So the Superintendent sends out to patrol that he will be visiting the District of the first UUW of 2019. Low and behold the Third District magically has a UUW at 1201. One minute into the new year. That’s great. Except it’s a lie.
The arresting officers were told to hold the arrest until 1201 to ensure Eddie’s visit. Who would tell these officers to lie? It was Commander Hanna and Lieutenant Ward. These two were looking for selfish recognition at the expense of false reports, and both were former IAD. What a joke.
So Johnson goes and does a press conference and knowingly and intentionally lies about the time of this arrest with Hanna and Ward at his side. For what? Nothing but trouble for these officers who are now concerned about the upcoming court proceedings.
This can be confirmed through BWC, SDSC video, and the officers going over the air around 2330. This is the type of leadership that needs to be exposed.
The radio tapes and body camera timestamps are going to fuck everyone with a signature on this paper. Does anyone think that (cheating lieutenant) Ward, Hanna or Special Ed are going to be anywhere near the defense table?
The only reasonably intelligent bosses who refused to approve falsified documents were the First watch DSS and WOL....and they'll be called as Plaintiff Witnesses #1 and #2.

I heard they had him in custody, weapon recovered around 1130pm, but pulled the RD # just after midnight. Nothing wrong with that, as long as the officers put the time of arrest around 1130. If they didn’t, they’d have to explain why. Maybe they needed to go back into 003 and verify he wasn’t a FOID card carrier or had a CCL. Or maybe get a confession post Miranda. In any event, it’s really dumb to play with times just for some press conference and/or recognition. Wake up guys, and keep your paperwork tight. You get paid the same either way.
The news conference was typical CPD Dog & Pony Show: Kidney Bean holding up a gun envelope while flanked by a group of self promoting white shirt assholes and assorted blue shirts. The uneasiness of being an unwilling participant was almost palpable on the faces of a few of the coppers.
I immediately smelled a rat, knowing that this latest shameless display was concocted to perpetuate the smoke and mirrors being fed to a gullible public. It all made perfect sense upon hearing this news.
Absolutley no sympathy for anyone involved, particularly the Stupidvisors. They all need to have it shoved balls deep in their asses. Stupidity should hurt, and punitive damages will definitely leave a mark.
Keep this one on the front burner. It’ll definitely be interesting to see if everyone involved gets hammered equally, or if the clouted once again walk away unscathed.

Whoever keeps commenting about a last minute requirement added to the Police Techician Technician application, the requirement was always there. If you read the order initially put out about it, that was all stated in there. You clicked on two provided links: one was a medical statement you filled out, and the second was one for your Dr. to sign. It was listed to submit those two forms to HR along with doing the online application. If you didn’t read the whole thing when it didn’t came out, not sure what to tell you, prob why FOP has nothing to say when you ask them. The subsequent messages put out were reminders to submit the medical papers, they were not last minute add-ons to “filter people out”. Anyone who read and followed the directions from the beginning is fine. SMDH

Getting on the radio and saying “he’s in custody, squad” kinda solidified that he wasn’t free to be going anywhere at that point. Whatever that time is, it is time stamped and recorded for all eternity. And if that time difference is even a single minute from what the time of arrest is as reflected on his arrest report, all the coppers that are attached to that paper are fucked sideways without lube. I hope you morons that keep drinking the CPD koolaide have all your assets in trust because some VERY expensive lessons are going to be learned when this incident all washes out. If you read the order initially put out about it, that was all stated in there. You clicked on two provided links: one was a medical statement you filled out, and the second was one for your Dr. to sign. It was listed to submit those two forms to HR along with doing the online application. If you didn’t read the whole thing when it didn’t came out, not sure what to tell you, prob why FOP has nothing to say when you ask them. The subsequent messages put out were reminders to submit the medical papers, they were not last minute add-ons to “filter people out”. Anyone who read and followed the directions from the beginning is fine. SMDH

A cover letter
If applicable certificates

Wow....you are really some kind of special. You must be looking at a NOJO for something else. Go to department directives and type in “Police Technician” right there is the order, which spelled everything out from the beginning , has listed: online application with provided link, and the links for the two medical forms. Nowhere was a current resume or cover letter etc required. If you had followed the listed directions in the first place you would have received your notice to report for the exam. Reading and following directions is really not that difficult.
