 3000(inside her whole career, promoted from an inside spot in 007. Also needed a merit super bump from the 3000s). And about that detective's exam Assata had been studying for, I guess that didn't go too well for her either. This Department, it's nominators and nominees are a complete joke.
Is there a list to see where all the Sgt’s got assigned to.

In light of the chaos and craziness in the city you'd think anyone from Unit 050 would have 0 beefs and we actually don't. The exception being the fool mentioned earlier on this post from our 3rd Watch, At O'Hare there aren't domestics on the top floor or foot chases all day with men with guns but the problem is an obvious and completely racist tool who in my short time in the unit didn't even show up to multiple In-Progress calls on purpose and left me and my coworkers hanging. There is no shame with this asshole who doesn't even answer his radio, and makes us all yearn for an oldfashioned Red Lining. Well look it up, Ernie was also merit. Made by 1st deputy Riccio only a few years ago. Then skyrocket right to Cmdr. So with his clout being the 1st deputy, he gets what he wants I imagine. I guess these were the sgts he wanted out of the class. Very interesting.

I’ve noticed that commanders, ones that were merit in their past especially, always look for merit sgts and Lts to bring to their district because these merit people feel like they owe someone and have something to prove. They’re always out there demanding numbers so they can feel like they deserved the merit spot. The guys/girls that made it off test are secure enough in their job and abilities that they don’t have to ask for anything. The merit system sucks and I’ve yet to come across a merit boss that I’ve actually felt deserved it over someone that studied and scored well.
Back in 1981 there were two NYPD officers shot, Rainey and Scarangella who died.

Over my 20 years I've always tried to form my own opinions of fellow officers of all colors and sexes but wow these guys couldn't have been more correct. This guy won't even answer his radio until 2-3 other responsible officers acknowledge the job he just blew off then he miraculously responds on the air, like everyone is stupid.In light of what's going on in the city we are blessed to have a close knit multiracial unit that looks out for each other and overwhelmingly backs each other up AND actually like each other. It's sad for someone who should know better to have such a closed and warped hateful mind. The whole unit is disgusted by his act. and all watches have been warned.

As for the Gomer Pile looking dude from the 05-05 class, he was fired when one of his classmates snitched on him for going to Hooters after class, and not securing his weapon. The classmate who snitched on him happens to be the other new female Sht who went to 015. That's how she hot to pick 024 for her training district.
