Anyone the uniform of the services?
God Bless you Officer!
The dozen members of our family said a special prayer at our Thanksgiving table yesterday for Officer Jimenez and for all who serve to keep us safe. THANK YOU to CPD, CFD, and the U.S. Armed Forces. For every individual who protests your existence, there are 10,000 others who understand and profoundly appreciate your sacrifices, and pray for your safety.
God bless you all.
I've been to a lot of those services. One is too many.
Uniform for the services should be Class A winter uniform: wool cap with hat band, blouse, wool pants, black leather gloves.
God bless you. May you rest in peace.

For Commander Bauer's funeral, it was the reefer, wool pants (please, guys, no cargos - there's always one in the bunch), shirt and tie (no dicky or turtleneck), crown cap, black shoes (no combat boots) and black gloves. If you wear a scarf, only black. The official order will be out later today. Hope this helps.
Uniform is full winter dress, wool pants and reefer, dress hat to match, no baton, black gloves
3 little kids. I alternate between being pissed off and heat broken.
Any info on lining up would be appreciated. Retire guy
Class A dress uniform. Wool pants, blouse, wool hat with the hat band and white gloves. The wool reefer outer coat is appropriate during the time you will be outdoors. If the weather breaks and it is raining the raincoat over the blouse is appropriate with the rain cover on the hat. THE WOOL HAT, BLOUSE AND PANTS WILL SHRINK IN THE RAIN. Shine your shoes!
retired lt::: if u are attending the service the dress uniform would be proper
A Police Officer Sacrified His Life to Protect Other's, And Some Feel We Need a Consent Decree,That is a Slap in the Face.
Refer and black gloves
Thank you, Officer Jimenez, for the dedication you gave at your job. May God give your family the strength they need in the coming days.
May God and St. Michael the archangel protect all of you who protect us from the evils that prowl around us.
Officer Jimenez, just like Captain Bauer, must never be forgotten.

A reefer, not a blouse. Also I thought only white gloves, which is what we wear for St Jude's in the spring.
Prayers for his immediate family and to the larger family of Blue, who would have done the same thing under the same circumstances. The rest of us are lucky to have you and we appreciate you all making the streets safer. God bless you all.

I agree but come on, at this time can we just focus on Officer Jimenez. He gave the ultimate sacrifice and deserves our undivided attention.
Prayers for our fallen brother, his family, and for those who still serve.
it's black gloves in winter with reefer
oh, and if you are attending on or off duty you are required to have the class A uniform. it is "frowned upon" to be in civilian clothes if you are an active sworn officer.

We wear the class A for the visitation also?
Rip young brother .
God Speed Dear Brother. Go walk the streets of Heavens beat, because you have done your time in hell.
The creepy cardinal is saying the Mass.
They are desperate to rehabilitate this loser.

Yes, but bring white gloves for inside the funeral home.

Reefer black gloves for winter

"Frowned upon"???
I've been to many CPD honors services and have gone in both dress uniform and in a suit.
I think the more important thing is that you showed up
Very well organized Wake
That sucks that the cardinal has imposed himself on doing the funeral. Brandt should be offering it, and I sure hope he's preaching. I know he'll be there, by why should he have to let this police-hating boss of his take the mass. It's an offense to the family...Sam's family and his police family whom the cardinal has proven he hates. Awful.
Watched the services on WGN 9 and FOX 32, THANKS to those networks that took the time to broadcast the service. Please take the time to call, email, our leave a msg on these networks web site to thank them. Of course NONE of the big shot networks showed nothing, just shows how much NBC, CBS, and WLS care about the Greatest Police Force in the country, THE CHICAGO POLICE!. It was a Beautiful service, and a honor to view and it us all the need to support Officer Jimenez' family for all time, and to NEVER FORGET the sacrifice Officer Jimenez made for the Citizen of Chicago. Now that his spirit has joined the sadly growing amount of Police Officers that are now part of GOD's Police Force and being watched over by Saint Michael. REST IN PEACE SAM, and we will meet again when our time comes. Retired CPD Sergeant
