We've been pointing out for a couple years now the all-around incompetency of Crimsha Foxxx and her office of clowns. Her disregard for the Law as written, her making up thresholds and bars to jump over for charging, her complicity in releasing felons and those charged with felonies onto the street to further victimize the "community."

- As TV actor and want-to-be-victim Jussie Smollett pleaded not guilty on Thursday to staging his very own fake hate crime, I thought about someone else on trial in this case:
Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx.
The state’s attorney hasn’t been charged with anything and won’t be. She doesn’t have a formal role in the Smollett fake-hate-crime case, now that she’s recused herself owing to a conflict of interest. But she stands in the court of public opinion after a remarkable Tribune story by reporters Megan Crepeau and Jeremy Gorner.
It is an account of how Foxx was contacted in the Smollett case by a politically connected lawyer close to Chicago’s most prominent political families, the Obamas and Emanuels. That lawyer, Tina Tchen, was chief of staff for former first lady Michelle Obama, and she is a friend of Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s wife, Amy Rule. Tchen was apparently a go-between for someone in the Smollett family.
The media, as much as any other entity, bears a tremendous amount of blame for neglecting their primary duty to the public and becoming agenda driven hacks. Kass has been fighting a losing battle for years against a rising tide and politically beholden editors who undoubtedly axed many stories that should have been printed.

It is time for all the fans of SCC who will read this in the morning to start to do what the Left does in a situation like this. Put on your SJW cape and start getting to work superheroes. Tweet, text, Facebook post, whatever it is (even My Space) and start pressing that Cabrini Kim should resign. Do not let up - be just like they are. Annoy and keep at it. For ever. Kass is simply writing of the common corruption in Crook County that's been going for decades. All that corruption has gotten so routine now after all this time that the truly incompetent and lazy are making their way into higher profile positions so that now the corruption involves amateurs and is harder to conceal. Can make for fun reading in retirement 1700 miles away in sunny AZ.
This was a great piece by Kass. Foxx should be relieved of her duties. I have a feeling this whole deal will lead to some prominent national politicians if anyone digs real deep.
Pulitzer prizes have been won by newspaper reporters who've written columns about public corruption. Heck, I might start writing about Crimesha snd Crook County justice, or lack therof. I'm from the pre trophy generation so a real prize would mean a lot to me.

Called the ASA, waste of time, but required to get a contact name for the arrest report. CTA bus driver was threatened, with a knife in hand and brandished, for not allowing a man to stay on the bus who refused to pay. We scoop up the mope and when we call in to ASA office a call taker not an ASA asks if there was a gun involved, if not felony charges for assault to a protected employee are denied. An actual ASA wasn't available but the call taker was inquiring with someone, assuming an ASA before relating charges denied. Useless laws, useless ASA's working under useless crimesha Fox, in this county.

I whole heartedly agree...We have to be just as annoying and loud in voicing our opinion on getting rid of Foxx just like the public and the fake revrunds. Keep voicing your opinions on every media/ social media site possible. FOXX is incapable of doing her job and MUST GO!
I'd love to see the FBI and DOJ swoop into Kim's offices and take over. They're the ones who need a consent decree.

Whoa, time out. Lets get a clear understanding here. You don't have to be a newspaper columnist to see the obvious. To Kass, Foxx is nothing more than fodder that fills a few column inches in a newspaper or a website. He's compensated for it. Her as a column subject is a couple hundred in his pocket. Lets enjoy the meal he put on the table but please, by no means think he's writing the obvious as a public service to you or anyone else. A few weeks back he had a podcast where he extolled his journalistic commitment by throwing Nick Blasé, former corrupt mayor of Niles, under the bus, even though Blasé is a shirt-tale relative of his.
What does that tell you? If you had someone in your family that strayed left of center would you jump out and tell the world about it or would you just regard him as a family embarrassment. In this case he used his connection to further his career. Some of you might think he was being righteous and sanctimonious in doing so, but in the real world he showed what he is, a pimp who would use anyone to put a few bucks in his pocket. As said here many times, the media is a commercial enterprise and those of you that think they're you're friends could very well end up like JVD.
I would really think that there is sufficient legal basis for her to resign or be prosecuted. But this is Chicago, so it won’t happen.
Unfortunately, Kass doesn't mention Foxx' hanging out at the Oscars which I don't think the average non SCC reading citizen is aware of.

