as best as I could learn, yes, most gun arrests are dismissed. I testified at a trial and the judge found the guy guilty, but gave him probation. A defense attorney told me that with concealed carry in Illinois, judges are reluctant to enter guilty pleas for felony charges unless the case is most egregious

Apparently, a CR Number has been issued against 2 of the 3 arresting officers who lied on the arrest report regarding the time of arrest.
Why not the 3rd? Could it be the 3rd arresting officer is none other than Sgt. White..yes the same sarge who should have been fired twice?
Could it be the CR number was obtained by the 003rd District and investigated in-house so it could be trashed?
Why did the 1st Watch Lieutenant who refused to approve the arrest that night report bid out?.....could it be that he was asked by higher-ups to find a place to go.
