Christmas Party 007/011 Style
We had wondered at the combined 007/011 Christmas party last year. The whole "twin brothers" thing was Special Ed's great discovery, this "exempt DNA" that scientists had been searching for for years in an effort to clone a crop of "Super Exempts" that would lead Chicago Policing to the stars and beyond.
Then Skinny Johnson resigned suddenly, and Not-skinny Johnson got promoted AND removed from his Deputy Chief spot in a matter of months. We saw the Christmas Party posters "honoring" the 007 "retiree" Johnson even as he was being indicted in Federal Court. Now we get this e-mail:

Let me tell u a tale. Spread the word.
So the Johnson twins, 1 under federal investigaion and the other soon to be, arranged last year to hold THIS years CPD xmas party jointly( 011+ 007 ) at the same terrible location downtown. Fast forward to 2018 and neither commander is running these shitholes, yet since the deposit was made both districts are stuck. So us blue shirts are pressured to by a $65 ticket ( or work a late car). Then it turns out 1 of the Districts didn't pay the venue on time so for first 2 hours its a CASH BAR ONLY. 9$ BEERS 12$ WELL- DRINKS.
Hilarious right? So to top it off we were given placards to place in our vehicles for "COURTESY" parking only to find out some meter maid is hammering people with tickets left and right. Merry fucking Christmas.
Now go get us some blue cards.
And to top it all off:
- Last year, every Johnson attended the party. This year, not a single Johnson attended. No Kevin, no Kenny and no Special Ed. Everyone one was missing their Johnsons.
Sounds like a Christmas Party to remember.

Kenneth Johnson should have been fired in 2005 along with 007/gun team officer corey flagg. Kenneth was his sergeant and mentioned in the indictment BUT his clout helped to cover him & distanced him from the drama. That is a fact!!
Yup...and we (the 001st District) got the call to "extend parking courtesy." Besides the fact that we don't have control over the meter maids, wasn't that type of behavior banned several months ago? So whether you paid for parking or got a ticket, the entire nigth cost you close to $350!! At those prices, I would have taken a late car.
Man, I gotta tell ya,
There were many Christmas parties where I can't account for my Johnson, let alone anyone else's.

They used Seiser's DNA for the cloning process. The problem happened when Bubblehead snuck into the lab at headquarters one fateful night, to steal some latex gloves and pens. The degenerate gambler accidentally knocked over a vial of grape Kool Aid into the the concoction. As Bubblehead ran off into the night, the Gold Star creature grew to monstrous proportions and escaped from his containment unit. This meritorious terror would cut a swathe of corrupt stupidity unparalleled in the annals of CPD history. Seiser would have executed a low life stealing his own dead mom's social security by shooting him to death piecemeal. Instead, because of the lab mishap, the Johnsonstein monster clone stole his momma's for years! This is what happens when man fools around with nature in ways that God and Seiser had never intended.

Only a fool would attend such a thing after all that has gone on. And on top of it they supposedly threaten POs if they don’t go? That would seal the deal for me. What a waste of time and money. You should have waited till things get better and attend the 2019 Xmas party. Being treated like garbage, paying for a ticket to a shit party, burning C-time, and then possibly getting a parking ticket? No way. CPD is so behind the times
Organizations do not have "Christmas" parties anymore. The mere mention of the "C" word can have employees rushing to their lawyers.
Get out of the dark ages, it's now "Holiday Get Togethers" or "Winter Celebration" or in CPD's case; "Suck UP to the Commander Gala"
In 002, there is only a handful of 3rd watch po’s attending the party. The northsiders say it’s too far, which it is. However, Sam’s wife is attending with her sister for a presentation and to be honored. Instead the northsiders planned to have their own party the same night Commander is not happy and rightly so.
What was the location?
For that price it beats the good ole 003rd for $100 bucks on 95th st. Where the price was explained that it was for the retiree's which none attended (dont blame them). F*@king joke.
Truth of the matter -
These young kids in 011 (some of them) were too stupid to say know to the Christmas Party.
As if the watch party wasnt enough. These young kids (5 and under) know it all.
Now - once again - please tell me how good both (JOHNSONS) are.

This is the only fucken police department where we have to pay to attend a Christmas party.
True example (JOHNSON) brothers - of how and why the meritorious packet is so hated.
Prime example of how two guys could not score well enough but were promoted higher than 90% of the dept will ever be a part of.
Threatening police officers and sergeants with transfers if they don't buy tickets to parties or contribute to some charity has been a thing in specialized units for decades. The superintendent has known about this behavior and just lets it happen. But, to happen in a district, especially terrible districts like 007/011, well that is a new low. I am sorry for the lack of cohesiveness and camaraderie that seems to be the norm in today's CPD. It surely makes the job worse and much harder to go to work every day. I am long retired, but when the watches went around the clock ( long time ago, I know, not since 1994) we had great watch parties and great retirement parties, at least in most districts and units. Just another sign how the liberal left tore things up with their racial politics and patronage.
I think only about 10 cars were ticketed at the 007 and 011 Christmas party.
Thats not bad.
Anytime you are associated with this Dept - you have to account for losses.

when I was at six corners in 016, a meter maid was screwing with everyone. her mother lived on dakin ave. a permit parking block. she never put a temp sticker on her car. I got her one time. she probably got it negated. fire all the meter maids.

Christmas parties are for retirees just as St. Jude marches are for our fallen Brothers and Sisters. We need to keep these traditions alive and well.
Can I suggest getting involved in a Christmas committee and take control over your party. Don't let the entitled do-nothing neighborhood relations office wreck the night we honor our retirees. Get involved. Check out the venue, sample the food, check the parking situation and plan ahead. Sit in and listen to the planning committee do their thing at their planning sessions. Then make those suggestion or contribute a little that will enhance our retirees special day.
I sure hope someone got up and honored our retirees with kind words. A little planning goes along way. Don't trust your night out to amateurs in the front office or CAPS Orifice. Together we can!

Uh, how about they save the money and don't have either? Sorry, but it's just flat out weird and lame having purple coloring theme for some college fraternity crap that nobody except the goofs that went care about. They did so great in College that they came onto this intellectual department to ply their trade. Ed Lover would have been fine if the people running the shit show party got their act together and at least had an open bar for the whole night which is the least they could have done considering how expensive the tickets were. For that kind of money they should have had Ed Lover, Dr. Dre, Grand Master Flash, and Dwight Yoakum!

TRUE STORY! it was at the banquet hall at 115th & Cicero (the name escapes me) and the entertainment was a "lingerie show" (just like the bars where we never told our wives we were at). They walked around selling raffle tickets to win the outfit they were wearing. If memory serves me correctly, one of the retirees ( a crossing guard) had a heart attack and died at the party (despite the valiant efforts of the Alsip EMT's). I believe that Ronnie Watson was the commander at the time. As my old partner used to say, we have front row seats to the greatest show on earth.

I spent way too many years in 011. Finally got out and discovered that the grass IS in fact greener outside the ghetto. Don't let yourselves get too comfortable there. There's bullshit no matter where you go - with bad bosses and drama and police haters, but it's still better than that shithole on the west side. Trust me!
