- The mall used to be one of the few places teens were free to hang out far from prying parental eyes. That’s no longer the case at Water Tower Place on the Magnificent Mile, the latest mall to ban unsupervised teens on Friday and Saturday evenings in an attempt to crack down on disruptive incidents.
From 4 p.m. until the mall closes at 9 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, trained public safety officers will card visitors at the Magnificent Mile shopping center’s entrances, mall owner Brookfield Properties said Thursday.
Anyone without a valid photo ID confirming they are at least 18 years old won’t be allowed into the mall unless they are accompanied by a parent or other adult who is at least 21 years old, Brookfield said in a news release.
These are armed security guards? Empowered to physically restrain and arrest? And the mall is willing to sign complaints? Follow up in court? Press charges to the fullest extent of the law?
And Crimesha Foxxx....she's willing to prosecute these juveniles? Have CPD detectives process them through the system? House them at the [Audy] Home?

The only teens obeying these new signs will be suburban teens, begging their parents to take them to mall on a Friday or Saturday night. Yes, Virgina, private security guards can make arrests under State law as private citizens (they do not have to hold Chicago Special Police commissions; see 725 ILCS 107-3; Arrest by private person).But Water Tower better hire some serious private security guards (def not Andy Frain type) to handle this.

He was a middle-aged African-American accompanied by his daughters. He and his two daughters looked, acted and spoke as if they hailed from a protective bubble. The three of them collectively agreed the new Water Tower Place (WTP) policy was racist. (But, how is the policy racist if it concerns teens, all teens, not just teens of a specific hue or color?) They made the comments after shopping at WTP during the daytime. If only they would go back to WTP in the evening when the little teen felons are "misbehaving", as it is classified by specialEd, and catch the errant behavior firsthand. Witnessing the mob actions might bring them to an understanding of the new policy.

The entire Democrat party decried it as raciest and said the policy was meant to disenfranchise blacks because many don't have the means to get an ID. Forget that this is an out in out lie. If you are too fucking stupid to be able to get an ID then you must be on some type of state assistance right.....but doesn't that require some type of identification as well?
