BOLO: Black, Four Door Car
- Three people robbed a woman Tuesday night in the West Town neighborhood on the Near West Side.
The 31-year-old woman was walking south at 8:14 p.m. in the 500 block of North Wood when three males walked up behind her and one of them put his hand over her face, according to Chicago police. He then demanded the woman's belongings.
A second suspect took the woman's property, and then the first suspect pushed her to the ground, injuring her forehead, police said. The trio ran off north on Wood, where they got into a small, black, four-door vehicle and drove away northbound.
Not even a hint as to who the offenders might be, but they got the car dead to rights.

I am really tired of the sexism when it comes to describing offenders. The Chicago media are notorious for describing the gender of the offenders. I would posit that from now on, the media should refrain from sexism and report fairly. The offenders should be described simply as "one individual offender" or "three persons." For example: "Three persons are wanted for attacking and breaking the victim's jaw."
As male citizen of this fine city, I am appalled and horrified that I may be suspected as an offender. I do want the police to stop me simply because I am a male, and happen to be in the vicinity of where a crime occurred. There, I said it! I am tired of sexism! I demand equality for my gender!!
And the rotten mf's did a boot stomp and kick on her, too.
It would not be politically correct to show that the offender(s) were minority's it would upset our county officials that so many black and brown people are committing these crimes. Chicago is like the gold rush for crime come one come all and claim your prize
Why not just eliminate race from arrest reports? I'd love to submit an arrest report but omitting the race.

Maybe Fleger and the Cupcake Cardinal can give a sermon to white people of Chicago for being a victim here. A teachable moment if you will on the evils of living North and being easy Pickens for city residents of the South particularly residents of 7 and 11.

I guess the media assumes that the perpetrator(s) are black unless otherwise specified.
