Amazing what Special Ed thinks is supervisor material:
- Just this week the commander of 007 went into all 3 afternoon roll calls, reading the riot act because one of his family members was stopped for traffic, even going so far as to say "this person is now on my radar, you better believe im going to go through every one of their videos until I find something." He claimed what he was most upset about was that someone said "fuck the commander", so for a day everyone walked around asking who said it, the answer...nobody said it.
Turns out the fearless leader never watched the video, just took one side without any investigation, sound familiar anyone?
Without their camera on and rolling this copper would have been dealt a severe punishment, the commander had made up his mind already without taking literally 10 minutes to go and watch the video.
Great way to instill confidence that the bosses have your backs, isn't it?

The operation and discipline associated with it are not covered by the current collective bargaining agreement. You can catch a spar, which can result in a retrain or maybe an admonishment. We are paying union dues for a reason, until the camera is a negotiated part of our cba, they can go pound sand.
So his family members are above the law, mine aren't. The days of giving passes to anyone are over. Pay your fine or go to court and tell the judge your related to an asshole and see what that gets you.

Many many years ago, the commander of 007 got run out of roll when he told everyone they did not receive honorable mentions because they were just doing their jobs. There were other of these types of "incidents." One with the first deputy under Leroy Martin. What are they going to do, put you on afternoons in 007. Remember the Insane Fish!

I dont mind the cameras, and most seem to have adapted. If you are doing or saying anything out there nowadays that you would be worried about being caught on camera, than you are an idiot. And if you are the type of personality that "cant help it", then stop putting yourself in situations where your mouth will get you jammed up.
btw, The orders for the operation of the camera have been in existence since before they were issued. There are existing punishments for violating the standing orders. If for some reason you grieve and win based on the "not covered yet" defense, then your punishment will probably just be put off until it is covered specifically. You dont get a free pass. Not to mention that if you do something serious and you did not activate it, it will probably do you more harm because they will assume the worst and that you were covering up something.

The current CPD leadership is comprised of liars, cheats, and criminals. I thought the body worn cameras were there to help you. It just another clever trick or convenient tool to jam an officer up if you cross the powers that be. For those who say that I'm not doing anything wrong, your right. But read the orders with all the things you didn't do or didn't see or didn't hear after a third party's repeated views of your video leaving you vulnerable for discipline or personal liability.
We have all sat through someone's video being that Monday morning quarterback. But this commander wants to be the judge, jury and executioner. Multiple merit promotions and heavy as whale shit clout has its privileges with specially afforded immunity and protections.

Essentially, he is the very personification of an intelligent, experienced leader. The FTO working with him, a real piece of trash, say she can't work with him any longer. No other P.O. complaints, no citizen complaints. I say F@@k all bosses. Be careful none of them care for you.

Watch LT smarter than this hack? Are you referring to the 2nd watch WOL who was top 30 or 50 in the LTs list but was merit sgt after being jodi weis’ chauffeur? Was ranked lower than the 3000s in that sgts exam but mastered the LTs exam. That watch LT is the one you speak of?
