Curious...Very Curious (UPDATE)

So no one in the media seems to have the name of the COPA investigator who was recently charged with a felony. We know the Department releases names and booking photos for every single arrestee once they're charged with a felony, particularly government employees.

Is there some "code of silence" going on here regarding COPA? Rahm, you want to comment on this, you being the "expert" on "codes of silence" and all.

UPDATE: The Slum Times posted an article at 10:08 AM this morning. Fox 32 beat them to the punch at 06:33 AM. Both published on a Saturday morning when readership is at its lowest so the political fallout would be lessened.

Out the COPA "investigator" so that he/she/it can be exposed
to ridicule, slander, doxxing and ruin.

In the name of "Transparency" and "Reform."

Just like COPA would do/has done to Policemen.

Walk backwards every investigation and finding
that this "investigator" had a hand in because
he/she/it can no longer be viewed as credible.

Allow the affected Police Officers to have those
findings reversed, thusly enabling them to sue
the COPA investigator and his/her/it's supervisory
chain for ruinous damages.

You know... Let The Police get in on some of this officially
sanctioned revenge taking that is COPA's primary mission.

You know...
The "Restorative Justice" disguise that "Retributive Justice"
is wearing here in Chicago...

Cook THEM in the same pot THEY fervently
desire to see Policemen cooked in.

Is this the same giddy joy that COPA investigators feel
when they're targeting Policemen?

When the last SOS, Finnegan Scandal took place, the State's Attorney went out of her way to avoid prosecuting cases by SOS officers. A former partner of mine, in SOS at that time, showed up in court to testify on a narcotics arrest made around the time of the scandal. When the ASA saw that my friend was in Unit 153 (SOS), the ASA told him to just go home, we are dropping cases made by your Unit: "You guys no longer have credibility." My friend left CPD a few years later and went to another law enforcement agency where he is now a supervisor, rank denied him by the corruption and Racial Politics of CPD. But my point here is this: The conduct of the COPA employee in this is clearly that of someone who is at best, Unstable. So, does that mean that ANY investigations involving that individual is no longer "CREDIBLE"? Especially, if that COPA employee was Directly involved in the investigations, either as a Supervisor or actual Investigator? The FOP and Media need to DEMAND that the name and position of this Accused Felon be made public. In addition, the Media and FOP need to track this individual's manner of hire and background checking, or "Sponsorship". IPRA and now COPA have had an inordinate number of questionable characters working for them. What is their screening process? Do COPA hires have to take a polygraph, as do CPD recruits? Is COPA going out of its way to hire angry People of Color, especially those who have a history of police hating? I have a feeling, that a thorough investigation of COPA hiring practices might produce a Challenge to their Credibility and legitimacy as an independent investigative entity. Where is the Inspector General on this matter? The current situation in this COPA case is producing more questions than answers. Or is COPA simply another Clout Heavy group above the law and accountability? Stay Safe & Strong! Baby "G"

As a citizen, I suspect the cover up is within the Chicago media and it's own code of silence. Perhaps the off spring of a star journalist who should be embarrassed about the conduct of their offspring such as a spitting daughter from Oak Park. You sure do not hear about that little slob anymore. Like the outcome of her case. I wonder why?

Those who got promoted because of Burke should be stripped of their promotions and sent to patrol. Konet's dad was Anne Burke's driver. It's not what you know , it's who you know. CPD is a joke. Supervisors that don't know how to be leaders are promoted.

I am demanding that all the cases she had her name on be immediately dismissed and, any previous rulings be reversed and punitive and compensatory damages be assessed against her and copa.

You don't say. So someone who was hired ostensibly to keep the POLICE in line, commits an act like THIS? How is this possible?

Think about it...a FALSE MASS SHOOTING THREAT, deliberately phoned in by a person who's sole purpose is to scrutinize cops -- to armchair quarterback -- for those who are tasked with the unfortunate responsibility of making split-second, life-and-death decisions? It's so ridiculous it almost couldn't be believed, except it's true.

I'm pretty sure part of the motivation for COPA relates to "cops are sworn to uphold the law, thus they should be held to a higher standard..." So what about COPA? Shouldn't THEY be held to an even higher standard STILL? GREAT hiring choice here...

Put another way, if a bad cop means that "the entire department is corrupt", what does this person's actions say about COPA?

Why is the supervisor unnamed and what the fuck does removing unethical officers with force mean? Read below...

Role at COPA: Supervising Investigator
Favorite Quote: "Let us not seek the Republican answer or the Democratic answer, but the right answer. Let us not seek to fix the blame for the past. Let us accept our own responsibility for the the future." - John F. Kennedy
Favorite Chicago Restaurant: Billy Goat Tavern and Amato's Pizzeria
Favorite Sports Team: The one and only pride and joy of ILLINOIS - CHICAGO BEARS. BEAR DOWN.
Why COPA: COPA gives us a chance to start anew. It gives us a chance to rebuild our community as one. The civilians, police department, COPA and politicians. It allows us to find misconduct where misconduct is found, but also to develop independent, trustworthy investigations that identify where an officer’s actions were proper, ethical and balanced. The community must trust us both for this to succeed long term. It will allow our city to heal over time by building trust in COPA and the police department that the bad, unethical officers are being removed with force, while the ethical, righteous, problem solving officers that do in fact protect and serve the greatest city in the world are hopefully trusted once again by the community so that we can all, together as one, fight the violence that is unfortunately become too regular a part of our lives. The point, over time, is to rebuild those bridges that have fallen apart so that we are all working towards a common goal.

This female was an investigator and was that stupid to send a email threat to COPA?

And had no clue that it could be traced back to her.

Can’t wait to see what brilliant educational system passed her through until she ended up on IPRA or COPA doorstep.

She is not locked up... but, I am left to question.. how come there are not more people of color as well as LGBTQRSTUVWXZ people at COPA; they don’t have to be qualified; such as Burke’s son with his county job. Don’t even show up to work just send an email that you are working; just like Burke’s son did. Who ever is doing the hiring for COCA, hire more LGTRPQ people. The person here is prolly gonna get 10k for being in lock up; just as that jewelry store lady did a few months ago— it’s crazy how this shit repeats itself

Her lawyer is claiming she thought she was doing the right thing ! She sent the Email from her signed in work computer and considered it see something say something.
In my opinion this is a lefty gun hater who is in need of attention, had a conversation with a coworker and the person made a innocent off hand remark about being pro firearm.
Nutsy Alison in need of attention then ran with the ball.
I have been a firearms instructor for decades and tell every student the following,No gun stickers on the car, nothing in eye sight of someone standing in your front door,no firearm conversations until you are sure who you are speaking with etc.
What used to be a theft warning is now also a warning that your progressive neighbor will tell the Police they're in fear of the fukn NRA sticker on your car, then start to embellish the story.
She's a progressive attorney working for COPA who heard an innocent remark made by a coworker, her hair started on fire and she screamed for attention... she got it!
Is this the temperment of an atty. who investigates Police ?

Career choices:

1. Enforce the law within the county and city most dedicated to the law not being enforced upon the chosen democrat elite and their puppet voting peasants.

2. Obstruct the enforcement of the law within the county and city most dedicated to the law not being enforced upon the chosen democrat elite and their puppet voting peasants.

3. Mind your own business, earn your living doing something useful, and defend yourself as needed, when and where and how needed, and live as you intend to be after death removes you from the meat equation.

Nature requires, the well fed desire and death retires all bodies.