Crimesha recuses herself because she is scared. A big case will show how she doesn’t have the skills to be in office. You only hear about her when she is doing something to obstruct the path of true justice being served.
There has to be a way to bring more heat down on her AND the ASA’s office. Is there a way to start a post of all serious felony charges her office denies ? The public should know about how screwed up the process is. How many times have you had to explain to a victim that the Police doesn’t “just let him go”? We arrest, ASAs won’t approve charges.
Shouldn’t EJ catch some shit for this as well? If she did indeed influence him to steer the investigation in any direction, then he should seriously be criticized. Investigations should not be influenced by anyone outside the party with the investigatory responsibility. This especially includes political figures! No confident vote for EJ.

Interesting that her office denied charges. 2 nights ago a cta worker was stabbed in the chest and abdomen. The worker was taking to the hospital in critical condition. 5 individuals are wanted in relation to this crime against the cta work. Additionally, it was last year that the cta union protested outside of the 002nd district demanding that a case be charged as a felony due the increased violence that cta workers face. The case in question was when 2 women threw an unknown liquid in the face of a cta driver after an argument. Kim Foxx held a press conference and stated that the women will be charged accordingly. And future incidents will be charged as felonies as well. Maybe the cta union need to scare FOXX again because she has already reneged on her press conference promise

This city is out of control. Rahm has destroyed Chicago. I filed a complaint with the board of ethics and then followed up with an email. The board of ethics filed a police report against me for harassment by electronic means. I’m suing.

Just state the facts in plain English, and sign your name to it. That's all it takes.
Foxx is nothing but a Preckwinkle puppet and a cancer upon every taxing paying, law abiding citizen in Cook County. Give her what she deserves.
Kass wrote a column years ago about Madigan and his shenanigans. The next day his column was about how great an organizer Madigan was and how much talent it took to keep everything together. I imagine the Tribune editors got a phone call after that first Kass column was printed.
Preckwinkle and Foxx are like/this. That alone is a good enough reason to vote against her.
The sad thing is that the liberals and progressives consider her a star because of her bond reforms, aka releasing criminals, so I doubt anything will happen to her.

I think it is great that this Obama employee / emmissary is outed for trying to involve herself / themselves in this incident. They all now bear the emberrasment of this false story which was devised to draw sympathy for an actor who can’t even keep his own “script” together. What would have been the result if a caucasian actor had tried to emberrass the Obama presidency with a racial incident allegedly perpetrated by persons of color who were Obama supporters.
Where are these powerbtokers that were so concerned with caring for, and protecting this “victim” at the time of the incident, when real victims are sufferring at the hands of the “community members” everyday of the week. The media is not silent, Perri Small, from WVON, was bashing the Chicago Police Department, yesterday, on how it does not investigate crimes in the black community but will find time to investigate Smollet and R Kelly (because they are black and successful). She went on to say burglaries in Mount Greenwood and Beverly are investigated but not on the west or south sides. Every radio host on WVON talk about Crimisa Foxx as if she is the second coming of Christ. For Mayor, they are all confused on who to support because neither one is "Black enough" for them.

Basically Foxx has gotten herself caught trying to kink a case by moving the investigation over to the FBI once the CPD detectives were on to the hoax. That is what prompted the "OMG,that would be such a huge victory!" from the Obama attorney that was trying to orchestrate the fix. Once Fox was caught she tried to cover her tracks by recusing herself. That did not work because her emails became public.
So now we have a State's Attorney who has committed Obstruction of Justice.Since that is a state charge it would be in the Illinois Attorney General's jurisdiction.But because Illinois is such a cesspool of corruption nothing will be done. There is not a single moral compass that will work in this horrid state and therefore Fox will get a pass when she should be indicted . How sad.

