So no one in the media seems to have the name of the COPA investigator who was recently charged with a felony. We know the Department releases names and booking photos for every single arrestee once they're charged with a felony, particularly government employees.
Is there some "code of silence" going on here regarding COPA? Rahm, you want to comment on this, you being the "expert" on "codes of silence" and all.
UPDATE: The Slum Times posted an article at 10:08 AM this morning. Fox 32 beat them to the punch at 06:33 AM. Both published on a Saturday morning when readership is at its lowest so the political fallout would be lessened.

Out the COPA "investigator" so that he/she/it can be exposed
to ridicule, slander, doxxing and ruin.
In the name of "Transparency" and "Reform."
Just like COPA would do/has done to Policemen.
Walk backwards every investigation and finding
that this "investigator" had a hand in because
he/she/it can no longer be viewed as credible.
Allow the affected Police Officers to have those

When the last SOS, Finnegan Scandal took place, the State's Attorney went out of her way to avoid prosecuting cases by SOS officers. A former partner of mine, in SOS at that time, showed up in court to testify on a narcotics arrest made around the time of the scandal. When the ASA saw that my friend was in Unit 153 (SOS), the ASA told him to just go home, we are dropping cases made by your Unit: "You guys no longer have credibility." My friend left CPD a few years later and went to another law enforcement agency where he is now a supervisor, rank denied him by the corruption and Racial Politics of CPD. But my point here is this: The conduct of the COPA employee in this is clearly that of someone who is at best, Unstable. So, does that mean that ANY investigations involving that individual is no longer "CREDIBLE"? Especially, if that COPA employee was Directly involved in the investigations, either as a Supervisor or actual Investigator? The FOP and Media need to DEMAND that the name and position of this Accused Felon be made public. In addition, the Media and FOP need to track this individual's manner of hire and background checking, or "Sponsorship". IPRA and now COPA have had an inordinate number of questionable characters working for them. What is their screening process? Do COPA hires have to take a polygraph, as do CPD recruits? Is COPA going out of its way to hire angry People of Color, especially those who have a history of police hating? I have a feeling, that a thorough investigation of COPA hiring practices might produce a Challenge to their Credibility and legitimacy as an independent investigative entity. Where is the Inspector General on this matter? The current situation in this COPA case is producing more questions than answers. Or is COPA simply another Clout Heavy group above the law and accountability? Stay Safe & Strong! Baby "G"

As a citizen, I suspect the cover up is within the Chicago media and it's own code of silence. Perhaps the off spring of a star journalist who should be embarrassed about the conduct of their offspring such as a spitting daughter from Oak Park. News Affairs generated a charge release, her name is Alison Yohanna. Two felony charges - False Report and Official Misconduct. Turned herself in at Area Central. Shit happens.

Think about it...a FALSE MASS SHOOTING THREAT, deliberately phoned in by a person who's sole purpose is to scrutinize cops -- to armchair quarterback -- for those who are tasked with the unfortunate responsibility of making split-second, life-and-death decisions? I'm pretty sure part of the motivation for COPA relates to "cops are sworn to uphold the law, thus they should be held to a higher standard..." So what about COPA? Shouldn't THEY be held to an even higher standard STILL? GREAT hiring choice here...

She is not locked up... but, I am left to question.. how come there are not more people of color as well as LGBTQRSTUVWXZ people at COPA; they don’t have to be qualified; such as Burke’s son with his county job. Don’t even show up to work just send an email that you are working; just like Burke’s son did. Who ever is doing the hiring for COCA, hire more LGTRPQ people. I have been a firearms instructor for decades and tell every student the following,No gun stickers on the car,nothing in eye sight of someone standing in your front door,no firearm conversations until you are sure who you are speaking with etc.