Foxx was obstructing justice. It's clear. The CCSAO needs to investigate this and charge her accordingly. Yet, police officers are being questioned by CCSAO about matters that have nothing to do with the criminal case. So, when Jussie Smollett's attorney
subpoenas Kim Foxx and ask her what she was promised or how she benefited by reaching out to the Superintendent. What will her answer be? Foxx obstructed justice. Should her conduct be be questioned by CCSAO? Should she be required to answer personal and financial questions that have nothing to do with the Smollett's case. Is she going to tell the truth and say that she was promised something in exchange. How can the citizens of Chicago trust that she has their best interest when she is interfering or offering preferential treatment to only prominent citizens.
Eric Sussman (her former number two) was terminated or "resigned" for illegally utilizing Cook County resources for personal benefit. Should she be charged with obstruction of justice for not charging Sussman. Chicago Police Officer are being placed on a list barring them from testifying in court without due process. Officers that speak out or fight back are being placed on this list. The FOP crickets. Officers making innocent makes are being penalized and threaten with prosecution.
Start keeping a list officers. Every time the CCSAO acts inappropriately or suggest something in inappropriately document and report.
Fight fire with Fire.
Both Foxxx & special Ed should be fired & charged with conspiracy & obstruction of justice.

I like Kass although I don’t agree with everything he writes but what agenda are you speaking of? Kass has been writing his column on page 2 for years and he’s probably pushing 60. I’m sure he’s well compensated. He’s not looking for promotion or not even a Pulitzer Prize. He’s like a 10 year no clout Lieutenant in a District who knows he’s not going any higher. So what agenda are you talking about?

(a) seek to influence a judge, juror, prospective juror or other official by means prohibited by law;
(b) communicate ex parte with such a person during the proceeding unless authorized to do so by law or court order;
(c) communicate with a juror or prospective juror after discharge of the jury if:
(1) the communication is prohibited by law or court order;
(2) the juror has made known to the lawyer a desire not to communicate; or
(3) the communication involves misrepresentation, coercion, duress or harassment; or
(d) engage in conduct intended to disrupt a tribunal.
3.5 (a) In that the superintendent of police is an official and their attempts to influence him to steer his investigation to the FBI were certainly undue influence to begin with. So if you have some time to kill, you can go on the ARDC page and file this complaint against both attorneys, who certainly should know better, if you are waiting for the AG or the DOJ to do anything about this, you will be waiting until the White Sox become relevant again, Mr. Prieb, are you reading this?
The conduct prohibited is Official Misconduct in the SA's case:
33-3. Official Misconduct.
(a) A public officer or employee or special government agent commits misconduct when, in his official capacity or capacity as a special government agent, he or she commits any of the following acts:
(1) Intentionally or recklessly fails to perform any mandatory duty as required by law; or
(2) Knowingly performs an act which he knows he is forbidden by law to perform; or
(3) With intent to obtain a personal advantage for himself or another, he performs an act in excess of his lawful authority; or
(4) Solicits or knowingly accepts for the performance of any act a fee or reward which he knows is not authorized by law.
(b) An employee of a law enforcement agency commits misconduct when he or she knowingly uses or communicates, directly or indirectly, information acquired in the course of employment, with the intent to obstruct, impede, or prevent the investigation, apprehension, or prosecution of any criminal offense or person. Nothing in this subsection (b) shall be construed to impose liability for communicating to a confidential resource, who is participating or aiding law enforcement, in an ongoing investigation.
(c) A public officer or employee or special government agent convicted of violating any provision of this Section forfeits his or her office or employment or position as a special government agent. In addition, he or she commits a Class 3 felony.
(d) For purposes of this Section, “special government agent” has the meaning ascribed to it in subsection (l) of Section 4A-101 of the Illinois Governmental Ethics Act.

I like Kass although I don’t agree with everything he writes but what agenda are you speaking of? Kass has been writing his column on page 2 for years and he’s probably pushing 60. I’m sure he’s well compensated. He’s not looking for promotion or not even a Pulitzer Prize. He’s like a 10 year no clout Lieutenant in a District who knows he’s not going any higher. So what agenda are you talking about?

Learn to read. He is not a liberal or a leftist. . A former Chicago Tribune reporter named KT Hawbaker, called out the Tribune for its racist attacks against women and blacks.
So what does the Tribune do?
Attack a black woman ( Foxx) and a black gay male ( Smollett).
Although the Tribune got it right to call out Foxx and Smollett, it doesn't negate the Tribune's history of bad reporting that is both racist and police hating.
I don't care how much Kass, who is a questionable writer, praises Gorner and Crepeau.
